I love this fragrance and its a great summer fragrance because it develops beautifully if you are warm and moving around. Perfect for walking on the beach and smells gorgeous if you have been dancing!
I love this, the bottle is my favorite! The coconut here I think is just enough, just gives it a littttttle bit of sweet, creaminess.. and after a while, it has this little smoky woodiness. I noticed it only after I used a nice creamy coconut shampoo and conditioner. Very nice :)
Finally have this in my collection. I totally agree with you with it not being a full "sun cream" fragrance. There is definately a hint of earthiness to it and indeed like a HUGE bouquet of white flowers, the kind where you get the odd open lily dotted in there. So gorgeous. Also do not get any coconut.

I`d don`t get overwhelmed by the Jasmine from this one, I`d say this is more of a winter, tonka bean type scent. Great to wear with a fur coat (fake of course :-) for a winter ball dinner. Tiare, I have some here on my desk: it smells like wintergreen + Jasmine. The coconut is likely from something called C-18 gamma nonalaconic aldehyde. I`m a man, and thing I like about this particular perfume is that its silky, powdery and round, warm and does`t change that much through its dry down.

A fragrantica friend sent me a sample of this and it was instant love.... I HAVE to get a 100ml bottle of this. I know its considered to be a summer fragrance, and I have yet to try it in the summer, but as now I am wearing it in January, and I love it now.....surely it cant be even better in the summer? Can't wait to find out.

This reminds me of LOVE BEAUTY AND PLANET SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER, the hope and repair line called Ylang Ylang and coconut oil. This is a true beauty of a fragrance. I’m super picky about white flowers because they can be intense for me. But this fragrance does white florals right.
My bottle arrived yesterday and it was love at first sniff ,I was actually quite blown away by it !! I don’t think it’s beachy because I can’t smell the coconut and it drys down so nice creamy,sweet and vanilla ,I get lots of jasmine and yalang yalang and I’m addicted to the smell ,it’s just so well blended and I love that it holds the top notes to the end.Lasts about 4-5 hours on me I think I will wear it anytime of the year !! Also I get a shuttle hint if new doll head,which is a blast from my childhood Great review Frances

Hello! I love your channel..I just have a question. On the terracotta bottle the disc in the middle is it a metallic embossed sticker or an actual metal disc. I brought a bottle off of ebay which was described as a tester. And the disc in the middle is a metal sticker not an actual thick metal disc and it was quite crooked the way it was placed on the bottle. If you could tell me it would be a great help. Keep up the wonderful work
Hello! Hmmm it was kinda a mixture of the too. It was definitely made of metal but had a sticky back. It was nice quality and placed in the centre. I kinda wished it was on both sides though coz you can see the glue holding it on from the back. It makes the bottle only pretty from one side. :(

I think as a general rule..florals always work better in summer since naturally, they bloom in spring and summer. Also the way it feels is very happy summery. But I say...bend the rules and see! I wear heavy stuff in summer and it works.
I purchased a bottle without smelling it and oh my goodness boy do I regret it. On my skin it smells like pee. No joke. I’m so disappointed. And yes I got it from a reputable seller. Oh I so wanted to like it. But I can’t be smelling like pee.

I have been looking for a great tropical summer scent. Having worn Heritage for years, I was already a fan of Guerlain. So I got quite excited on learning of Terracotta. I purchased a bottle online only to discover that most people seem convinced it's a fragrance for women. A hundred-dollar mistake will hardly be my biggest fragrance goof (Tom Ford's Venetian Bergamot holds that distinction). I normally don't get too hung up on the gender-orientation of fragrance, but have no wish to come across as effeminate. Have I stepped in the doggy doo-doo with this purchase?
It depends on how you feel about white florals. To me it's really tropical and sunny. But white florals are usually seen as feminine...I don't care though. white flowers are so nice in fragrance that they are hard to pass up. I got a lot of compliments from this one. :)
Bought immediately a bottle when Guerlain released it. Lovely summer scent! In autumn I lovely to wear spicy and woody perfumes.

I would wear ylang ylang alone too! I got to smell some fresh ylang ylang right off the tree a couple years ago and it was amazing!
