Kamelot's new video My Therapy serves to put a spotlight on social anxiety that effects up to 20% of adults worldwide. Kamelot vocalist Tommy Karevik adds: "The original idea of the song was based on experiments done years ago on children where they would be clinically taken care of, but never held, loved or nurtured. The outcome was disastrous and proves that in this sometimes complicated world spinning faster and faster, the very foundation of our health and well being really rests upon something very simple and uncomplicated... The human touch...."

They're mine too,i think i listen to them about 30 times a day,they helped me get through a lot of stuff.When i'm depressed or happy they are alway's there to get me through my day or night :-)
Kahn was excellent, yes, but Tommy has done an excellent job filling in. He's fun live (and sounds great), has an excellent range and really matches the group well. Good song here.

I was a doubter.. But I love him, now.
I only learned about Kamelot through Simone and I only liked the song because of her. I tried other songs with Roy but I couldn't get into them. I tried lot of them and nothing. When I however heard just one song with Tommy I liked it immediately . If it wasn't for Tommy I wouldn't get into Kamelot at all. And there is not a single song on Silverthorn or Haven that I don't love. Period.
This represents exactly what kamelot music makes to me: heals the pain

This is an amazing song and an amazing video. As a Psychology minor, I've learned what kind of impact touch can have on the life of a human, especially a child. Social anxiety is a serious issue and taking time to touch our children while spending real quality time with them can actually help reduce the prevalence of this. Children are our future and it is up to each and every individual, regardless if you have children or not, to ensure that our children grow up to be confident enough to not just take the reins from us, but also in doing so not repeat the mistakes that their parents have made. I find that in our westernized, technocratic society (which has made our lives far better for the most part), it is easier by far to let technology entertain our children, but unfortunately this, in the long term, can have detrimental effects on them. I know that this problem is not universal, but I believe that it is prevalent enough that it is affecting the next generation in a general sense. In short: Touch your children as you play with them - it will make their lives better. Keep up the good work Kamelot!
I am in love with this song and personally take it to mean that the music helps fill a void in my soul. This music sates the hunger for melody I didn't know I was searching for. And his voice is really well matched to the rest of the band. Thanks for putting this video on UA-cam!
