These videos are cool to see but it would be interesting to see your sales strategies. Cold call script, closing techniques..basically the process you follow to get a customer and make a sale!
As someone who is looking to leave my current career and try to make the jump to sales (relocating to Texas), I would love a video on Sales Strategies.
Most legit sales jobs have their own style of training and expect you to follow their sales program

Enjoyed the video. I never had it in me to go out and sell. I did have my own business for many years and 9 times outta 10 once someone called me I’d win them over and they would come through my doors. Keeping the clients was always the fun part. Mine loved when they walked in and I greeted them with “you again?” or “what do you want now?” At the end of the day, being truly invested and excited about their products/services made me a better commercial artist and helped them promote their business. I’m impressed with your drive and determination.
As someone that works in a similar role to you. I always say we are part time firefighters. some days are great and some days it is just one fire after the other

Definitely understand the part about having to adapt due to the shortage, working in car sales the chip shortage makes it hard to sell cars we don’t have but we find ways to get cars sold

I'm also in sales, the pressure level might be more than apart from other job profile, but appreciation is more than that of the other job profile. I think the money with honey is only in sales.
As you said having structure as a sales person, while I'm not that I've found that success comes from having the most structure and not having a ton of free time to unmotivate yourself.

I’m 39 been in sales 20 years. In the uk so very different market to the US. I’m about to potentially change to another company who are a competitor! Your videos very interesting wish me luck
Any advice on making the switch into a sales position? I work on the back end appointment setting, a lot of emails with customers for a Car Dealership. I've been thinking of making the jump to the sales side and not setting appointments in the dealership. But the idea of leaving my hourly job to a commission job scares the poop out of me.

What i found is that caffeine works for me 4 in the morning. And it works differently for everyone.

You could change up the way you film if you decided to do daily vlogs, you could make them more documentary style with confessionals. It would make the repetitive days different each time because you're telling the viewers what's on your mind for that day in addition to what's going on for that day. You're already on the cinematic route anyway.
Just curious, have you thought about getting one of those electric cars you can charge in your garage? Could potentially get rid of gas station stops lol.

I noticed that you travel places such as Mebane and Durham for work as a Sales Rep, I am also interested in getting into Software sales, do you think that we could talk or you could give some me some advice on breaking into this industry. Also, just as reference I have a Biology degree and I currently work as a Microbiologist.
I actually don’t work in software but I know there are tons is great companies in this area !

@@BusinessAndFitness Honestly speaking, I have been in sales from last 10 years. For the first 3-4 years, I never knew that after all the meetings, I just wanted to go back home and relax. My friends or sometimes clients used to take me out for drinks or dinners after meetings but inside I badly wanted to go home and be alone to relax. Later I realised why I behaved like that got know about introversion and extroversion personalities. Well now i embrace who I am and know why I feel the like that. You are doing a great job and to all the introvert sales people out there, know that you are not alone. Just keep hustling and take time to relax and recharge from time to time and know that its all ok. God Bless
