The meaning of Korshynov/Skif scene is actually quite simple. I understood by talking to my friend, who serves in our ukrainian army. Korshunov wants to get certain answers from Skif, and he wants to identify whether Skif is lying or not. So he wants Skif to be under certain pressure, so he will not be able to lie easily. Korshunov disassembles rifle and orders Skif to assemble it back, and while doing this, also answering Korshunov's question. Skif needed to do 2 things at the same time, thus he can fail at details. It',s hard to process 2 things at a time. If Skif concentrates on his story/answers, he will be nerveous and start making shaky moves while assembling the gun. If Skif concentrates on assembling the gun, his tongue may slip up, or he delay with his answers. This will give him away to Korshunov. Genius scene, great directing from GSC.
I lost my shit when I saw strider. So happy they're planning on expanding on what happened to the monolithians after the fall of c-con. Can't wait to see who the new threat is going to be.
It was great to see Strider again, I feel like he is a character that could have a lot of lore due to his uniqueness of being a exmonolithian and not just a guy you recruit to traverse the Jupiter underground
My thoughts went even as far as assuming that Skif or Strider could have been one of the Monolithians that killed some of those soldiers of Operation Fairway when they tried to set foot into Pripyat. That could mean a helluva psychological trauma for either of them if they could suddenly recall doing that.
A lot of people are saying the english voice acting is bad and cringe but never properly explain why that is in objective detail. It seems objectively fine to me and I grew up with bad English Dubs of anime, so I know what I've experienced before.
Exactly this ^ compared to the old English dubs these new ones sound great. I just hope changing languages can also change the mouth animations but the facial animations in the trailer are really wild so I’m curious if its possible lol
@@B.L.I.N.O.V. Me too. Especially that I despise the trope where everyone speaks in an accent. Like "Oh wow, look at the time, it's plot time, and we should start randomly speak English for no reason at all!"
I always saw the disassembly of the weapon as a psychological thing, it's possible the gun was Skifs gun and by disassembling it, he's both doing to the gun what he wants to do with the puzzle before him (break it down to it's parts to understand its internals), and also to impress on Skif that he is entirely in control of Skifs situation. Skif being in the machine's been playing on my head a lot as well, kinda makes me wonder if Strider was saving Skif from a terrible fate or the like.
I think the Colonel is pulling apart the weapon and throwing it at Skiff as a sort of test of Skiffs abilities. His memory loss and perhaps the fact Skiffs maybe hiding the fact he is ex monolith or perhaps just isn’t aware at this time that he is (as per convo with Strider) but the colonel is questioning how Skiff is so combat effective despite memory loss.
I was waiting for this video as long as I saw the trailer! The "Psi-field" maybe comes from the Greek letter "Ψ" which is pronounced as "psi" and not "psy" or "sy", so is scientific term from it's creators because scientists use Greek letters a lot.
Also, if a russian or ukrainian that doesnt speak fluent english were to say "psy" it would sound like "psi", not "psai". Almost identical to how you would pronounce it in rally-english (finglish)
@@anomalousdugout9557German, for example. However, I caught myself defaulting to "psai" when saying it in English. So indeed, saying it like that feels more natural in English. Though I wouldn't mind if they used the 'correct' pronounciation throughout the game - the Psi fields and Psi radiation are quite important for the lore.
"Psi" is likely a shortening of the Greek "psycho", which refers to the mind or soul. Also a common shorthand for "psychic". It's not a transliteration of the Greek letter. In this case, "psi-field" is shorthand for "psycho-field" or more likely "psychic-field". Probably something more elaborate like "psychic suppression field".
Idk if anyone mentioned this, but Faust Is a character made by Goethe, who makes a deal with the devil to attain higher knowledge. He eventually causes a civil war and over throws a king. Something tells me we’ll find similar themes in Stalker 2
In the PC Gamer article back in 2021, Sergei Grigorovich say's you can join the monolith faction, so i think its the choice of the player how the story goes through the game. For me, I'm really happy that GSC is expanding the story so much. Oh man i can not wait for the release :)
We can assume that Dmytro is a name of Dr Dalin, as in one document from Stalker 2 ARG he was addressed as D. V. Dalin. In those documents It also was revealed that Dalin let Korshunov down in (I don't remember the name) operation back in 2013, so there migth be some dissagreements between them in game, but it's just a theory
I have a theory, what if the c-conciousness never "died" but its somewhat "alive" in the noosphere, thats why Faust says that you cannot kill god. And what if, Faust, by using that brainwashing machine established a connection with the c-conciousness who is pretending to be the monolith, because, it would be kinda of weird that Faust used that machine to hear the monolith again, but heard nothing and still believed in it. Lets also remember the scene in the come to me trailer in which we can hear the monolith voice while a monolith soldier is fighting other monolithians in a manner that seems almost like if he was being controlled
@@anomalousdugout9557 one cool stalker book series called "Лунь" has couple of interesting plot details: a c-con-like character that lives in alternate reality and controls monolith from there but i doubt c-con could do something like this, they still needed physical body and all those labs and generators. there was another banger of a plot idea - Monolith is actually a real rock that has always been there underground with properties that grant mind control. Now, applying this to the game universe, hypothetically what if Monolith actually exists, it could solve the issue of accessibility of "noosphere", making this the only place on Earth where manipulation of it is possible, so Monolith acts as an object that bends the gravity pull for noosphere, somehow causing the Zone, it's expansion and emissions. Now my most favorite trope from those books that can be applied to the game. if Monolith exists - the monolith group gets a real solid purpose/goal - protecting the wish granter for the sake of all humanity! I'm looking forward to see how monolithians reunite, not brainwashed this time but with clear minds, willingly serving their cause. Sirca institute and Dalin are going to have hard times during my first playthrough, for Monolith!
A small detail on 12:25, there could potentially be realistic bullet travel in S2. The sight was aimed just below the head at the time of firing, but the impact was higher on the head. In the Stalker trilogy the travel was always linear, but actual projectiles travel parabolically. Edit: On closer analysis, it hit right of point of aim, just behind the shoulder. Seems the vertical zero is correct, the windage is off just slightly. But I'm not an expert on this. At least we got tracer bullets again! One last detail: The soldier fired one last bullet after he got hit. Cool detail!
It doesn't look like real gameplay to confirm that, but I also think that Stalker 2 won't have hitscan weapons or anything like that. But I remind you, that was a cinematic, not gameplay.
I have the distinct feeling the sniper scene during op monolith that happens during the trailer isnt striders pov, but skif's pov of the events, it seems quite clear from all the released material that skif was likely a monolith member at some point in the timeline, and this scene is clearly some sort of dream sequence replaing memories, just like strelok had in the original game, also, trailers love to misdirect by taking scenes and repurposing them with diferent audio and context to create hype and play with player or watcher expectations while not spoiling the actual events that happen, also, during it, Strider says he "saw" a body, not that he shot someone, while the scene in question shows us the shooter killing a soldier, so i suspect the trailer is somewhat playng to our expectations and knowledge to misdirect and surprise us while keeping the hype up, and that the scene is in fact skif dreaming of his actions during operation monolith.
I think what is actually going on with Strider's face is that, those arent actually tears and etc... But the borderline permanent physical psy damage done him like we see with zombies and monolithians alike, although one possible post-brainwash freedom thing is that the eyes arent opaque anymore.
I speculate that in Strider's scene, the trailer possibly shows two outcomes of his conversation with Skif. Perhaps, due to multiple dialog choices? In one outcome, Strider leaves, Skif says nothing. In the other outcome, Strider leaves laughing with Skif saying that he's sorry.
IDK. My first impression of the trailer is that Skif and Strider served together in the army/forces (puppets). Before Strider became monolith. That's the missing piece to the puzzle that Korshynov is trying to solve. (Maybe they protected CERKA?) Skif chooses differently from Strider, who gives Skif the empty shell, which points out that Skif is still a puppet.
I feel like there is an inconsistency with Strider's flashback. He mentions that he's lost his connection to the Monolith ( C-Consciousness ) during the Monolith vs Military fighting at the end of Shadow of Chernobyl. But that wouldn't be possible because: 1. If the connection was severed when Strelok deactivated the Brain-Scorcher, the Military wasn't in Pripyat or CNPP at that time. So operation Monolith didn't begin yet. 2. If the connection was severed when Strelok killed every scientist in the C-Con room, the super-emission that happens at the end of Shadow of Chernobyl already ended the Military's presence in the CNPP area. One possible explanation is they probably retconned the super-emission and the Military was actually still fighting the Monolith during the entire time Strelok was inside the CNPP searching for the code-locked door and on the roof jumping around teleport anomalies.
I'm glad you're looking into the meaning of the mark. In the stable_dialogs_aes of build 2571 it has the following dialogue. "What does the tattoo S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mean?" "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - it's one of the traps designed to keep our project in secret. It translates to Statsionarny Takticheskiy Anigilyator Lichnosti prof. Kaymanova Emkostnoy Razgruzki." Roughly translated - 'Stationary tactical personality destroyer Prof. Kamanova Capacitive unloading'. The enigmatic Professor Kaymanov has yet to be revealed. A brilliant mind, perhaps more so than Sakharov, but twisted. Well done again!
I got theory that the blind guy which has this stone around his neck, that is fragment from the Monolith stone so when he was idk stoling the monolith stone with is very bright may blind him so that's why he is the leader of people witch still follow monolith.
It maybe a crazy idea, but I have one. What if the end of the Monolith conflict will spawn Sin? As in the canon, Sin will mainly comprised from even more crazed Monolith soldiers, who couldn't handle the Monolith going silent and it drove them into a different kind of madness? I mean, put your shoes in a random Monolith soldier. You may have heard orders from your God for years, but one day, while you fight, he goes silent. No matter how hard you try to contact him, he never responds. You have two options. Realise that you have been quite literally brainwashed, or succumb into despair.
@@anomalousdugout9557I mean, Sin is supposed to worship the Zone, or at least think that it's a Divine thing. So why can't it be started by people who already believe that the Zone is a Divine creation? But yeah. We'll see.
17:38 I believe this camouflage was inspired by the "Dubok" camouflage, which was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces until 2014, the new version in STALKER 2 is reminiscent of the "Mavka" camouflage of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which lost the tender to Pixel UAF
A few things I think I can add, not really ground breaking but still cool. so Strider's Good-luck charm appears to be a 7.62x54r round which is the same used in the SVD. also there are a few accounts of RPGs being used against aircraft, particularly helicopter. And personally I think Korshunov was using the ak as an analogy for his operation, and possibly accusing skiff of something as after it's field stripped he gives it to skiff to reassemble. but that's just a theory.
I am pretty sure Strider's story is not from the brain scorcher coming down. It if when Strelok finds the C-consciousness machine under the CNPP and destroys it. That is why the Monolith soldiers are all funky in CoP. Destroying the C-counciousness cuts the link, in the middle of the fight with the army.
It's only in recent years that I went online to learn about Stalker lore. Two things, I didn't know for at least a dozen years despite buying all the games upon release... 1) The existence of Strider as I never came across him despite having played Call of Pripyat at least 3 times and doing most side quests. 2) I never knew about the good ending with the C-Consciousness. I played Shadow of Chernobyl at least 4 times and never found it. For me, the game always ended with the Wish Granter. I had once watched a video and learned of it but still couldn't find it as I refused to spoil it's location and continued to look... It wasn't until Anomaly, that I ever knew about that entire section of the game...
Great breakdown. I'm so happy that STALKER 2 seems to be going really hard on delivering a compelling story on top of the usual STALKER gameplay. I really like the idea of the remnants of Monolith splintering into different ideological factions.
One thing that i really love is the armor design they look soo good i can't wait to see the duty ones!! Also i really hope they learned something from the anomaly mod that could be implemented gameplay wise .
Definitely interesting, any chance to play my favourite faction and even possibly restore it I will take in a heart beat. The C-Con may be dead, but who is to say the Zone itself wouldn't take these lost guardians under its wing to protect its heart, maybe even a true wish granter anomaly.
Tbh. although it is possible he choose to be brainwashed puppet like Strider said, but this sentence can be taken many ways. As an example: He can mean a puppet for SIRCAA because as an Stalker its easy money he is offered for his dirty work, he willingly is a puppet for Dalin who kinda felt radical. Also the meaning of being a puppet to the zone, forced to be loner, many choose that life, being used by traders like Strelok and Scar. Also that the zone allows only certain acces to it which is a from of being a puppet to the same cycle. Another possibilty is being part of one of many factions, being a puppet to the Lifestyle and believe of it. There are so many ways to use that sentence, surely skif being monolith seems hardcore but the sentence is so powerful that alot of meanings can be pulled out of it.
@@anomalousdugout9557 i must admit a detail what makes the SIRCAA theory little bit more stick is as mentioned in the Video it looked like Skif wears a Bulat suit, which means it could back up the sentence Strider gives to Skif, my speculation is: THIS might be one of many possible path and dialogs that can happen depending on what path you go as Skif. This add's up with the statement that player action's have consequezes, and i feel this is a path where you already interacted with Strider, because of another Story quest or something what explains why he talks like to Skif how he already mentioned to him his "Good luck" charm, they already interacted and this cutscene might be a path where you side alot with SIRCAA, alot of focus is put into the trailer showing SIRCAA and the oppisite side which could be Strider's group or the remnants of the Monolith itself. Also the laugh from Strider might be desperation, frustation or desbelieve that Skif is actually sorry, and in the end no matter what Skif does in the end Strider backs down and but his charm and trust into Skif. Sorry if text is long i put alot thought into the behaivor and details present, Strider shows alot emotion; frustration possibly disappointment on how the outcones have turned now and what Skif is doing, especially how he interacts with Skif as if they had already small history of backing up each other Story quest.
3:10 Puzzle might be an indirect qestion to Skiff why he has connections to certain people for example the scientists or (other - the government man perhaps from this trailer) The leader might be mad after trusting Skiff and finding out that Skiff hid a part of his past from him. Every good soldier should be able to field strip his gun XD (he forgot to pull out the bolt from the bolt assembly)
I'm so happy to rewatch these videos anticipating the release... I really love how story & character-driven Stalker 2 is shaping up to be. I hope that the early questing areas really dive into the lives of the average loner & what it's like to be a lone, zone scrapper in a world with Ward, Mutants & anomalies.
I feel like a lot of the best story elements of the OG trilogy were smothered in text boxes rarely read by the average player. The cinematic nature of these conversations really sell the depth of human emotion & relationships in the Zone.
The scene in the CIRCAA facility makes me think there might be some scenes that take place outside the Zone. Ive always thought it would be cool to see parts of a stalkers life outside the zone, perhaps a meeting in a Stalker Bar in a nearby town making preperations to sneak through the cordon or smuggle gear in like the scene from the Andrei Tarkovsky Stalker film.
Skiff’s sleeve looks too familiar to flecktarn, which freedom wears. My source is that I own flecktarn and have had so many similar POVs of that which skiff saw in the clip.
2:41 The puzzle is unlikely to refer to anomalies, the language that Korshunov uses sounds like an interrogation of the motive and means behind a crime and the tone of voice of "maybe YOU can figure it out" while throwing the gun receiver seems like an accusation, perhaps of doing something with that exact gun. If your sleeper agent theory is correct, that would make a lot of sense as Skif's behavior may be contradictory between the surface personality and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. programming - making it hard to narrow down how Skif wound up in a certain situation - i.e. where Doc found him and appears to be mourning. And who was the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sent to kill? Perhaps this time the mission was a success...
Love your theories man.I just can't stop listening to them! One thing you forgot to mention and i have theory about is the objective of the SIRCAA faction.Dalin said they want to harness the anomalous energy. So maybe the topaz device is their creation and they use it to harness the energy from anamalies. Also that was great final song in the video.I know "sleeping in ashes" soundtrack was playing in Agroprom night in SoC but i always thought it feels like an ending of something and then the beginning of something else!Don't you think?
I think Strider`s body armor is inspired by the Soviet 6b1 body armor. Apparently the designer took as an example a photo from the time of the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan, where a soldier in 6b1 put on a “Poyas-A” unloading vest on his body armor. Korshunov's armor is inspired by the Russian Fort Defender body armor for concealed wear for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ministry of Internal Affairs) troops. The developers moved the side armor that was attached to the stomach to the shoulders I left links in the comments but they deleted my comment(
i'm so damn hyped!! when i saw that the notification from stalker discord was an actual trailer i was so pleasantly surprised. and the trailer itself is so good and atmospheric, and come on, strider is back! thanks for the analysis, i really needed it
Thank you for such an informative video👍 it's just a little bit before the game is released and we will return to the atmosphere of the exclusion zone🔥🔥🔥
The AK 74. Love that Scene. Basically, he's implying that his "puzzle" is like a gun. intricate parts woven together to make a working rifle. And he Wants Skiff to put the pieces together.
They could've very easily ignored the story and love of the previous games as they all had a very "Use your imagination to make your own conclusion" story. So I really like how they chose to build on the old lore. And so far it seems like they're doing a great job, especially with the mystery and the classic and almost cosmic horror that stalker always had.
@@anomalousdugout9557 Agreed. Would not want em to go away. They are my favorite non-sensible faction of all time. Compared to all the other groups who are more sensible within the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. Especially compared to different games factions like from Fallout. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s has to be some of the best and logical. Though its nice to have the 1 crazy faction that is super lore heavy instead of having 20 crazy factions that are lore heavy that are just 50 shades of grey.
@@epiccanadianman5851honestly I agree. And I hope that even if Monolith ends, something else will rise from it's ashes. Maybe Sin, since I think it would be a cool way to add a cut faction back into the game.
I've seen more than a few doomer-generation players dismayed and confused by this trailer, because it's "COD-ified" or some such. I'm happy to see wider context for things like Monolithians post-C-Con and the international community's reaction to things going on in the Zone, though; GSC's really digging into things I always wondered about but couldn't find much explanation for when playing these games back in the day.
The Monolithians that are still staying true to the Monolith remind me of Ukrainians that still fondly look back at the Soviet Union and Russia. They got released from their "sinister bliss" of that system, but were they asking for it? Meanwhile the Monolithians that are going their own way are Ukrainians who look to the future and value independence. "Their god was turned off" can mean that the Soviet Union fell apart. "Hundreds were released from sinister bliss" just like tens of millions were released from the sinister bliss of the USSR. "But how many of them were asking for it?"
I know that I'm commenting again, but I wonder. Will snorks return to the game? I mean, with the technological improvement, I think they could be made even creepier as they display even a higher level of agility, easily climbing obstacles and could ambush you from high places such as hidden corners of a X-lab. An another thing I wonder is will be any women in the Zone? They don't need to be fighters per say, but more like scientists, doctors, and maybe some of them (un)willingly offering their bodies to stalkers. I mean, I get it, for the last one, it's VERY easy to mess up, even unintenonally, and people will be pissy about depicting crimes where the victim is more than likely alive after the horrible events, even if so traumatised that they can't cope with it, even if otherwise it's a depicted as a horrible thing without any pandering, fetishization, or making light of the situation. On a related note, I wonder about how mutans reproduce if at all. I mean, we know that Bloodsuckers return, which asks the question of how are they managing to keep their numbers up, if we assume that there's no thousands if not millions or billions of Bloodsuckers somewhere and they get sent into Ukraine. And besides, I'm curious about what happens if a child is born in the Zone. Will they be a normal, healthy child, or will they develop weird mutations due to the fact that reality doesn't feel like it wants to obey it's own rules there.
I was thinking, do you remember the trailer from 2 years ago? The stranger on the roof of the Chernobyl plant who asks us if he suffered.... Isn't he referring to the strider murders? Maybe we are asked to assassinate him
Literally CoP is the embodiment of story arc's, you make choices and in the end it matters on what happened with it, this is a good thing the lorr is already amazing on top of the game as a medium for immersive narration. I wonder why some people would say Having stalker story oriented is a bad thing

Great vid anomalous. I think the puzzle is something to do with the CC and the monolith crystal. What if it is somehow still present and skif has to kill the CC once and for all.

Maybe skif is about to under go the brainwashing to try and become a monolith and strider who was/has become a good friend is wishing him good luck with his shell casing and is crying because he doesnt want him to do it. Skif chose to do to do it so maybe thats where that line i didnt choose to is coming from
Korsunovs gun puzzle could be simply alluding to the point, that something is wrong with reality itself in the Zone. Gun parts he gets from outside of the Zone simply does not fit perfectly into the guns that were in the Zone for some time. That is why he is disassembling the gun. That is why he is tossing it to us ,the player, who simply thought he knew better. That is why that AK seems to be in bad condition. Perhaps Zone is warping things inside of it. Slightly altering dimensions, so perfectly machined parts just do not fit together. It could be just a simple explanation why guns in the Zone are usually... Well, damaged and broken crap.
Iirc the idea of the c con was to unite hunanity and put an end to all the negatives of humanity, like war. For some people that may have been ideal and wouls want to resurrect and continue what the c con and monolith were doing to, in their eyes, save humanity.
Can I just point out about the helicopter hit with the rpg, this is not as unlikely as you make it seem, this happened multiple times in Afghanistan as well as Mogadishu without the help of C-consciousness.

So Skif is ex Monolith? It will be interesting. This trailer was better, it told more about the story. You know, I was really looking forward to Starfield and in the end I got crap and not a good story. I hope this will not be the case.
@@anomalousdugout9557 I mean, it could've been something more along the lines of Skiff being a mercenary and never being a Monolith soldier. They could have known each other before Strider became a Monolith soldier, and Strider's remark of how Skiff chose to become a puppet may imply (to me at least) that they were Loners when they knew each other. I mean, why else would Strider explain how it felt to disconnect from the Monolith? If they were both Monolith, Skiff might have experienced a similar thing, and we would've seen Skiff too in CoP.

Yes, that's right.
In the PC Gamer article back in 2021, Sergei Grigorovich say's you can join the monolith faction, so i think its the choice of the player how the story goes through the game.
For me, I'm really happy that GSC is expanding the story so much.
Oh man i can not wait for the release :)
It was written that you will be able to side with factions. We don't really know if that means being able to join.
Yes, that could very well be the case.
That's a nice theory!
@@anomalousdugout9557 one cool stalker book series called "Лунь" has couple of interesting plot details:
a c-con-like character that lives in alternate reality and controls monolith from there but i doubt c-con could do something like this, they still needed physical body and all those labs and generators.
there was another banger of a plot idea - Monolith is actually a real rock that has always been there underground with properties that grant mind control.
Faust be gangsta til it's revealed that it's just Doctor Kontroler messing with him
A small detail on 12:25, there could potentially be realistic bullet travel in S2. The sight was aimed just below the head at the time of firing, but the impact was higher on the head. In the Stalker trilogy the travel was always linear, but actual projectiles travel parabolically.
Edit:
On closer analysis, it hit right of point of aim, just behind the shoulder. Seems the vertical zero is correct, the windage is off just slightly. But I'm not an expert on this. At least we got tracer bullets again!
One last detail: The soldier fired one last bullet after he got hit. Cool detail!
Yes, maybe there will be.
Depends on the zero, but physically, a bullet starts dropping the instant it leaves the barrel.
It doesn't look like real gameplay to confirm that, but I also think that Stalker 2 won't have hitscan weapons or anything like that. But I remind you, that was a cinematic, not gameplay.
@@ronaldbenz_ that's why I said "potentially"
In vanilla games the bullets travel parabolically. Mods often disable it though.
If it is Skif POV then why is Strider talking about seeing body of unknown soldier fall trough his scope, as trailer shows exactly that
Maybe but I don't think so.
I think what is actually going on with Strider's face is that, those arent actually tears and etc... But the borderline permanent physical psy damage done him like we see with zombies and monolithians alike, although one possible post-brainwash freedom thing is that the eyes arent opaque anymore.
Perhaps this is correct, we'll see.
Love your content! I was excited to see Strider come back in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2! Your previous prediction was spot on!!
Thanks!
Yes, that's certainly possible.
Could be the case, we'll see.
@@anomalousdugout9557I like your theory better. That's why you're making videos, and I am not :)
I feel like there is an inconsistency with Strider's flashback.
He mentions that he's lost his connection to the Monolith ( C-Consciousness ) during the Monolith vs Military fighting at the end of Shadow of Chernobyl.
But that wouldn't be possible because:
Yes, I know about this problem. I am keeping this topic in store for the next podcast episode.
the GOAT of analysis'
:)
Yes, I often thought about who Kaymanov might have been. Thanks.
I got theory that the blind guy which has this stone around his neck, that is fragment from the Monolith stone so when he was idk stoling the monolith stone with is very bright may blind him so that's why he is the leader of people witch still follow monolith.
Yes perhaps.
Interesting idea, we'll see what happens.
Interesting, thanks.
I'm excited to see the Monolith playing a bigger role here.
Yes, good findings!
I hope we will se chratchers like zulu, vano, wolf, yoga, noah, and other legendary stalkers like barkeep and sido
Or scar himself..
We'll probably see some of them.
@@SamueleBianchi-i7f eh that last one's pretty dead
I am pretty sure Strider's story is not from the brain scorcher coming down. It if when Strelok finds the C-consciousness machine under the CNPP and destroys it. That is why the Monolith soldiers are all funky in CoP. Destroying the C-counciousness cuts the link, in the middle of the fight with the army.
There are certainly some inconsistencies with this scene. However, the emission ended the Military attack before Strelok found the C-Consciousness.
It wasn't until Anomaly, that I ever knew about that entire section of the game...
tnx 4 uploading this man. i expect a 1 hr. in-depth analysis of the strider trailer, but 30 mins. would also be good too.
I have more things to say but TGA is coming and I'm also keeping some topics for a new podcast episode.
Great breakdown. I'm so happy that STALKER 2 seems to be going really hard on delivering a compelling story on top of the usual STALKER gameplay. I really like the idea of the remnants of Monolith splintering into different ideological factions.
Yes, I have a feeling the story aspects will be great.
One thing that i really love is the armor design they look soo good i can't wait to see the duty ones!! Also i really hope they learned something from the anomaly mod that could be implemented gameplay wise .
Suits are looking good indeed.
very niche detail: the round is 7.62x54mmR, the round for the Mosin Nagant, SVT-40, and Dragunov. It also looks unspent as the primer isn't struck
Always a good day when Anomalous uploads 😎
I think so.
Definitely interesting, any chance to play my favourite faction and even possibly restore it I will take in a heart beat. The C-Con may be dead, but who is to say the Zone itself wouldn't take these lost guardians under its wing to protect its heart, maybe even a true wish granter anomaly.
Yes, I think the Monolith fans will not be disappointed.
Tbh. although it is possible he choose to be brainwashed puppet like Strider said, but this sentence can be taken many ways.
Yes, it's all theories and speculation of course.
@@anomalousdugout9557 i must admit a detail what makes the SIRCAA theory little bit more stick is as mentioned in the Video it looked like Skif wears a Bulat suit, which means it could back up the sentence Strider gives to Skif, my speculation is:
THIS might be one of many possible path and dialogs that can happen depending on what path you go as Skif.
Yeah maybe.
CIRCAA is located in the Zone itself, but on its outskirts, where it is safest.
I think the Institute will be at the edge of the Zone.
Yes, the TOPAZ will have a role to play in this for sure. Also I agree with the way you see "Sleeping in Ashes".
My man opening a lot of doors for theory-crafting. Dig it.
Of course!
The developers moved the side armor that was attached to the stomach to the shoulders
I left links in the comments but they deleted my comment(

The AK 74. Love that Scene. Basically, he's implying that his "puzzle" is like a gun. intricate parts woven together to make a working rifle. And he Wants Skiff to put the pieces together.
I love your analysys videos, you are trully a stalker fan
Nice, thanks.
I wonder if one of the endings will be a possible mega blowout which makes a large part of the world part of the zone.
Possibly yes.
I think one of the endings of Oblivion Lost is like that.
@@flaviucrisan4490 Yes.
Nice theories, man!
Thank you.
That blind guy reminds me what happens to strelok in one of the game endings
They could've very easily ignored the story and love of the previous games as they all had a very "Use your imagination to make your own conclusion" story.
So I really like how they chose to build on the old lore. And so far it seems like they're doing a great job, especially with the mystery and the classic and almost cosmic horror that stalker always had.
Its so nice know that our stalker journey will go on 🔥
Been waiting for this video! Can't wait to see what I missed lol

16:21 in the canceled stalker 2 (2011) where was the territory of SICAZ? you can find art of the building and scientists on the net.
I'm pretty sure it was in the most Southern part of the Zone.
15.2 might be the release date of s2, 15.02.2024
Maybe it is.
lets hope for the Nimble trailer next
Maybe it will happen.
Ok man now we need to see you 1v1 Matpat in stalker lore
As a monolith fan. If there is truly a Civil war type deal. Its Mon-over. :C
At least the faction is still around after all those years.
Maybe Sin, since I think it would be a cool way to add a cut faction back into the game.
monolit ne lyublat(((
I've seen more than a few doomer-generation players dismayed and confused by this trailer, because it's "COD-ified" or some such.
If im thinking realistically Strider is the 2nd main leader of the Monolith
Maybe who knows.
Maybe we are asked to assassinate him
I remember. Maybe that's what it is.
Literally CoP is the embodiment of story arc's, you make choices and in the end it matters on what happened with it, this is a good thing the lorr is already amazing on top of the game as a medium for immersive narration.
I wonder why some people would say Having stalker story oriented is a bad thing
Yes, I don't know why.
Those people don't care about the story at all, they just want to shoot... I suggested them to go back to CoD

I like the cutscenes and exposition I just hope it isn’t heavy, it should be mostly in-world dialogue like the OG. I’m praying to high heaven they don’t go too heavy on the call of duty. I hope they’ve been watching what anomaly has become
Don't worry it will be well integrated.
Is Korshunov's English VA the guy from Arma? Nice overlap
Interesting that they’d have Grozas but only what looks to be PG-7Vs (first generation round) for the RPG-7

Skif chose to do to do it so maybe thats where that line i didnt choose to is coming from
22:51 O velikiy monolit, gde ty?
Maybe, I don't know.
Iirc the idea of the c con was to unite hunanity and put an end to all the negatives of humanity, like war. For some people that may have been ideal and wouls want to resurrect and continue what the c con and monolith were doing to, in their eyes, save humanity.
If they were not lying, that is.

Yes but if you look closely you will realize it is not him.
Can I just point out about the helicopter hit with the rpg, this is not as unlikely as you make it seem, this happened multiple times in Afghanistan as well as Mogadishu without the help of C-consciousness.

I sure wish we had the Russian language or accents like the original stalker triology. We had no choice and that was good. but it feels like far cry to me.

So Skif is ex Monolith? It will be interesting. This trailer was better, it told more about the story. You know, I was really looking forward to Starfield and in the end I got crap and not a good story. I hope this will not be the case.
Sounds like it but we don't know for sure.
