  • Open wounds and cuts are very common. Most people regularly cut themselves when working with knives, sharp objects, shaving, etc. Less commonly wounds and cuts are associated with psychological conditions.
In this video, we discuss complications that can arise after a cut, a well as how to know wether or not the wound is dangerous, wether it requires stitches and wether the wound is lethal.
Three common complications are discussed in the video: Clostridium tetani and Staphylococcus aureus, as well as heavy bleeding in the wound. All three of these conditions can cause dangeruos complications and death.
Dangerous signs can often be recognized with these infections and conditions and it is very important to learn how to differentiate them in order to know how to properly proceed with therapy.

Very very useful video. I have ever seen in my hospital emergency, a patient with lower extremity wound (specially foot) goes to cellulitis/ulcer and the time to take the wound healing takes very large. For wound healing of that patient, he/she is admitted and given IV antibiotics such as inj - pipzo or inj - IVF - linozolid or ing - gentamicin etc.
However, sir your all video are very useful for me. Tanmoy from India. Thank you.

I have a wound on my leg. There's no pus or typical signs of infection (although there is heat from the area and pain out of proportion) but I just knocked it (VERY slightly) and it felt wet and when I looked the skin did what I can only describe as SLIMED off my leg, it was all layers of skin, including deep layers, but not deep enough to affect the superficial fascia or subcutaneous fat. But the skin was mushy and black. Does that sound like a soft tissue infection and could the black mushy skin that sloughed off be necrosis?

Hello Akanni Eri, the project is still under development... the project is waiting for the funding from the govt for the translation of the work. There were financial obstacles and some clients withdrew their offers. We are working on it since at least 4-5 months... As soon as resolved we will reach out to you. We received your application and as soon as we get the promised funding we will contact you.
Thats all we have so far
