Johnny Cage actually does a finish move where he knocks three heads off of you, so that’s a secret that they left out
Missing:
1.) Johnny Cage's third fatality
2.) Pong
3.) The Shao Kahn bug can be extended up to Round 5, after which you get a Game Over screen regardless.
When Jax rips off his opponents' arms on Genesis and the opponent turns to face the player in agony, you hear multiple sounds synchronized with the blood gushing out. Apparently this is one small detail where Genesis arguably put in more effort because the blood spurt is silent on the SNES.
The piano at the end is nice!
I'll never forget my best friend Christian in 4th grade and I were in love with Kitana (her actress) as kids. We were very mature 4th graders and loved her "bob's" as we called them lol. But really we thought the actress was hot first and foremost. I remember them days back in the early 90's. My first crush was in 3rd grade before this game came out, I still remember her name Michelle Lemming, funny the things you remember. Unfortunately not my first GF as that wasn't until 6th grade after I moved to Orange County (thank god...minus starting over with friends).
Hahaha
Great video but I got to point out you missed Johnny Cage iconic and strange triple decapitation Fatality.
Love that Sega mY speakers got wet sound
Outstanding.
Классный видос 🔥👍👍
Well Done!
I wish you had shown some Game Genie stuff. WIth it, you could take control of Noob Saibot, Smoke, and Jade.
12:47 The " Babality!!" sound effect played
Nice gameplay 👍👍👍👍😀
That intro music is 🔥🔥🔥

Nice compilation, just one thing you hold LP + LK not LK + HK when doing the uppercut at deadpool
Could be different on genesis/mega drive with 3 button controller as there was only 1 punch button and 2 kicks so you can't hold down a button and tap one at the same time why its 2 kicks instead
@@BIGGIEDEVIL I use a dual shock ps4 controller on the genesis version but I play the game on an emulator and use a six button setup so when I do the deadpool fatality you do hold LP+LK then press D+HP also if you hold down certain buttons when doing johnny cage's head decap you will punch off 3 heads instead of 1
@@BIGGIEDEVIL Confirmed. LK+HK on 3-button controllers.
3:01 * "I will die!"
audio messed up or is that how is actually sounds like on the Genesis
When I played Sega Mortal Kombat 2, it was 1995 or 1996. There were no babalities, friendships... only fatalities. I won 50 streaks, but the name was Shadow, not Noob Saibot. Never opened the question mark and never found about Smoke.
With kung lao's hat decap fatality on the genesis you don't have to aim it automatically cuts the head off where on the super nintendo you have to aim for a certain spot for the fatality to count
I never knew that. Very interesting. Did you ever remember hearing that Scorpion was supposed to have three fatalities? I seem to remember trying a fatality off a gaming magazine on the SNES but never pulled it off.
@@miesvaillanykyisyytta3252 he does have 3 fatalities in mk2 on the genesis a toasty fatality and one where you do it from a distance where the flame doesn't look like it's hitting them but they still burn and one where he slices them in half with his spear I'm sure he has the same ones on the snes
Kitana's fatality 2 isn't correct: you must hold low kick, not low punch, stage fatality dead pool isn't correct too - need to hold low kick + low punch and do an uppercut (with high punch)
Doesn't Kung Lao's fatality number 2 have to have you push up at some point to hit the head at the right timing in this version of the game?
At the last second you push up on the controller to aim the hat at the opponents heads
On the super nintendo you have to aim kung lao's hat I'm guessing you have to hit some spot on the neck for the finisher to count where on the genesis you don't have to aim it automatically cuts the head off if you don't mess with the d-pad and just let the hat fly straight at the opponent
The animation on the Genesis looks more choppy as if they are missing frames.
Sega fatality are more realistic then SNES n arcade
How does someone get decapitated with there head of n still continues yelling wtf in Sega it's for a split second
Hello!
Version diffrence sega genesis and snes.genesis doesnt say fatality or friendship just that out of tune electric current.snes has clear voice samples and say fatality
💥👑👑🖤👑👑🖤👑👑💥
O super Nintendo dava de 1000
this is upscaled
how does the fatalities
huh
They should had stopped after THIS game.....storyline wise anything after this game makes no sense
Liu Kang cartwheel uppercut isn't as powerful like the first mortal kombat
Always prefered the MK games on MEGADRIVE, the snes version of MK2 has more details on backgrounds and more voice effects, but the music was a shit, when the fighters jump you can listen the voice of fighiting girls, look on a man fighter with a female voice is terrible or on SNES are trans fighters? Sure on megadrive could have been better, look the hack version "MORTAL KOMBAT 2 UNLIMITED"
Ah fanboys snes tried to fight vs KINTARO snes version and KINTARO MEGADRIVE version, and look wich is more playable bye..
yuo not this game7
Crappy version of a great game.
The music was better
What are you talking about this was a great port.
@@diobrando-qv3uv Snes version was a great port. Mega's version dont even seems to be 16 bits. Horroble music and sound effects.
They did a better job on mk2 than mk1 for genesis graphically. The sound is a little better but still nowhere near as good as snes or arcade. Most people I knew growing up had one or the other. I only knew a couple kids with both consoles simultaneously. We were a sega household so this was the only version available to us at the time.
