Kamelot returns with a sci-fi inspired thriller for the song "Insomnia". In a post apocalyptic world, surveillance is everywhere and over population is rampant. Deep in the underground of the Wasteland Monarchy lies the Insomnia Division, the housing for some of the chosen ones, only allowed to live in an Insomniatic state.
Insomnia is on Kamelot's new album HAVEN, due for release May 4th, 2015. It is available for pre-order now at Napalm Records Webstore in multiple Ltd editions and special bundles.

It's so awesome that I've never heard a bad Kamelot song. I loved everything you guys did since Roy joined the band. And now with Tommy you got even better! Keep it up guys. The new album will be a masterpiece.

Can't get tired of Kamelot, they have already established a really original sound, no easy feat for any band. Loving this Sci-Fi theme, You can't never go wrong exploring some dystopian atmospheres.
I dragged two friends to the Kamelot/Dragonforce concert that was here a couple of days ago. They both ordered Haven yesterday.
Tommy's expressions are so hypnotic.
I was a Khan's fan almost as much as a Kamelot fan back in the day. That's why I chose not to listen to them for a couple of years. I came back to Kamelot to find out they haven't lost it and Khan's replacement is a hell of a singer too.
I've had yet to listen to anything Khan has ever done. I only started jamming to Kamelot about a week or so ago when I got into the song "Liar Liar". The above music video is pretty cool. Definitely getting into this band, and Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy (Man, she is CUTE !!!! :) ). Their vocals mixing together on "Liar Liar" are AMAZING !!!!! Became an instant fan, the other day when I came across the said video. Here's to wishing both bands continued success in everything they do.
I'm ashamed to say I did the same thing. I totally stopped listening to them once I heard Khan left. I was the dumb.
Couldn't have said it better! :-) I thought Roy Khan was irreplaceable, but good to see the new vocalist is just as good! I've not bought their post-Khan albums, time for me to go and change that!
Yeah, Tommy's a hell of a successor to Khan. Similar enough that Kamelot can still use the same style but different enough to change it up, while still being all kinds of capable. I was iffy at first with Silverthorn being a little weak but he really redeemed himself with Haven, it is a kickass album.
Check out Seventh Wonder if you like Tommy.
Everything about this band is flawless, can't wait for Haven to drop and repeat the whole album for dayzzz, maybe years. Long live Kamelot!

+Shawn Elliott Kamelot rules, both Tommy and Roy (the previous vocalist) are incredible. Also, check out Avantasia, another really good one. Lots of different vocal types, considered to be a metal/rock opera project.
+Shawn Elliott So... slightly different then this but featuring the same vocalist check out the band Seventh Wonder. Tommy Karevik really gets to show off his vocals there, and the entire band is insanely talented. Especially that bass player. Hot Damn!

Kamelot was that ever since Khan replaced the first guy, who was quite frankly a pretty bad singer. Khan truly saved the band and Tommy is keeping it going extremely well in his absence. Usually losing a longtime lead singer kills bands but Kamelot struck gold when they found Tommy.
Id check out powerwolf, not as operatic but the dudes' voice is fucking beautiful.

Man, I love Tommy's voice so much! The range of emotional tone he can project with it is incredible. I first heard him in Ayreon's 'The Theory of Everything', and I was like "dude's really good!". Then I start listening to Kamelot's 'Silverthorn', and it's perfect. The band's style and his voice go really well together.

This is by far my favorite song from the Haven album. Been a fan since FOURTH LEGACY. I love how Tommy sings and his stage presence is magical. I can't wait to see them in denver. KAMELOT is one of those bands that keeps a strong force in all their albums
Karevik is an amazing luck for Kamelot after Roy's leaving - hard to imagine who could replace him better.

I live in United States, but I wonder why radio stations don't play more of this kind of music since Kamelot originated here! They are more popular overseas. Americans are really brainwashed with all the cookie cutter music out there.

Looks really cool, however I still think it was a good idea to release Veil of Elysium first. This song still has a lot of power, but is not as impressive as Elysium (or Sacrimony to compare it to last album). Absolutely hyped about this album! Can't wait for it's release!

When tommy hits his highs, he sounds a lot like Roy. Actually, I hear a lot of resemblance between the two. No disrespect to Roy, he is a very talented individual, but so is Tommy. I like them both a lot. Kamelot is in good hands be it with Tommy, or Roy.

Somehow obsessed with the 1:59 second... something about the way he turns. The expression... the broad shoulders... the spiky shape of the beard... the fact that it's connected to the hair... the shirt. It's as if he's computer animated... straight out of a japanese manga. And considering his voice and personal character... I wish I was him.

Started listening to this band two days ago, already completely obsessed and have listened to a lot of their songs already. Truly amazing, and inspiring too! This is very similar to what I wanted my own band to sound like in the first place, it now makes me sad to say that we're a thrash metal band :(
