Epilogue uyas kmeki, An Endless Dancing Song , the Embodiment
of Seediq Circle of Life!
Gaya祖訓的「傳承」精神（pslutuc，接），體現於賽德克祭典舞歌uyas kmeki無休無止的歌與舞之間。在「領唱－接唱」（mpgela-pslutuc）的歌唱模式中，領唱者們更輪番接力以維持歌舞不息、徹夜不斷…，貫徹了Gaya的「永恆追求」精神。在舞蹈隊形中，舞者無論牽手或不牽手都始終形成一個圓(mtribu)，更象徵著賽德克人的終極盼望－－族人畢生依循Gaya而努力，企盼當走到人生盡頭時，能通過彩虹橋(hakaw utux)進入神靈的居所。於是，代表人世間一切努力的半圓與彩虹橋的半圓終於相接(pslutuc)，形成了一個永恆的圓。
The “passing on” spirit of Gaya (pslutuc, to continue or to follow) is embodied in the endless singing and dancing which uyas kmeki is performed. Within the singing model of “cantor-follow” (mpgela-pslutuc), more than one cantor collaborating with each other to keep the music going on and on all night without stopping, fulfills the goal of eternal pursuing of Gaya. Furthermore, in its dance formation, dancers forming a circle(mtribu), whether on not hand in hand, is a symbol of Seediq eternal hope-Having lived a life according to Gaya, when coming to the end of life, Seediq people are expected to walk upon a “rainbow bridge” (hakaw utux, meaning, the bridge of spirits) into the eternal resting place that utux spirit resides. At this moment, the half circle representing the earthly efforts, meeting up the other half circle of hakaw utux, constructs a circle of eternality!
