F1 is your best friend. All the knowledge you need for what does what and which items each shop needs, or can do. Every shop has primary sales items, and some have secondary. You can also sell anything anywhere, but people will buy based on type of business, in order of primary want, secondary want, everything else.
Maybe I do need to consult the help a little more, you're not wrong. I'm sure we can muddle our way through, Geek Cupboard ineptitude often works out quite well in the end!
1 thing I love about this game is when you move stuff. Like when you put stuff on a table or chairs next to it you can move everything by moving the table and everything comes with it.
I know this'll be too late, lol, but under Special Buildings, there is "Recruitment Agency"? I don't know if that's for you to hire people (probably) or if it could help you find work. But OMGOSH, so exciting! Bernard, and your tenacity has paid off! Next episode Big B's Boutique will be throwing open its doors!
Don't worry too much about hunger. In my game I tend to just eat 1 fresh food in the morning and go to bed starving and I'm doing fine. The only penalty is your energy dropping faster. But when the energy drop to 0 you start to move slower and eventually end up in hospital. It's tough life to be broke. Also I don't think bananas is the cheapest, they only seem to fill the hunger about 50% while fresh food takes it to 100%.
Loving the series! Yeah, you definitely don’t want to forget to set the price or Big B will be losing money and going to back to work in the supermarket.
Idk why but when i started watching your vids back when ep 1 of earl waltheof came out i thought you said the Greek cropboard wich sounds like a store where you buy farming stuff lol
Find the drive in wholesale place, they are the cheapest and sell prety much everything. Take the road on the far right on the map and head south, it's almost in the bottom right corner of the map. (make sure to turn the map so that the harbor is south)
If you don't want to keep walking everywhere, the subway/metro is a fantastic way to get around quickly. There's one near El Gato Foods. You can even take the hand carts on it!
A bit late, but if someone wants to start with similar condition, start with taking a loan that is only enough for a deposit on the room and a bed, possibly also a TV. Instead if paying 34 on the loan pr day it would probably be 15 or something, and if you don't rent the store that is another 25 saved pr day, for a total of 44 pr day or 308 pr week, wich would more than make of for the day he has to take off. Since he can't open the business that extra rent and down payment and rent on the store is totally wasted withouth him getting anything back from it. So he would save up money faster and when he saved some he could go an take the rest of the loan and start the store.
I find it better to go to sleep early so that I can get up early to play videogames in the morning, that way I goot the happy boost through the day. You don't need to be happy while you sleep. Videogame boost last longer than watching tv, but a pc cost more and you're gonna need a desk and a chair.
I'm sure we'll get there in time, give me a chance to get things done! I'm sure we'll have a pc and a nice apartment and everything else in a little while.
I think you get much better prices (and choices of stock) from the large drive-through warehouse (I forget the name of it but it's on the main road down by the docks). It's further away from your shop but it's worth the trip. That small metro store is handy for things like paper bags but I wouldn't buy your other stock items from there.
Just because your store is a clothing store it don't restrict you to only clothes, like I'm selling smartwatches and cupcakes in my fast food resturand and clothes and flowers in my gift shop. Also, jewlery is a bit out of reach yet, I can't even afford that yet with my 200k networth.

@@TheGeekCupboard It's not about what you know, it's about what you don't know you don't know and doing it anyway. Ignorance is bliss 😁
Have you considered the Dave Method Of Finance? Getting a larger loan to pay off the smaller loan and leave enough left over to buy product.

Hiring but he needs to take a class first

We don't want any more supermarket shifts, they weren't fun!

A few people have recommended this, although I don't have a car so can't really drive through...
@@TheGeekCupboard You don't need a car

Now we're hopefully going to make some money that might not be a bad idea!
I think that eating your food right infront of the cashier would be a very good prank. Its not hurting anyone just makes everyone mildly uncomfortable
The Geek Cupboard, cool content dude

These are the things we'll learn as we play! Although I'm not sure I'm allowed to use a drive-through, I don't have a car!

I do hope the devs add more utility to purchased items like clothes and books; at the moment you can only use food and drink.

That seems a bit weird, doesn't it? If I went to a fast food place I wouldn't expect to buy a smart watch! Very strange.
Bet penge has hot pink pjs
Can confirm.
how about Bernard hairdresser it is jus a idea
Give it time, we've only just scraped enough money together to open our first shop!
