Specially in a best of 1 where you can't side them for when you know you're going first, they're undoubtedly good and strong, but if you really don't have space for them, it is better to left them off, it's usually better to have the cards you want in hand rather than a card that MIGHT get it for you, so unless maxx c gets ban, fuwalos is way lower in the ht priority list.
Yea the whole “9 copies of maxx c” Terror that people have been afraid of will probably only exist in 60 card or severe going second type decks *edited to add even some going second decks don’t have anymore room for 3-6 not hand traps because they need the board breakers and engine pieces

As long as maxx c still not banned i think the mulcharmies are not a must have yet. I just think in a best of one format for MD half of the times the mulcharmies are dead in your hand as normally you would wanna go first. The mulcharmies are popular in tcg and ocg in best of 3 where you have side decks and you side them in when you are guaranteed going 2nd that game. Its a good card in a blind 2nd strategy tho
Why would you not want to draw 20 cards on turn one, when it's not your turn? MD meta will chance to go second format real quick once people figure it out.
@@mattevans1643It's not draw 20 as you need to shuffle back some cards during the end phase, admittedly only after you used your handtraps, but it is indeed a better idea to turn your going-first deck into a go second machine (not a blind second one tho) if you can, tenpai proved that if you put enough ht and board breakers in a 1 card combo deck you can succeed even if you can't outright kill them, sure your deck might not have the field spell protection, but that doesn't mean you can't establish a better board than tenpai's seals pass going second, at that point, you probably won even though the oponent is still alive.
I was blessed today. On two of my accounts I got nothing out of 10 packs but ashen cards. On the third one though, I got 2 fuwa, 1 put ilia and a super poly.

The only reason I even went into this pack was for the Ashened Cards. I don't care if they aren't good. Any Dark Souls inspired archetype gets my gems. I didn't pull anything except one of the spells and one of the monsters. I also got a Fuwalos as my ultra. After i had already crafted 3 of them sad face!

Personally, im enjoying the light and darkness dragon support. Its really fun in blue-eyes. I hope we get the battlewasp cards soon because i really want to build them as well as update my skull servant deck.
I spent 40.000+ gems to get 1 copy of the pink alt evil twin and didn't get her. Konami should do something about not being able to craft the alt arts. Maybe something x amount of pack openings you can craft it.
Is this me or is it only Dkayed, who has that bad luck at pack openings? Because just yesterday I made the decision to come back to the game after a very long time and what happened is interesting. I spontaniously decided as I was in the game and after I checked everything important out to spend some of my 9999 gems that I farmed f2p, once I was still playing, and what I got surprised me. To first let you know why I thought it was good to invest in it: It was basically just that I heard of the news that fuwalos does come to the game and that it most likely will be the "new best card" or something similar and then it was like "Oh hey, I could need that card, if it's so strong". Of course I knew kind of what it does and things, but not really what impact it will have to the game. I mean noone can practically know, but you can still estimate. So to get to the point quickly now, because I also don't have time forever I will say that in the end I got an amount of 11 UR cards in total by only spending 5000 hardly farmed gems and one time at a 10 pack opening I even did get 5 at once. What the fuck? Is this now returner luck or something like that? I mean I do have the assumption in the back of my head that Konami is doing this intentionally to make me spend more and more gems and pay money finally and that is probably also what it is. Konami just continously in need of money, but I think it is still unusual that things like this occur. What do you guys say? Maybe I am completely at fault about what I am telling about this experience, but I don't really have an idea. I think you're already losing your mind... Azamina is still pretty new to the TCG, we're still missing alot of other older support until then, even Fiendsmith, alongside Millenium, Memento, Mermail, Centurion, Goblin Biker, and maybe a few more
If they banned maxx c they would have to refund 90 ur points, which is more than enough to craft the playset of fuwalos, giving you no reason to buy the box, so until they make their money out of the pack, there's no way they were going to hit maxx c. I think it is the first time in md's history that a card might get hit based on the on when a different card leaves the shop rather than the card itself leaving the shop like usual. So if maxx c doesn't get hit after fuwalos leaves the shop, it never will.
So many UR's per deck + Extra Deck is getting crazy. Almost every card in Tenpai is a UR. Can we go back to 3 UR for a deck with extra deck or just Free UR & SG like DuelBook. Master is Pay to win.
considering it's the anniversary, fiendsmith, millennium and bewd are the likely candidates, one for the potency of the engine and the others for nostalgia, the most likely is fiendsmith since it is already late, but there's room for other decks to come like azamina and such.

Regarding my statement on Ashened copium I wasn't really talking about you personally but other people in the comments trying to make it sound playable and better than people give it credit for. @ locals is something though. It shows that the deck can perform. Some decks just can’t on their own and Ashened actually can. That’s all I really care about. I like pure decks and any deck that can perform on its own without an engine and/or generic boss monsters doing the heavy lifting. Doesn’t mean it’s good but at least playable. For example, I love Super Quantums but, my goodness that deck cannot perform on its own at all in this meta. Dkayed said it had nothing, no data. Which right before I saw this video I saw it win a local by happenstance. I was shocked because I thought it was War Rock bad (which I like that deck too especially when its latest support came) but it can do damage. Some decks though are just to convoluted and restricted for no reason. While others get to do whatever they want. I think that’s what we are seeing when looking at this deck and ones like it. Yeah it’s not good but, it at least does what it does because some decks have a plan and can’t even get to it. Remember Ice barriers before their last support?
I don't think is a good idea to play 6 maxx c. As your scarfice a good handtrap like Imperm, gamma / delta which way more impactful and it is unstoppable handtrap, and pray that you're draw the single copy of Crossout to stop imperm and delta / gamma. Just single copy fuwalos is enough in my deck, unless maxx c ban then ya consider 3 copy in my deck.
I would recommend you at least two fuwalos tho, if a single resolves, why not fire the second one you just draw and get two draws instead? and while not ideal, a good chunk of decks summon on your turn so you can fire it on your turn so long you don't have card on the field yet and bait negations or force interactions early with it, not a priority perhaps, but definitely something to consider
@chrisb.2028 ya. If i have slot to side in tbh. Plus not all the time your get maxx c and fuwaloss together. if going 1st, your don't want to draw fuwaloss when going 1st as it will become dead card in your hand.
Hot take I feel like max c is a needed evil to help stop a lot of decks. Yes it sucks when you get maxx c on the first turn but it feels good when you stop them from going on a 20 min turn
Getting Maxx C on 1st turn is not the main problem. The problem is when you go second, your opponent already established their board with interruptions and negates, only for them to resolve it to draw more handtraps and more follow-up next turn. The Mulcharmies is more balanced and should be the middle way solution, but idk why Konami MD dare to release 2 of them without hitting Maxx C.
About Fuwalos.. what a bunch of beginners complaining about it ...u cannot play more than 1 Fuwalos and 3 Maxx C....u brick with 3 Fuwalos ( i used Fuwalos and same round Maxx C..they are not stacking..soo u draw 2 cards ...they are not stacking together)
I... think you're not speaking english? are you saying fuwalos and maxx c draw effect are not stacking? they should, you can use two mulcharmies (can be the same one) and they should stack together with maxx c, you will however, have to shuffle cards back at the end phase based on the amount of cards the oponent controls, also if they special summon from anywhere else other than the deck or ed, fuwalos will not draw anything, but maxx c will. or are you saying that people are not reading the card's effects properly?
I only spent 2k gems and got 2 fuwalos and 9 of the ashened cards. So i just broke down the ashened ones and my tenpai cards and crafted the 3rd fuwalos.
My favorite part is gambling on them having two fuwalos while I have crossout/call by. they chain fuwalos and pass priority, don't chain call by, they either end the chain, or chain the second fuwalos, THEN I chain call by.

Alternative formats are crucial because most players know Yugioh from the anime, and modern Yugioh is far crazier and very different. Some people might say it’s fine if players quit, but fewer players mean less money for Konami. Now, they’re desperately trying to profit by making everything even more expensive.
yeah specialy when they take 20 min to build a board then they use maxx c on opponents turn , extremely balanced and super fun ... there is definitely wrong with ygo player's and the shitty game ...
@@kianchampion9581It is shitty, but have you considered the risk they take by bringing a heavy combo deck into a maxx c format? yes, they combo forever, then maxx c you and you lose, but think about the reverse situation, you have maxx c and they don't have a way to stop it, they either set a couple of cards and pass, or take the challenge and still lose, you're only electing to see the best case scenario for them, but not the worst case scenario they have to face just by playing that deck, and just like how you never see the benefits of using an antivirus in your pc and wonder why you're even using it, the fact that maxx c is in the game is enough incentive to not play super long combo decks, just because you still see them doesn't mean that there's a good chunk of players that actively choose not to play them because maxx c exists. Yubel, rescue ace, sefk, most meta deck have plays in case of getting maxx c, either put out a strong board hard to crack with few summons, play on your turn, or ht you to death, but also have a strong plan in case maxx c doesn't show up. other combo decks with similar or more degenerate strategies doesn't have that luxury.

Dkayed said it had nothing, no data. Which right before I saw this video I saw it win a local by happenstance. I was shocked because I thought it was War Rock bad (which I like that deck too especially when its latest support came) but it can do damage.
Some decks though are just to convoluted and restricted for no reason. While others get to do whatever they want. I think that’s what we are seeing when looking at this deck and ones like it. Yeah it’s not good but, it at least does what it does because some decks have a plan and can’t even get to it. Remember Ice barriers before their last support?

I don't think is a good idea to play 6 maxx c. As your scarfice a good handtrap like Imperm, gamma / delta which way more impactful and it is unstoppable handtrap, and pray that you're draw the single copy of Crossout to stop imperm and delta / gamma. Just single copy fuwalos is enough in my deck, unless maxx c ban then ya consider 3 copy in my deck.
I would recommend you at least two fuwalos tho, if a single resolves, why not fire the second one you just draw and get two draws instead? and while not ideal, a good chunk of decks summon on your turn so you can fire it on your turn so long you don't have card on the field yet and bait negations or force interactions early with it, not a priority perhaps, but definitely something to consider
@chrisb.2028 ya. If i have slot to side in tbh. Plus not all the time your get maxx c and fuwaloss together. if going 1st, your don't want to draw fuwaloss when going 1st as it will become dead card in your hand.

Hot take I feel like max c is a needed evil to help stop a lot of decks. Yes it sucks when you get maxx c on the first turn but it feels good when you stop them from going on a 20 min turn

Why not bring back king calamity and shock master its basically the same thing skipping your turn.
Getting Maxx C on 1st turn is not the main problem. The problem is when you go second, your opponent already established their board with interruptions and negates, only for them to resolve it to draw more handtraps and more follow-up next turn.
The Mulcharmies is more balanced and should be the middle way solution, but idk why Konami MD dare to release 2 of them without hitting Maxx C.

what a bunch of beginners complaining about it ...u cannot play more than 1 Fuwalos and 3 Maxx C....u brick with 3 Fuwalos ( i used Fuwalos and same round Maxx C..they are not stacking..soo u draw 2 cards ...they are not stacking together)
I... think you're not speaking english? are you saying fuwalos and maxx c draw effect are not stacking? they should, you can use two mulcharmies (can be the same one) and they should stack together with maxx c, you will however, have to shuffle cards back at the end phase based on the amount of cards the oponent controls, also if they special summon from anywhere else other than the deck or ed, fuwalos will not draw anything, but maxx c will.
or are you saying that people are not reading the card's effects properly?
@chrisb.2028 mate..i used Fuwalos..and after Maxx C...and Maxx C removed Fuwalos and took his place in the draw ( that is what happened) ..

I only spent 2k gems and got 2 fuwalos and 9 of the ashened cards. So i just broke down the ashened ones and my tenpai cards and crafted the 3rd fuwalos.

they chain fuwalos and pass priority, don't chain call by, they either end the chain, or chain the second fuwalos, THEN I chain call by.

yeah specialy when they take 20 min to build a board then they use maxx c on opponents turn , extremely balanced and super fun ... there is definitely wrong with ygo player's and the shitty game ...

@@kianchampion9581It is shitty, but have you considered the risk they take by bringing a heavy combo deck into a maxx c format? yes, they combo forever, then maxx c you and you lose, but think about the reverse situation, you have maxx c and they don't have a way to stop it, they either set a couple of cards and pass, or take the challenge and still lose, you're only electing to see the best case scenario for them, but not the worst case scenario they have to face just by playing that deck, and just like how you never see the benefits of using an antivirus in your pc and wonder why you're even using it, the fact that maxx c is in the game is enough incentive to not play super long combo decks, just because you still see them doesn't mean that there's a good chunk of players that actively choose not to play them because maxx c exists.
Yubel, rescue ace, sefk, most meta deck have plays in case of getting maxx c, either put out a strong board hard to crack with few summons, play on your turn, or ht you to death, but also have a strong plan in case maxx c doesn't show up. other combo decks with similar or more degenerate strategies doesn't have that luxury.
I still try to figure out why people use it on Tear/Lightsworn decks because they will deck out lol
