FOR SALE IS A 1980 Chevy C10 Stepside with 47,000 Original Miles. This vehicle came from the Fresno area originally. It was a father and son project that started when the son was gifted this truck by his godfather around 4 years ago. Before that his god father owned it for many years and had it stored in a barn. They spent well over 30,000 restoring the truck to the point it's at. The son graduated highschool and started to commute to college with this truck, unfortunately it was killing him on gas so they decided to sell it and buy something economical.
They order a brand new motor and transmission from summit racing. The engine and transmission probably have less than 4000 Miles on them. After they installed the new engine they spent another $6,000 putting all the smog related items on and making sure it's all CA compliant. All the parts they purchased were new. It will smog with no issues. The truck has a vintage air A/C system. A/C blows cold. It has power steering and power brakes. Front disc brakes as well. Much of the suspension was also replaced with new shocks, coil springs, bushings and much more. They had put on a good lowering kit. Majority of parts were from summit racing. New custom rims and tires. They installed a full new sound system that cost over $5,000. Sony receiver with all the amenities such as bluetooth as well as speakers on the doors and a subwoofer in the back. This truck also has a key fob that opens and closes the doors. As well as an alarm system. Custom dash. New steering wheel. Mostly new wiring. New door panels. Electric window. New exhaust system as well as catalytic converter. New bed trim as well as wood. And much more!
Its current condition is as shown in the video. The truck runs and drives excellent. It can be driven cross country as it sits. The motor sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The brakes and suspension feel great. A/C Blows cold. The sound system works perfectly. Like mentioned this was a daily driver. Everything should be in good working order. The body is in very good shape. It has zero real rust anywhere. And it never had any rust repairs in the past. It came out of a very dry region. It was painted about three years ago. The paint is very nice and the body is straight. It has minor damage on the front as shown in the video.
