The design of this model was just what I was looking for in my next watch. The clean unassuming face with a brushed steel case/bracelet and solid build quality that doesn't attract attention. This fits my style of a luxury daily driver like a Toyota Land Cruiser, well done Tudor.
Got myself on a list 2 days ago. Can't await to get it. A lot of people hate that it's plain and basic but that is actually the most appealing attribute of the watch to me
It’s an excellent watch and I love the understated design. I was unsure about it when first launched until I went and tried it on and bought it straight away. One of my favourite watches in my collection and a watch you can wear daily and under the radar where 95% of people will not even know you are wearing a Tudor
I bought this watch to top off what has been an extremely tough but ultimately successful year. I’m a sucker in this folly of a hobby and churn through watches quickly as they come and ago every few months .. but the Ranger, I’ve got a feeling will remain, as it’s just what I need for my everyday life outside of watch collecting. Others will come and go. Not this one. If that makes any sense. Anyway, what a fantastic review! Well done on the editing, the composition, the close ups, the narrative and the background ambiance! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing your channel grow.
I absolutely agree with your comment, and I already subscribed too :) Fantastic video and review of the Ranger ! I've ordered it to my local AD and can't wait to have it. Edit: I collected my Tudor Ranger on March 25th. Absolutely love it !
Found one “used” at non AD, sticker still on, full kit on bracelet, etc for retail. Literally brand new. It’s my new everyday watch. I feel exactly as you. Soon as I held it I knew I was buying it. Felt the same way about the black bay 58 I purchased 2 weeks ago on the leather strap. Brilliant watches
First time seeing a review of yours and really enjoyed it. Loved seeing your shots of the Ranger in its natural all-season habitats. Keep up the good work and im now so close to pulling the pin on the Ranger.
I have one and agree with all your points! Just one thing though, the lume is pretty bad compared to dive watches I used to wear. It shines bright for a few minutes but fades really quickly.
Thanks! I think it shines super bright initially and then fades to a point where it’s still brighter at 3am than most of my others. It’d be nice if it stayed that bright though 👍🏻😊
I was at Heathrow with time to spend in the International terminal leaving for the US (9/28/22). Watches of Switzerland actually had the Ranger on bracelet that I'd been thinking of, but had never seen. It was a watch that I had seen so many times online but never had a chance to see in person. I tried it on and knew I had to buy it. I have to say that I was buying with US Dollars and I feel it was a bargain ($500 less than my price in the US). I heard all the negatives this watch online.
Nice review esjborn like always... Nice watch ,simple, clean dial, good bracelet ,and hour hand with no snowflakes(better like this...like my omega legend diver bronze...
i had the first pelagos with in house movement. beautiful watch but too thick like most tudors and the titanium was soft and scratched easily. sold it after a year. my ranger arrives tomorrow
@@EsbjornWristwatchReviews i've had the ranger for more than a week now. i love it. much better in person. i even love to color of the lume, tho tudor sacrificed luminosity for that color
Thank You a nice review,I do own three Tudor watches, a BB58, BB58 925 and the Pelagos, i am very pleased with these Tudor watches, this new Ranger i do appreciate its plain lines and legible dial for that quick glance,, it does look very smart 👍
Your reviews are excellent, I’m struggling to make a decision between the Ranger & Oris diver 65 calibre 400, these watches are similar in price and both have great specs. If you hadn’t bought the Oris which one would you go for.
Thank you Mark! It's a tough decision. I have actually decided to move my Oris along after all for reasons outside of my control and it's safe to say that the Ranger would have been a quicker sale so keep that in mind, people tend to underestimate Oris, at least in Australia. Other than that, I had a Oris 65 itch to scratch and I still think it's better value with its movement and it's incredibly beautiful. The Ranger is a bit more understated and possibly a watch that you'll be tempted to sell eventually. It's a hard decision!! If you do decide on the Oris, hit me up :) If you decide on the Ranger, you also won't regret it but you might end up with both eventually.
I prefer this watch to the explorer. the explorer looks more like an homage to a watch that actually got its hands dirty once upon a time. a watch like the ranger

Totally agree,it’s plainness is a strength 👍🏻
👏🏻👏🏻
Totally agree as well. They knocked it out of the park as far as I’m concerned.
yep or they say it's an entry level tudor. huh? mine comes tomorrow

Totally! It’s amazing how much better it is in person than in pictures

Thanks so much for your kind words and yes, it’s amazing how this one sneaks up on you. I loved my time with it and will likely end up with one 😊

@@jmyricochet thanks so much ☺️
I bought the Ranger from the Tudor AD on Collins street the week it came out.
And I haven't worn any other watch since the day I bought it.

Best review of the Tudor Ranger so far.
Thanks so much Russell, kind words
💯
I just got a Longines Spirit, 40m blue sunburst dial blue strap this is next on my list
You won’t regret it, absolutely brilliant watch the Ranger 👍🏻
I recently bought one second hand / like new, 6 months old for 2.200 € and I can tell everyone, it is next to my BB54 the best watch, I can imagine
Excellent move, I hope to do the same in 2024 😊
Excellent, beautiful watch. 🙂 Congratulations for the review.
Thank you 😊

It’s not a dive watch
i agree with you. i generally dislike faux aged lume for this reason.
Glows all night, what more do you need?

It has that effect on people I think! Congrats on an excellent purchase 😊👍🏻
Only issues with the Ranger is, what do I do with my other 20 watches now?
😆

Santa is bringing me one this Xmas :)
It’d be a generous Santa 😆
Lovely arch and a great informative review 😊

Great review and content on your channel. Well done 👍
Thanks so much, really appreciate the feedback :)

Great vid, smooth mood with the perfect musical track. Now one in 36mm, = or
Thank you! And yes, agreed on the raised block lume 🙂👍
Great review !
Thank you 😊
Massively underrated piece at this point, had the chance to compare it in hand to the new Explorer and it made it look like a piece of silly jewellery
How so?
Love this review. Is the lume long lasting. Been seeing mixed reviews on this.
Thanks so much. It’s bright initially, drops fairly quickly but then stays like that for most of the night. Overall, I think it’s good enough 👍🏻
I really love this watch but i’m really hesiting with a BB58, hard to choose!
If it’s your first Tudor, I’d probably go BB ….and then this 🙂
Just got a BB and was looking at this and the 925 sterling BB
Both excellent options 👍🏻
Have you tried on a Longines heritage diver? Similar to this tool watch…
If I buy this watch online-6.5 inch wrist, will I need links taken out?
Yes definitely, but it’s very easy to do so 👍🏻
This music is ace. What is it?
Stock music from Epidemic Sound 😊
You reaaally like this watch 😂
And so do I. I hate this hobby
So annoying 😆
I forgive you ❤
Phew
