Idylle EDP is beautiful. I bought it for my sister. It's now her favourite. The opening is like the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, fresh Lillie's come through gently and daintily. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, not too sweet. The dry down becomes brighter and more fresh. Absolutely stunning. I recommend for any lady who loves the more floral scents.

Gourmand Coquin is an intoxicating boozy chocolate concoction. That and all the Shalimars are my favourites. Their Aqua Allegoria line of fresh scents are also fabulous for Summer. Love Guerlain!

A timeless house. Wasser and all of his predecessors have done some marvelous work. Out of all the brands widely available today, Guerlain has also managed to maintain that vintage quality the longest - a difficult feat when facing a largely contemporized market. Don't know if they would be classified as niche since they also do makeup, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the scent. A lovely video Demi.
Guerlain is one of best niche brand. It's not designer house. They are mainstream but they are niche brand. Top quality and best master perfumer company. I love your reviews. This is one of your best reviews.
I persoanlly believe they are a cosmetic company much like Lancome since they make both fragrance and cosmetics. I believe Guerlain even introduced the first lipsticks back in the 1800s. They have a ton of history and innovation behind them not only in fragrance but also in makeup and skincare. They are one of the best brands around not to mention one of the oldest fragrance/cosmetics houses in the world. There is a reason they are still relevant almost 200 years later.

Recently sent off for a few Guerlain samples just to try them after having my curiosity piqued from UA-cam reviews.
Wore L'instant pour Homme edt and felt underwhelmed but curiously a couple of my lady friends said I smelled amazing and it was much more appealing than most of the fragrances I usually wear. I'll get another one of that to try wearing it again to see if I understand it better with familiarity.

I usually wear fragrances on my clothes and I was actually afraid that "Mom Guerlain" will be too soft and that it will not last - however I'm surprised at how long it lasts on the clothes. Even after 14 hours I constantly smell it and even after 24'hours I can still smell it, even though it's very faint by then. I really recommend wearing it on the clothes. The Sillage is also quite heavy that way.
L’instant de Guerlain Extreme for men is amazing in cold weather. Smells like a rich spiced pastry with cacao sprinkled on it ❤️ it lasts for 24hrs on my skin

The fact that you didn’t mention Shalimar is blowing my mind!!! I’ve worn that fragrance every day for years and people know it’s me when I walk into a room because of my fragrance. I feel like it could definitely be a hit or miss depending on who’s wearing it, but I have been told on multiple occasions that I smell like unbaked sugar cookie dough. Not complaining! There is no fragrance I love more than Shalimar. :)

Lovely choices will have to check a few out again. I got Delina and Lancôme Oud Bouquet now all my others are incomparable lol. Except for summer days I love Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita.
I'm really curious what your thoughts are on L'heure Bleue by Guerlain! I own the edt version and i LOVE it. The creation is inspired by that brief moment of the day when the sun has just set, but it's still light outside. However it's getting darker and the sky is turning more blue and blue by the minute. And the crazy thing is that I really do find that the fragrance (at least the edt version) captured that feeling beautifully.
What do you think about Lancomes "Hypnose" ? Its also made by Thierry Wasser. :) Almost no fragrance youtuber mentions it.

Omg I’ve shied away from your content but I clicked on it today cuz of the live for Guerlain! And just as you said as well Chanel, Guerlain and Dior are my top fav perfume house as well. I also like some of the YSL perfumes, however they disappoints me sometimes. I picked up Jicky today, I adore Shalimar and would live to pick up more from the house
You should get samsara. It is vintage and classy and jasmine so good.

I have Mon Guerlain and I love it. I made an non toxic organic roll on oil only from organic Indian vanilla essential oil,organic certified lavender essential oil, org.jojoba oil. I tested and blended together until became a twin sister of Mon Guerlain. I asked someone two smell my oil blend and Mon Guerlain in my hand without telling what it is. This person said it's smell the same powdery vanilla lavender settled in my skin.
I went to smell Creed , some of their perfume the sense smell like Guerlain powder Metrolite Ball.
I wonder if Guerlain partnership with Creed.

Mon Guerlain is one of my top 5 fragrances, but I agree with you that it doesn't last long. Demi, have you tried any of Louis Vuitton fragrances? They have a few interesting ones.

I have some perfumes that I really enjoy and many are also on my list (like Angélique noire and Santal royal).
If you like vanilla and Angélique noire you should definitely try Joyeuse Tubéreuse.
I also think that you would really enjoy Cuir beluga ! (I prefer it to SDV.)

Guerlain is also great for dudes -- Habit Rouge, Vetiver, and L'Homme Ideal are all outstanding. Mitsouko (1919) is a chypre that came out just two years after the category was created, and Guerlain Jicky is the oldest of old school fougere fragrances considering that it was released in 1889. These last two are unisex fragrances, but Sean Connery wore Jicky, so yeah, masculine.
From the first time I smelled my Dad's Gerlain cologne, it smelled to me like Gin. I was in love cos the smell is overwhelming but in a Great way. If I smell it today it will be the epitome of my Dad, cos he had the best & finest taste! ❤❤❤

I've tried so hard to love the house of Guerlain but for some reason their fragrances just don't vibe with me. Shalimar is a classic though.

My top two favorite perfume houses are Guerlain & Mugler. Demi... I agree with Mon Guerlain's longevity, not the best. Have you tried putting on a non scented lotion first or the actual (Mon Guerlain lotion that comes in the gift set), then spray the perfume it makes a world of difference! 💕

It’s 9:30 pm and I went to store and sprayed Mon Guerlain at 1 pm and I still smell it on me. I kept getting riffs of it. I think I want a whole bottle and get rid of some others I have. It smells delicious. So powdery and chocolaty citrusy I’m loving it.

Great video Demi, but Guerlain is not a designer like Dior, Chanel and Mugler, who design clothes, handbags and shoes. Guerlain does only perfume and some make up. :/

I begin with Channel, Dior and after with same G , but my collection it's more floral family in 1 preference, after more elegant combination and a lot with long lasting, half v strong, and the rest fresh, al v v feminine, and from a lot of brand's existing, by the way : I love to doing Layering with 80% of them= the small, long lasting and unique results it's better for my, I'm anointed v v quickly, sow : it's the better choice than I doing already for more than 16 years, but 20% I put only one type but they are unique and v v long lasting, aphrodisiac for everybody, really the people who smell= go in trains/like magic smell( same off theme have crazy cocktail unsaid, even Laudanon, Absentees note, but natural, only the France brand's existing with this character that blows everyone is minds, I choose depending off naith, club, events softly/relax, butt only in the naith, the rest it's for every time, or the 4 season , g job miss sympathy 📈✨🎉⭐🎇🌟🙌😎
