I’m looking to buy an 89 dodge Dakota would you say it’s a good truck to buy and can you give me some tips to look at when buying I’ve never worked on a 4 cylinder before
Will, these tips go for any car or truck. 1. watch our for rust, as its almost always never worth fixing as the cost and time. 2. ECU stuff, aka make sure it is work correctly. as these trucks are over 30 years old. 3. bushings and stuff, once again, 30 years old. Everything is fixable and actually cheap on these old 4 banger trucks. like whole head gaskset with new bolts was only $100. Enjoy the truck.
Cool truck
Thanks!

Oh and vacuum lines, they all will break over age and heat. so you have to replace them
@@z32_workshop52 thanks for the info I’ve worked on vehicles a lot and just want something that won’t be a whole lot of work
