Hey Rishabh, I concluded the same for myself. Being only one member earning right now, I too found that, though not ideal, renting is the practical option for me.
haan yaar if you are not sure abhi settle kahan hona hai- just dont buy a property for the sake of it. People tend to get worried n start taking impuslive decisions- just because everyone else is doing it. You are a smart guy!
Better to use FHSA and RRSP accounts for first home due to tax relief and with a spouse it’s double benefit. Very good decision to hold due to current market conditions
Can you elaborate about advantage of RRSP for first-time home buying please?
FHSA is even better than RRSP but in short- 40k(FHSA) contribution and 35k(RRSP) contribution will be total 75k tax deductions from your income multiply this by 2 if you are married just with RRSP you have to recontribute that amount in 15 years and also it will be taxed at retirement with FHSA contributions no tax and you can invest in stocks or EtFs to get extra benefits

It is not the right time. I almost purchased as well this summer but lost out and am now glad I did. Would have been paying much more than it's worth. With high interest rates my purchase power has been decreased greatly as well. I am going to wait and see what happens now.
Well now is the time to own to keep housing constant and rent out to outher students. If you wait too long, you will be forever priced out of market.

Best way to live comfortable life for middle class is... come to canada get citizenship.. earn in dollars invest in india (stock market gives 15% return)... travel world..enjoy life no stress.. work until your 50s and go back.. have a great retirement life..with good Healthcare..good food. House help and with friends and family 😊. Also convert your pension dollars in rupees😂 and chill out 👍

Yeah better to save up for a freehold (no condo fees) property. It can be a townhouse, house, etc.
Townhouse comes with a condo fee
@LifeofRishabh not all do. The townhouses in ontario that are on public streets are freehold. These are more like 3-4 houses joined together with their own driveway and garage and backyard. They usually also have basements. The townhouses with fees are usually in private streets or built similar to apartment complex.
@@asadb1990 Most townhouses have a condo fee doesn’t matter if they come with a backyard, garage, driveway etc.
@LifeofRishabh well last i checked the ones in calgary are mostly with condo fees. But the ones in ontario a lot of them dont.

I would have been so happy for you if i saw " how i bought my first house". But thats okay as you said you are just 23. But imagine you bought it at 23. Lived and kept it for 2 years, take out equity and started a business at 25. Or needed sold it at any time you needed money as you know value is only going up never coming down. I suggest you rethink and make that happen.

The returns are not guaranteed in any investment how can you say it’s only going up?
@@sharma1217 At current interest rate of 6.5% there is no equity either so you can’t get profited by refinancing and selling your primary residence for profit doesn’t sound too good
