Do you have a crank angle sensor for a 1990 model?

Glad the video helped out.
Hey man I know some of these videos are older…do you have any parts of the body of the parts car left?

do u sell the weatherstrip?
Sorry I do not. Although i am very very happy i had the foresight and bought the a set before they went NLA -No Longer Available. Good luck on your search as they are hard to find and expensive.
DUDE! This was painful to watch, but thank you so much for posting it! If I had done it, it would be restricted to an adult audience due to the language I'd be using! I'm in the process of upgrading the suspension in my '96 convertible, and dismantling the interior is exactly what I had questions about! Thanks again!
Yeah its a long video, but no one shows you how to do it, so i thought i would help everyone out and film it. Also, glad its helping you out.
@@z32_workshop52 Absolutely! Thank you so much! I just meant it was painful because I've struggled with seemingly simple repairs that end up taking all day.
I have a quick question I like your channel but all the J 30 swap to Z 32 on the intake camp gears there is no spring for the J 30. Should I put the springs on there on the cams?
@zekeloynab8335 the vg30de in the j30 is the same as the 300zx. So if it's got the VCT gears on the intake than it needs a spring. 1989-95. Only the 96 on up was different for emissions aka ob2 and they got rid of the VCT
@ The engine that I’m using is out of a 97J 30 and did not have the springs so just use those gears without the springs
Also my solenoids do not have the wires
@@zekeloynab8335 yeah, that engine will not have the VCT, springs, as they removed it.
What do you think I should do.
Same issue with mine today. About 2 months ago the right one stopped working. Hmm ok I used the left one. Today the left went out. Bought the same one you have and will be installing tomorrow morning. I will add my PCM is just starting to act up I think. On Halloween the windows wouldn't go down. Haven't had a flare up since. Nice theory! I think your right
@tylerc7037 yeah dumping washer fluid on the engine and pcm can not be good for them.
dear bro.. do u sell the oil pump but for dett? i would like to buy..
Sorry I have scrapped this oil pump. As I did not want to sell someone a pump that had a bunch of metal go through it.
or any oil pump which similar to our dett? what i heard z31 is resemble with z32's oil pump
its hard to find.. plus its pricey

@@AzZee-p1s did you check Z1 or CZP
Z32 tt Does this size fit my car exactly? front 18x9 +35 rear 18x10 +40
those offset and sizes seem fine, but it really going to come down to how big of tire you put on those wheels
I’m looking to buy an 89 dodge Dakota would you say it’s a good truck to buy and can you give me some tips to look at when buying I’ve never worked on a 4 cylinder before
Will, these tips go for any car or truck. 1. watch our for rust, as its almost always never worth fixing as the cost and time. 2. ECU stuff, aka make sure it is work correctly. as these trucks are over 30 years old. 3. bushings and stuff, once again, 30 years old. Everything is fixable and actually cheap on these old 4 banger trucks. like whole head gaskset with new bolts was only $100. Enjoy the truck.
Oh and vacuum lines, they all will break over age and heat. so you have to replace them
@@z32_workshop52 thanks for the info I’ve worked on vehicles a lot and just want something that won’t be a whole lot of work
I live in Canada in “the salt belt”, on my 1990 240 my gas tank was way worse, but luckily there was a shop that rebuilts them. Hopefully this repair doesn’t cost you to much. Good luck bud!
@salvatorelb1338 yeah, ended up sourcing a different tank. You will see it in up coming videos. But thanks for the heads up on the repairing them.
Hello, If one of my fuel hardlines got busted from the passenger side underneath do I have to remove the whole undercarriage to fix it ? or what would you recommend? This is the only video I could find thats fuel hardline related.
Your going to treat it like a brake hardin line replacement. aka cut out the bad section, get some new hardlines, and flaring tool with couplers and replace the line. hopefully its in a straight section of pipe. I hope this helps
I wonder if it would be good to cap the rear exhaust tips, during winter storage, to keep all the condensation out?
maybe, but the condensation is coming from the intake. aka the car just running on a cold day
Cool truck
Thanks!
How did you get the bearing sleeve off ?
I used a bearing separator and puller for Harbor Freight. www.harborfreight.com/bearing-separator-and-puller-set-62593.html?_br_psugg_q=bearing+puller+set
woah. epic video. i will watch this and follow up on more of video
Thanks I appreciate it.
Underglow and crappy intakes instead of basic maintenance. I still blame fast and furious lol
LOL, i mean this stuff can be cool, but they usually are the cheapest of the cheap and then they would skip out on basic stuff and let the car go into disrepair.
How do you like the Daytona engine stand?
@@sxeric27 love it! For work on engines
2013 dodge Durango citadel 5.7. Car started making a funky noise, with a little investigating found it it’s the water pump pulley is super wobbly so will be replacing it. Thanks for the video
Thank you daddy z32 you are saving my life
probably just the orings on the plunger that get go hard or warn or from dirty old sludgy oil is my diagnosis after seeing that what's inside of them. thanks for showing us what's in there.
No problem, i dont them anyone else has every taken the time to open one up after the engine as failed, plus i wanted to see if there was any damage or not in the pump itself after it eat #5 rod bearing. Glad you liked the video.
yup bro. youre the person who make my z alive.. the best person ever..
have you heard of using a bit of heat and an impact screw driver first before becoming a butcher mechanic. Omg drilling them out.
LOL, yes i have heard of using heat, and sorry I do not own a impact screwdriver yet. Its a dead/bad pump to me, so saving the screws wasn't an option aka I didn't care so butcher them out, to see whats inside.
did you use any gasket seal or just the gasket? And how did it hold? My issue is my overflow is boiling over and not sure what the problem is yet.
I did not use any gasket seal, but you could use a small dap of it to hold the gasket it in if you wanted to. if you have replaced the water pump already and it is still boiling over, you have a head gasket issue and or a warped head.
Looks fun but for editing I'd rather have all one angle then the other, switching back and forth is disorienting
I did it to give a sense of exitment, plus that was 8ish runs all blended into one video. As I only have gopros.
When are you going to start turbocharging your Z? Are you going high compression or factory tt compression?
Unfortunately its looking more like next spring. As i cant have two cars down in garage going in winter. So the Stealth has to get moving under its own power first. So we can get our other cars in the garage for winter. As for high compression or factory TT compression. I am planning going factory.
@@z32_workshop52 I totally understand. Thank you for all your hard work you do for the z32 community. Your videos are gold.

I'm asking again about the fuel filler pipe from the convertible disassembly. Could you please let me know if have it or not. I want to buy it from you if is in good condition. Please reply, thanks.

I was guessing 3000gt (same thing) haha. I also have a non running 3000gt vr4 in my garage that. Congrats!
Nice. This is just a Stealth R/T aka 3000GT SL so no where as cool as the twinturbo awd stuff you have.
i'de say the fronts are 120% maxed out way too big just for some more pain in the ass issue's. i bet your inner wheel arch cover will get wrecked when cornering and under brakes and suspension plays its part not just sitting on the jack in the shed.
@Nismo65 nope they are fine, I have been on this setup for about 2 years and I autocross the regular.
Very helpful! looking at the same square setup, but I plan on lowering slightly. Good insight to know I can fit this setup on stock height and it doesn't look goofy. Thanks!
No problem, glad you found the vid usefull. fyi, with this set up and 0.75" upfront drop and 0.25" drop in the rear it looks good,. plus it handles will too.
