My best guess due to the lack of a lever action, pump action, or foregrip, coupled with what appears to be a pistol grip its either a Benelli M4 with or some random semi auto hunting shotgun without a foregrip, its a weird one for sure but saving that extra few ounces of weight on the front could be useful in the zone...maybe. Edit, took another look and saw the stock, its definitely as best I can tell, a Benelli M4 or M2 that's been HEAVILY modified and stripped of the sights, rail, foregrip and basically everything else not needed for the gun to go bang, most likely to save weight. It's been a month so you might not read it, but that is my theory about the topaz. First of all, why the hell did they drive out in a blowout with sensible tech, they could have picked any other time to visit that giant arch anomaly. Maybe some anomalies are only available under certain extreme conditions only existing at that place during a blowout. It is already known that anomalies follow certain patterns and conditions. Like electros forming near metal structures and electrical devices or burners being at temperature Hotspots. Maybe the topaz records or saves those local conditions and swirling energies during a blowout and then you can reactivate those conditions and energies again at that place with the topaz. Having a need for you to venture out during or right before emissions, giving them more use then changing the zone and having you drop everything and haul ass to a secure location.

There is nothing you can hide from him! The details, the monolith machine seen for 1/10th of a second before being kicked.. the flower in the depot... Nothing can be hidden! Amazing work Anomalous. 46 minutes of "what!?" in surprised reactions.
Some more details and theories I think worth noting: 1. At 35:08 in the Poppy Field Anomaly we can see in the distance what appears to be a swarm of red petals that move from left to right, which means a new type of moving anomaly, like Comet or Tesla anomaly. 2. The machine at 5:20 look very much like a nucleus and rotating electrons, but it also looks like a giant eye, which resembles the Monolith logo the soldiers wear on their patches. A watchful eye, possibly, this device will be very important in the story of the game. 3. My theory is that the blind Monolith leader is attempting to rally the remaining monolith forces to him using those hand-held psy emitters. Hence the "Come To Me" but it is a very far-fetched theory. 4. From the character's point of view in the very first scene at 2:40 with the Monolith soldier beating everyone up, from the legs and arms we see that they are not wearing the Ward armor but instead a black suit, which resembles the suit the Mysterious Stranger from the rooftop uses. 5. At 18:30 in the trailer if we observe frame-by-frame, during the jamming animation, the ammo counter on the bottom right is not visible, it is only after Skif fires the first shot that the ammo counter appears, which means there may be a Dynamic HUD option that appears and disappears based on context.

When PC Gamer magazine was released on December 9, 2021, some well-known Russian-speaking bloggers about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. exclusive concept art's of the game and some information were provided. Them were told that the appearance of the Stranger on the roof (from the 2021 gameplay trailer) was specifically changed for the trailer so as not to spoiler the character ahead of time. Following the trailer, a new dev diary was released showing how scene on the roof was created. From the developer diaries, you can learn that the motion capture and voice acting of the Stranger on the roof was performed by actor Leonid Zakharchenko, whose face was also used for colonel Korshunov, which is clearly visible on the concept art. I assume that the Stranger on the roof was colonel Korshunov (also his manner of speech and behavior when talking is very similar to the Stranger). I hope google translator translated correctly)

That Monolith leader guy, in my opinion, could be Kharon (Харон), he was in Soc and I think he was the leader of Monolith group. He was located in Pripyat in Monolith base, he had exoskeleton suit and was equipped with VSS. The player could also assault that base of theirs and kill Kharon, though it didn't really affect anything after. Maybe he survived after Soc, who knows

The core on the disabled beacon has been taken out and is laying next to the beacon, which might be why the player hesitates shooting the monolithian: Maybe he intentionally disabled it, in addition to being unarmed, to show weakness and the player has taken this as a gesture of friendliness.
Yeah maybe that's what it is. However, the devices we saw in Call of Pripyat had a different looking core, and was in some instances seen deactivated despite the core still being inside.
I watched on someone's video that "the Zone in our image, after our likeness" is partially a meta-reference. STALKER has been modded very diversely and as a result there are many, broadly different, "versions" of "the Zone."
The game must take part approx. 10 years after COP, the dead stalker with the old Echo detector (at 33:05) looks like he has been there quite a while, since there are only his skeletal remains left.
Regarding the riddle, it's very reminiscent of Samurai death meditation. Listing all possible ways you can die and thinking about them. Most are STALKER specific, but some of them are actually pulled from Yamamoto Tsunetomo, such as the "thrown from a cliff". No idea if that means anything, but I highly doubt it's a coincidence.
the new bolt throw animation is a much better arc for clearing a path in front of you, where before the bolts might go just over the anomaly so you'd have to throw a bunch over and over down the path you're on, rather than clearing out a line in front of you with one.
i have nothing but respect for your channel and work you do on documenting the series, all the information you document and research is a blessing to the zone comrade.
It’s so indescribably amazing to see this game come into fruition and have the franchise given AAA quality care. I love the original 3 games so much already, man. So excited to explore the new and creative ideas that the developers have brought into this one. And while I know the story is a bit overlooked with most people, I actually think it’s really intriguing and cannot wait to see what they do with all these characters and the overall plot. I enjoyed the endings to SoC as it was really deep philosophically. I really hate overhyping myself, but I have an optimistic mindset 🤞
AAA in today's standards mean usually cheap, trash and half baked games. Don't hype yourself. It kinda looks like every other unreal engine game idk how the atmosphere is gonna be it also can be that the game is gonna be to easy because of the compass for example that shows you everything. No need to explore or to look out for enemies
@@fy4370 the minimap original already show ennemies but yeah i'm not big fan of this compass i will personnaly disable it if still the same on the release
To your theory which person the Monolith leader is: the fact that he said, that he fall of a cliff can be the one mission where scar have to survive the few dogs with Vasyan in the garbage, when he shoot the dogs on the top of the rocks (Vasyan also said come on the rocks or something like that).
"Thrown off a cliff" in Clear Sky Strelok's script glitched, and he fell down, and stood in one place (this always happened to me), and Merc had to jump down, so Strelok threw him off a "cliff". :D
Great analysis! I haven't even noticed some things which you have pointed out. The theory about TOPAZ somehow influencing anomalies seems very plausible. I've heard that it was confirmed by GSC that the new currency will be Coupons. I also like how the description of GP37 is almost identical to how it was in Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky. I think that "found with the stone around his neck" alludes to method of execution by tying a stone to someone and throwing them into the water, not to a necklace. Also, I wouldn't be sure that the antennas which were used to communicate with Monolithians truly went silent after the C-Consciousness was destroyed. When Major Degtyarev examined the device in the book store, he came to a conclusion that someone talks to them. And while it doesn't really fit with the fact that Monolithians mourn about the Monolith leaving and not hearing them, maybe it can be somehow explained - when the Monolith device was still active, they possibly could hear it all the time. When Marked One disabled it, they lost their connection with it, but someone still could give them orders when needed. As for the Strider - it's possible that he and his squad got freed from the brainwashing not because they lost their connection with the Monolith, but because the Brain Scorcher was disabled by Marked One. There is a theory that Monolithians need to stay in the area of psi-emitters to remain in their brainwashed state, and that the Monolith device itself was not needed for that. Monolith troops in Pripyat could still be under the influence of the devices in Pripyat (the one from kindergarten, which was jamming radio signals, was surely active). But who knows, maybe it's not like that.
Thanks. Good points you got there, there are indeed a lot of things that are not entirely known. Surely the situation will get clearer when the game comes out.
Imagine if that's the blind guy's whole point. Reactivating or as they would put it, "Re-awakening" the Monolith so that all the former Monolith fighters that other STALKERS have slowly grown to trust over the years after they were no longer showing signs of psychopathy, all of a sudden revert back to their old brainwashed versions and start attacking everyone.
As I remember the devices themselves were turned off but there was some kind of functional radio hidden in the altar that "someone" used to control the members of the monolith but through simple commands, not mind control. but I played the game for a while and in the Spanish translation
Hello from Ukraine. Very good video analysis among all youtubers 33:32 the artifact looks like a modified truck mirror. There were 2 similar modified artifacts in Call of Pripyat - Steering Wheel and Isolator. I also want to add that this place is similar to the entrance to the Bar, only now instead of a path with dogs there are a lot of anomalies
It makes sense in Stalker why so many facilities still have power. There is a still functioning nuclear power plant, and many of these (secret) facilities were built after the first disaster and with the "damaged" power plant in mind.
I think the device at 36:38 next to the emitter is the power part of the emitter. At the bottom you can see what looks like the light part of the emitter that is missing from it.
Who knows what happened to Scar at the end of Clear Sky, besides the fact that he was likely hypnotized along with everyone else. I think it's likely that he very well may be the blind man. The scene with the stranger on the roof is I think after you kill the "music man" shown earlier in the trailer
I like what they're doing with artefacts. If new ones are introduced that closely resembled common objects that have been made anomalous, maybe ones we've seen already will get makeovers too.
dugout i loving your channel everything is made so good and perfectly, your vids are so entertaining, only thing is that i need more videos! i watch like 2 of your vids per day
I have a feeling the topaz device will be something we the player will have to use with certain scenarios to proceed further in the story in this clip when it activates it causes a electrical tower to fall and breaks apart of a big wall for the player to proceed through towards, maybe this device will be using multiple different types of artifacts to create anomalies 👀
I have played the original trilogy over 20 times and I never knew you could use bolts to explode electrical anomalies and run through them... it seems there's always something to learn about those games 🙃
Would it be possible that the faction that could be opposing SIRCAA and the Ward are just the Loners who united, just like we saw in Clear Sky when Father Valerian declares the war on the bandits.
1 day ago I was talking to someone about where Doctor's dog is since he doesn't bring him to agroprom underground in Both SOC and this trailer and he somehow made streloks Hideout into a medical place due to the vent behind him
I’ve seen a lot of speculation on that shotgun in the first scene (Us gun nerds are rather pedantic as you may have guessed :P), and personally I think it may be a Fort-500 shotgun, mainly due to the profile of the barrel and the grip, also it seems that some of the guns chosen are due to their Ukrainian origin such as for example the Malyuk, and the Fort-500 would fit due to it being a Ukrainian shotgun. As for the missing hit indicators you noticed in the Pripyat Shootout section, it seems that GSC is perhaps taking a few cues from Escape From Tarkov which also forgoes hit indicators. This is mainly aimed at headphone users since in that game the ballistic audio is good enough to determine the direction of incoming fire, hopefully the audio in STALKER 2 is good enough to allow for this, or it should at least have the option to turn on hit indicators. P.S: Don’t let us internet gun goblins stop you from making speculation about the guns, you got most of them right and your video was awesome!
Another great video! Thank you for all the videos you make. I recently found your channel after starting Stalker Gamma because I wanted to learn more of the Lore in the Stalker Universe and man am I glad I found your channel. Theres so many great videos on here of the Lore in this Stalker Universe. Please keep making more of them! Would love to see some more videos on each other factions of Stalker. I know you did a couple of them but not sure if you did every faction or not.
During the final scene I believe the object lying in front of that device is actually neon bulbs / the core of that device, just ripped out. He may have done this himself to stop the Monolith from controlling him, or possibly because Skif stopped the Monolith and this guy stopped hearing it, leading him to rip out the core of the device in frustration.
Thank's for the video.. About the shotgun in the opening scene ... I believe its a Winchester 1300 or Mossberg M3 (they are pratically identical) but in the game its the verssion without a stock.
fore those who are more versed in theological and mythological subjects, the term "Noosphere" is what the science-fiction community attributes to what can otherwise be called "The Akashic Records"
The Noosphere is not just a science-fiction term, but an actual philosophical concept from the 20th century. The Stalker Noosphere concept is near-identical to the irl concept; an informational field, surrounding the planet, that was created by and affected by biological cognizance (human minds), with the noosphere being an evolution from the biosphere. The Akashic records are a related concept, but there are differences between the two.
Ok, this amazing work made me think of a few things: 1. If electricity is less present in the zone underground, my theory that it was RTG plant or even small autonomous reactors furnishing electricity to the lab could be true... after 10 years most of the fissile material inside a reactor would have reacted and there will not be any chain reaction anymore and for RTG their nuclear components will have decayed enough to produce nearly/not enough power to power the labs... 2. If we see more "everyday life" object being changed by the Zone, it could be like in Roadside Picnic (which is still one of the game source of inspiration). 3 I have some problems with your theory about the Monolithians. In the first three games, Monolitthians are portrayed as brainwashed, nearly zombified fanatics which can barely even talk, just enoughto pray. I imagine that it should be quitte difficult for them to speak normally back again as we see with Strider's group who still talk in small and quick phrase. However it could be explained because the Monolith has been far from them for at least 5 or 10 years (based on your estimations)... The other problem I have is that I don't really remember Monolithians willing to talk... like they are fanatics, if someone want to leave them they are likely to shoot him before even talking... but it can be explained from a lack of recruits... even though I think this behavior quite strange from the Monolithians... and to finish 4. We still haven't see Duty or Freedom in the game... we have seen their models but never, that I remember, in the trailer... I think they have quite a lot of importance, even more for the old S.T.A.L.K.E.R enjoyer... To finish, I say it again, excellent work brother. The Holy Monolith is pleased. I hope to see you back as soon as possible!
17:35, i think its not just a stash, its a personal stash like in CoP, with release of new screenshots, i think we got an icon of a normal stash, it looks similiar to trilogy
I think, the part by the psy-device shown in front of the man in a chair, is actually the inside part. Diameter and shape matches perfectly. Deactivated and partially disassembled.
For the pripyat shootout, there doesn't seem to be a damage indicator, but the enemy direction indicator does show the enemy, my guess is that the compass will be the direction indicator.
Watched this twice today before work, so happy to see another upload. This video goes HARD man, really nice editing, perfect analysis. Can't wait to get dirty in Chernobyl again
21:57 Well if you had played CoD modern warfare 2019, you will know an item called "Stim shot" is present. Its uses as a healing and speed boosting in the game Maybe stalker 2 added stim pack or stimshot, it allows the player to quickly heal and prevent bleeding.
That prophet guy reminds me a bit of Joshua Graham from FNV Honest Hearts. It’s the religious context and the whole “thrown of the cliff” thing that does it for me. Not really saying anything important but just making an observation
An "Introduction to stalker" video might do well. I know several friends who are only getting into stalker now. Trying to get some to play the other games but I know some who only want to play stalker2. Having a basic video to pass around would help and also help grow your channel.

Most are STALKER specific, but some of them are actually pulled from Yamamoto Tsunetomo, such as the "thrown from a cliff". No idea if that means anything, but I highly doubt it's a coincidence.
Alright I did not know that, thanks for the info.
the new bolt throw animation is a much better arc for clearing a path in front of you, where before the bolts might go just over the anomaly so you'd have to throw a bunch over and over down the path you're on, rather than clearing out a line in front of you with one.
this was an incredible analysis. 46 minutes of pure content. Epic
Thanks!
i have nothing but respect for your channel and work you do on documenting the series, all the information you document and research is a blessing to the zone comrade.
You are the best at doing these
Thanks.
Yes, I kinda feel the same way. Thanks for the comments!
@@fy4370 3 original stalker games had a minimap with enemy locations on it but I suppose most people either just forget or didn’t even play 🙄
@@fy4370 the minimap original already show ennemies but yeah i'm not big fan of this compass i will personnaly disable it if still the same on the release
"AAA quality"
Dang, no need to trash talk them that much lol.
To your theory which person the Monolith leader is: the fact that he said, that he fall of a cliff can be the one mission where scar have to survive the few dogs with Vasyan in the garbage, when he shoot the dogs on the top of the rocks (Vasyan also said come on the rocks or something like that).
30:00 if you look at the top left corner you can see mouse controll
Yes.
18:11 if you pay attention to the health bar whilst Skif is walking to the doorway (and unjamming his gun), you can see the bar regenerate, that's all
Probably drug effect before entering.
Well spotted.
"Thrown off a cliff" in Clear Sky Strelok's script glitched, and he fell down, and stood in one place (this always happened to me), and Merc had to jump down, so Strelok threw him off a "cliff". :D
Ahah yes it's a well known bug, or should I say an anomaly.
Very good video analysis among all youtubers
33:32 the artifact looks like a modified truck mirror. There were 2 similar modified artifacts in Call of Pripyat - Steering Wheel and Isolator. I also want to add that this place is similar to the entrance to the Bar, only now instead of a path with dogs there are a lot of anomalies
Thanks for the info :)
glad you talked about the trailer and did some things related to it
I did it because I felt other videos did not go in-depth enough.
@@anomalousdugout9557 true that
Very detailed analysis, some things you show i haven't noticed. And some of your ideas make sense... about the final scene and the topaz device.
Thank you.
It makes sense in Stalker why so many facilities still have power. There is a still functioning nuclear power plant, and many of these (secret) facilities were built after the first disaster and with the "damaged" power plant in mind.
I miss the slavic accents. The British vibes they're going for just doesn't hit as hard as it used to in the older games.
You'll be able to play the game in Ukrainian.
I was just wondering when were you going to post this video.
I post when it is ready :)
@@anomalousdugout9557 I think that the man with a stone around his neck might be Charon who somehow survived.
@@lebedev7153 Yes, I also thought of this.
OMG, I knew you would do this video :)
I had to.
@ 39:14 that guy on the right honestly looks like Strider, I wouldn't be surprised it that was him.
Yes.
The shotgun seems to be identical to the SPAS-12 as far as I can tell.
I don't really think so, but who knows.
it's a TOZ 194
I like what they're doing with artefacts. If new ones are introduced that closely resembled common objects that have been made anomalous, maybe ones we've seen already will get makeovers too.
dugout i loving your channel everything is made so good and perfectly, your vids are so entertaining, only thing is that i need more videos! i watch like 2 of your vids per day
Thanks! I wish I could make more videos but I'm doing what I can.
34:30 The ost sounds fantastic
Yes.
Dugout indeed, as he dug out all the things in the video like a true digger. Amazing video!!
Yes!
Would it be possible that the faction that could be opposing SIRCAA and the Ward are just the Loners who united, just like we saw in Clear Sky when Father Valerian declares the war on the bandits.
1 day ago I was talking to someone about where Doctor's dog is since he doesn't bring him to agroprom underground in Both SOC and this trailer and he somehow made streloks Hideout into a medical place due to the vent behind him
Yeah, who knows what happened to his dog.
Alright, thanks for sharing your info!
Nice video. A lot of details i missed
Maybe.
That new machine looks really close to the gravity drive from Event Horizon. Silent Hill 4 also had something very similar.
Alright, I have not played those.
@@anomalousdugout9557 event horizon is a space horror movie that inspired the Dead Space games. I really recommend seeing Event Horizon
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
17:35, i think its not just a stash, its a personal stash like in CoP, with release of new screenshots, i think we got an icon of a normal stash, it looks similiar to trilogy
Yes.
Good to see you posting a new video again!
And it's good to see you commenting again, thanks :)
@@anomalousdugout9557 No problem, I always love your videos since 2020.
In many novells, the anomalies could chain react to each other, even able to deflect bullets.
I really that is the case in S2.
Yeah maybe it will be the case.
everyone is wondering if strelok will be in stalker 2.
but no one is wondering if nimble will be in stalker 2
I know a lot of people who are wondering that.
Of course he will be, and he'll sure as hell rip us off again. Like, he's literally in every single one.
😂👍
17:11 We also saw a Mac-10 in one of the promo images, so SMGs will likely be a much bigger focus in HoC
Yes, of course GSC posted these screenshots right before I was about to publish the video...
I think, the part by the psy-device shown in front of the man in a chair, is actually the inside part. Diameter and shape matches perfectly.
Deactivated and partially disassembled.
Yes, could very well be the case.
Amazing video, really good job
Thanks a lot.
That cloud artifact is totally a cup
i hope we get a release date soon. i cant imagine how the people who have been waiting for stalker 2 since 2011 feel
We are all patient, we can wait a bit longer.
Your attention to detail fascinates and amazes with every minute of viewing.
Thanks you.
*sorry for googl translate*
Nice :)
Scar was thrown down a set of stairs by bandits, maybe the cliff is a metaphor for that
For the pripyat shootout, there doesn't seem to be a damage indicator, but the enemy direction indicator does show the enemy, my guess is that the compass will be the direction indicator.
Yes, but what if there are multiple enemies at the same time?
Watched this twice today before work, so happy to see another upload. This video goes HARD man, really nice editing, perfect analysis.
Can't wait to get dirty in Chernobyl again
Hey thanks!
Super vidéo, merci pour toute ces indications !
De rien :)
I just hope that we can still play as any faction we want. I want to join back to my Monolith brothers once again.
That was never a feature from the original games, so I don't expect it to be there.
i'm so fucking HYPED
i had a few fears before war, now i have just one. PLEASE NO WAR AND NO POLITICS IN STALKER 2
Amazing analysis, simply at another level.
I'm actually a bit regretful I watched it, since you may have figured out many of the main plot lines.
Thanks. Don't worry, I think this trailer only showed a fraction of what will be in the game (0.5% according to a dev).
loved it! Very very nice work! You have an eye for details my man!

Well if you had played CoD modern warfare 2019, you will know an item called "Stim shot" is present. Its uses as a healing and speed boosting in the game
Maybe stalker 2 added stim pack or stimshot, it allows the player to quickly heal and prevent bleeding.
Yeah maybe this is what it is.
think of that line like this "found with a stone around his neck, thrown off a cliff.....
I felt the same way about the bloodsucker animation but i do like that it has more movement in the animation.
Yeah.
That prophet guy reminds me a bit of Joshua Graham from FNV Honest Hearts. It’s the religious context and the whole “thrown of the cliff” thing that does it for me. Not really saying anything important but just making an observation
35:21- This anomaly evokes memories of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in my mind.
I see.
Would be cool if that guy is Scar. We get our villain protagonist now as a villain antagonist
I am pretty sure the shotgun in the beginning is a TOZ 194 shotgun
Yeah maybe.
An "Introduction to stalker" video might do well. I know several friends who are only getting into stalker now. Trying to get some to play the other games but I know some who only want to play stalker2. Having a basic video to pass around would help and also help grow your channel.
I think there are already many videos like that. There is no need to add another, I'd rather make something original.
38:20 the guy on the right looks like Strider from call of Pripyat. You might be right these are all old monolith fighters
Yes.
30:00 Look in the top left corner. I think the mouse is gone because they are using a controller.
Yes probably.
I just love the final scene
It's quite memorable indeed.
"Иди ко мне" is burnt into my brain playing Stalker: Anomaly.... at least it stops when you find the shard of the monolith, but man...
Such is life in mods.
"It cold be a bennili or winchester" What kind of STALKER are you it's a chaser-13!
Chaser is Winchester.
4:45 im guessing they'll use the old zzz for sleep; that might be just a time of day indicator.

It is very interesting to see that every stalker game has classical (nylon string) guitars in game not any modern steel string guitars.

Let's hope for that.
