Awesome video it really cleared up the differences between to the two. Seems like the most important first step is always having the courage to be honest with yourself about where you're at.
As soon as I leave my house or be in a place like a restaurant, hospital or any crowded place..my whole body starts to tingle with shivers, completely zone out and faint. Also left my job just cuz I can't cope with this sensation everyday....Now when I want a job I start to overthink way too much that I can't help it. Never been to a therapist cuz I have a feeling I will faint even there. Idk what it is, depression, anxiety, panic??
I’d rather have friends tbh but i can’t make any because I can’t start a conversation or keep one so i just shut up I NEED SOCIAL SKILLS VERY MUCH LACKING THAT
Great video! I would just suggest integrating a smaller intro, it's a bit long for people trying to get to the information of the title. I really enjoy the channel SciShow Psych, if you want/ like suggestions!
I think I will be continuing my CBD treatment. I was just given CBD products from Weedborn and I feel so much better these days : D
You made this distinction really clear, thank you! Cognitive reconstruction helped me so much. :)
:)) Thank you for your continued support!
It always amazes me how many people struggle with social anxiety! It’s so crazy. Thanks for sharing :) super applicable to so many people!
Thank you for the continued support!
I'm an Introvert. I don't feel comfortable dealing with people in social environments. I prefer talking 1 on 1
Thank you so much for this important video.

And it may be the hardest part. We want to believe that we’re like everyone else, though we might not be.

Great stuff, as always. Hey, wait, did you use that Netflix joke before?
Haha I was hoping no one would catch that. I’ll give you a shout out in the next video if you can tell me which episode it was used in!

The only thing that’s been nice about the pandemic is not having to worry about social anxiety as much!
Right. And I think parents have enjoyed having their kids at home too!

Thank you for the suggestions! We’re planning a Wednesday show that’s more educational and definitely won’t have the intro. Yes, I love SciShow Psych!
