- Join me as I unbox my special Birthday bag from Fendi. This is something very different for me and a stunning piece that I never dreamed I would ever own. However, there is a catch - a quality issue - can it be resolved?

I love the mini with the sequins and the burgundy is perfect. Great for the holiday season when sparkles and sequins would be perfect even for someone who doesn’t do ridiculous bags. Yiu have all your neutral and sensible bags. Time for some thing not so sensible! Good for you! Enjoy it.

Fab video Claire. Love love love this bag! It is a stunning colour. I think overall based on your options I would do the same. I just hope they don't keep it for ages whilst repairing. If you were not totally in love with it then obv just get a refund but I know how much you love this bag! It is totally stunning!!

Fellow burgundy lover 👋🏻. Beautiful bag. You’re right to get it fixed if you love it so much as another may have worse issues. It’s a hard game to play unless you can see them all in person to compare. Things like this happen but so long as they offer to fix it then that’s good. Hope you get it back quickly.

I watched your video this morning and was so so happy to find that you had bought the wine colored sequined Fendi baguette!!! That color is absolutely divine and my all time fav color! I cannot get this bag at this time so was thrilled to see one of my favorite UA-camrs was able to snag this beauty for me to live thru vicariously!!

It’s a beautiful bag, but yes, the sequins are such an issue for Fendi. I’m confident they’ll do a great repair, but it’s still disappointing they can’t simply get you a new one from Rome.
I thought that would have been the easy option to be honest! Its in for the repair now so here’s hoping it will come back perfect 🤞🏼I can see why you adore your sequin baguettes - they are just fabulous ☺️
I absolutely adore your new sequin baguette. I purchased the same in the fuchsia color just before Christmas. Mine did not arrive 'perfect' either but it wasn't missing any sequins. The only thing I noticed that 2 or 3 of the sequins were bent and its impossible to get the creases out of this material when they are bent but....I just loved the bag and I kept it. I was able to tuck a few of the bent sequins behind other sequins and you would absolutely never know there was any problems at all. I figured it was something that most likely will happen while I use the bag too so why return. I've taken her on a cruise and felt so special and happy each time I carried her. I can't wait to use her again. Thank you for this great video and I can't wait to see how it all works out.

Wish we had a “Harrods” in Tampa FL. We have Neiman’s and Nordstroms but neither have Fendi. Have to travel 3 hours to go to a Fendi. But maybe it’s worth it....?
That’s a shame. The other option is to find a great client advisor who can help remotely and send things to you? Although it is great to be able to go and see things in person 😊

Well I know for sure I won’t be adding one of these to my collection. Fabulous bag but that sounds like a headache. I’d take my money back.
Yep it was a difficult decision - I do know people who have got on absolutely fine with sequin baguettes, but then there are a few of us that have had issues. I still have an option for the refund if the repair doesn’t work out so we’ll see what happens 🤷🏻♀️☺️
For that much money the bag should be perfect. Looks like it can be looked at from far sitting on the shelves, otherwise it will get damaged and loose more sequins. Nightmare, I have the gold in full leather and loving it.
Will you be able to return it if more sequins fall off in the future?
My understanding of Fendi is that they will again offer repair, or if it is a reoccurring problem, they will take it back and offer a credit 🤔

Oh my gosh, that is a gorgeous bag but this is not a good reflection on Fendi's quality control. I think you should be financially recompensed for all the hassle you're going through. As this is such a considered purchase I hope you're happy with the final repair 🤞
Thanks, it is stunning 💕 Such a shame so many of these seem to have issues. I don’t expect any compensation - the top brands never seem to offer that - I do receive excellent and responsive customer service though which is so important. I could have sent the bag back at their expense but I really wanted to take it in person as to be reassured it gets to them safely. Thanks so much for watching 😊
