Really love this card! Got this in my paladin arena yesterday with 2 dragons. I played it at least 6 times, and always with the effect, get 3 times Onyxia and went 12-0 for the first time! One of the mvp of the deck and the day after you make a video about it!

I think one of the problems in countering aggro is that there is a health cap. Only warrior can consistently go above the 30 health cap with armor. In MTG there is no health cap and you can restore life to any imaginable number.
honestly, played dragon priest the whole day and i beat 80% of aggro warlocks and 100% of aggro shamans with my ultra coontrol dragon deck! i really didn't expect this, for the deck is really slow, but with aoe and my secret weapon (1 special priest 4-mana spell) it worked much better than i' had expected! rans 18-12, about 30 games until now.
I love this card! I've only played a couple games with it, but I've gotten Deathwing, Ysera, and Alexstrazsa from it! It might not be amazing, but it's pretty fun, which is pretty important.
I hate that the adventures have to rotate out. LOE is such an important part of the game today, Finley is needed for most control decks, Reno created its own deck archetype, Pillager is the most important card for Rogue (arguably the weakest class atm), and the list goes on. And when BRM leaves, dragon decks will be next to impossible to ladder up with.
I made two golden versions of Netherspite Historian. Getting golden Deathwing: Dragonlord and gold Twilight Guardian is common and it's an amazing feeling.
Kripp you forgot to mention that it's absolutely insane in arena if you have at least a couple dragons- one game I got a Chillmaw, Ysera and Dragonlord out; another time I just discovered a Deathwing and cleared the board
With the two drops 25 is the answer. after mulligan stage you can redraw 3. so worst case 3 non-two drops, send all back, draw 2 non two drops and one two drop.

I love this card, it helps me fix my curve. If I'm sitting on a twilight drake and dragon consort, then I will pick something that costs 8 or 7 or even another consort, because stats.
4 months in and before this card I almost never saw a dragon deck. Now (that I play against dragon decks) only my shaman deck seems to be viable. The ONLY conditon to get the (very powerful) dragon effects is if you have one dragon in your hand. Now this card shows up and let's you discover one so that you have one spare (and bc. the discover mechanic tends to favor the player there is almost no chance of having 3 bad options). Cathun Warrior/Aggro Shaman and Dragon Priest just works too well.
Dragon Paladin have gotten much better in the early game due to the two Netherspite cards, it turns the usual late game into a deck that can kill early or late depending on the hand, even out aggroed an aggro Shaman at one point
+Edric Yeo (Spartan 117) play it turn 2 as pally. Go greedy with onxyia or faerie dragon? Play ethereal as Mage. Go for removal or intellect to dig for flame waker? Discover is probably the best skill wise mechanic in HS right now.
They are starting. Main reason they dont bother with balancing gvg(Terrible set from a randomness perspective). I wonder if, at some point, we see effects with more of a choice(Compare some hs cards to, say, Magic cards. Essentially same effects, just with Magic giving a ton of more options).
In Arena if you have 3+ dragons you might as well insert this card in. I've seen both Deathwings, Onxyia, Ysera, and Nozdormu played. And you know you're always tilting if you get a Deathwing against you.
Next rotation needs more dragons? You know what else needs more dragons? Priest! You know what priest is about to be? Super op in the next rotation! Prepare your butt for op dragon priest synergy.

(yes, I am fun at parties)
This card is sick as fuck, Once I ran out of dragons in hand and can't activate my bookwyrm, then top decked this and discovered a dragon to activate the bookwyrm into killing his water elemental and getting a onyxia
yes. :D i love this card! i made somewhat midrange dragon priest and this was suposed to fetch me late game if i needed. and i was playing against yogg druid. and he was playing really slow, taking time on his turns so i took nozdormu. lost him a turn. punished by watching kripp prolly, haha.
Cards that have good effects arent supposed to have equally good stats for their mana costs, that would be stupid and frankly it is because Blizzard has done this with alot of cards, give them good stats and good effects for a more than fair mana cost. Piloted Shredder is a perfect example of this. But this card, being a 1/3 and being able to fetch a free dragon for 2 mana? Thats pretty amazing but all you see is the early trade offs and often give up by turn 3-4 if things dont go your way. These types of cards are to set up your further turns and arent used for their stats.

If you watch Kripp on 1.25x speed after a while, putting it back on normal speed makes him feel really slow.
