Dae-ho seemingly ‘joking around’ whenever he was saluting can be explained as it’s a reminder of a time in his life he wasn’t happy and quite clearly would rather forget. As for him not knowing how to load the gun, I disagree. I think he must have passed basic training (which would have included weapons training), but the thought of going into an actual battle terrifies him. He also may not be used to the weapon. Someone made a comment on another video that the MP5 is the preferred choice for the South Korean special forces, but for the normal army/marines, they use a different weapon Edit: also if you’re trying to say he never served in the military at all, it’s worth pointing out that ALL males between 18 and 35 have to serve in their military

That is not a normal reaction especially it is 120 not like 001 or others. Also he doesn't know how to load that gun cuz that gun is different type of gun only used in special force. Throughout the show if you paid attention it is implied (through subtext and his actions) that Daeho isn't being truthful when talking about serving in the Marines. He's the only one during the escape attempt that was fully confused about how to load and shoot a gun and was the only one not shooting any of the pink soilders during the first initial shootout (instead he was cowering behind cover).
@@nickcollins5191 I personally think the reason why the marines aspect of Daeho's story is such a big thing is because its the reason why he's in debt and had to join the games...maybe he deserted? His dad made him join but he couldn't take it ran away becoming a felon. This could also explain why he's not as trained as all of the other males there. Never properly learned how to load and shoot a gun and never was put in combat scenarios. Because of this I also think the PTSD theory for Daeho is utter bs and he was simply just scared as hell which is understandable.
yes! even if some pronunciations are off, they still tried. While I do agree that Koreans names are harder to remember (even though I'm Korean), it's better than just calling them by numbers because then it's more confusing (except for the notable ones like 007 (the son), 100 (the old man), etc. since they've got numbers that are easier to remember). There's one reactor who keeps calling Gi-hun by his surname "Seong" :/

I was caught off guard by the ending cause I didn’t realize there was only 7 episodes this season. But I’m glad they’re splitting it up cause I’m really enjoying these characters and I don’t want their stories to be rushed and theirs so many more side characters this season.
In ho is so manipulative 💀 he did all this just to torture gi hun lol also he seems kinda obsessed with gi hun, he's always looking at him to see his reaction of things, seems like he wants to know his motivations
I think he’s pissed but also fascinated by the audacity of Gi-Hun to (potentially) be one of the first winners to refuse to just live large and actually decide to come back thinking he could be the hero and save everyone. I agree some of it is morbid manipulation and torture but I don’t think it’s JUST bc he gets off on it, I also think he might’ve been a Gi-Hun at one point after winning and lost that, so he wants to see Gi-Hun’s spirit broken in the same way his was. I have a feeling he didn’t initially want to use his winnings either so he decide to go work for them and eventually lost his way and now he sort of wants to see if Gi-Hun can pull off what he never could.
He didn’t torture him at all. He already knew gihuns motivation and genuinely wanted to see how he’d accomplish his goal. The actor himself even said he played the character like he was open minded and even had a little bit of hope that gihun’s ideologies would prove his wrong. What made him turn against gihun again is how he sacrificed people’s lives for his own benefit… which is basically what the games were made to prove. Frontman was correct in his ideology that human nature is naturally evil so he gave up hope for gihun cause he couldn’t stick to his morals of trying to save everyone
This was a great finale for s2 but the ending was pretty jarring clearly does feel like a part 1 but it makes me more excited for s3 to judge it in full
seriously, like i understand being disappointed that he abandoned his team, but fuck, the poor boy was traumatized. it looked like he was really trying, and he really wanted to come through, but his mental state was diminishing him. :(
they would absolutely keep Gi-hun alive just to torture him some more. this whole ruse by the Frontman was a way to prove to G-hun that he's wrong about these people and that there's no saving them from themselves. I think it's very fitting that there was a prominent character in this season named Thanos because this ending gave me the same feelings I felt at the end of Infinity War. the heroes have lost, and Thanos has won. I look forward to next season, where we finally get to see the endgame of this heroes' tale. also, Hyun-ju was my favorite new character, and I have high hopes for her next season. thanks for the reaction, fellas! 😃
While the frontman has a duty to fulfill I think he actually enjoys Gi-Hun's company as a person there's little things he does and says that indicate that's the case
A 5-second teaser after the credits showed players 096, 100 (the old greedy "O" man), and 353 walking into a game hall with Young-hee, the giant girl doll from Red Light Green Light, and a new giant boy doll named Cheol-su (the show creators named him). It also shows a railroad crossing sign with flashing green and red lights. I theorize Gi-hun will not return to the games but will be held captive and maybe tortured in another way outside of the player group. After losing his best friend his mentality will likely be quite bleak. It's hard to picture him re-entering the games and once again fighting for his own survival while other people die instead of him. I feel like he would just give up immediately.
I feel like Gi-hun will be put back in the games though, because if not, he will be quite sidelined (like Junho this season). Since most of the screentime goes into the games, if he's not in it, he'll have significantly less exposure and i feel like that would suck cause he's the MC and he needs to be present in the main plot (the games).
there are people who are theorizing that the post credits is a flashback (or a timeskip??) because 100's hair doesn't look grey (so this would be a different character) but I thought it was because of the lighting/shadow effects.
THANK YOU guys for actually understanding that Dae Ho has PTSD. I have SEVERE PTSD and it’s so clear to me that he has PTSD. I can’t even explain how it is for me everyday and has been ever since that horrible incident October 2022. I still have nightmares and PTSD flashbacks and panic attacks EVERY DAY. It’s so not strange that he got so scared that he couldn’t continue, and he was clearly sitting there with PTSD flashbacks.
I think the dad (whose daughter is sick) is not dead, you can see/ or not the person who shot him might be No-eul, and she shot him not in the chest..so probably he will still alive. This season make me believe, the front man might be have a plan for expose this organization. Really good season!!
......Yeaaaah I don't think at present someone who's willing to kill people in cold blood and take enjoyment from seeing people die in red light green light has ANY desire to expose the organization. Like cmon now. 😂
One thing that was made very obvious this season is that the soldiers are *every bit as expendable* as the players are. And we saw that they are recruited in much the same way that the players are, as well. The gamemasters fully take advantage of their downtrodden financial situations, just as they do the players.
I appreciate the love you give to 120, unlike other creators who just straight up edit her out or just completely disregard her which is crazy because she’s a main character! This is why you guys are one of the best reaction channels!!

Is it an unpopular opinion to say i liked season 2 more than 1? I feel like there's much more likeable characters this time. I was rewatching season 1 and the players were much more ruthless and bloodthirsty. Our team here actually felt like a real team so i'm very attached to them
I was more invested in this round of players too. especially Hyunju's original team with Young-mi, 007 (I can never remember his name) and his mom. not the shaman lady tho, she can go away 😂
For the first time I feel like 456 became more like the people he says he wants to stop. He literally sacrificed his side because he let his anger and greed for his vengeance get in the way of what he’s been trying to do. He could have at least told his side even if he didn’t wanna tell them the getting under the bed part like “hey guys when the lights go off Os are gonna come over here and attack us so keep your forks and be on alert” but no he literally let most of the Xs go to bed thinking tomorrow their gonna be able to revote and can go home that was messed up even if he warned his team about the attack no matter what the guards were gonna come in and the beginning of the plan to get the guns would have worked and I didn’t understand his speech to try to get people to help in the “war” he was like it’s time to capture the people who captured us but most of those people he was talking to were Os who wanted to legit stay and play for the money they didn’t feel captured at all the people who needed to hear that speech were the people he sacrificed for his own greed. Now literally almost all Xs are dead and tomorrow they’ll probably revote and the games will once again continue cause it’s only mainly Os who are there now like all this Xs died for nothing. 456 should have know something was up with how easily they were getting closer to the control room like sir it took you 3 years to find the recruiter then when you tried to stop the game on the outside they messed up your plans in seconds which is how you got in the games again then planted a tracker in yourself they found it took it out and messed up your plans once again like time and time again they legit messed up your plan so he knows how dangerous skilled and smart these people really are and he really thought he was finna take this whole corporation down in some minutes like it’s reason these games haven’t been found out about and have been happening non stop for years without a trace these people are hella smart I just feel like 456 should have known better than to think it was gonna happen that fast and easily not so many people died for nothing this might sound bad but if he wanted to help and get those people out like he said they should have done 001 plan by attacking first so they could vote the next day and go home even if they didn’t wanna kill the Os they could at least barricaded themselves and protected themselves so that the next day they could vote and be able to go home idk maybe I’m just thinking to much or something but I just feel like he didn’t think it through he let his emotions lead him and ended up becoming closer to the people he wanted to stop in the first place but still it’s a great season and I can’t wait to see what season 3 brings
I feel like that’s why frontman ultimately turned against him again in the end as well. 001’s actor said himself that 001 watches gihun closely to see how he can subtly crush his motivation and goals, but deep inside is hoping that gihuns morals and ideology can overcome his own. It was when gihun made the plan to sacrifice some people for his own benefit that his hope was gone and gihun proved him right with humans turning naturally “evil”when put into a harsh situation. So their relationship came to an end when gihun couldn’t keep his morals.
finally someone said this lol. i found his character to be very realistic because most people would be fearing their lives the whole game. he was just trying to survive like everyone else and we all know he wouldn’t have survived namgyu 😭.
I can't blame Min-su for being scared. I'm just mostly bummed that Nam-gyu outlived Thanos and killed Se-mi 👿 would've been nice if Se-mi took the opportunity to stab Nam-gyu with his own fork when he got distracted by the glass bottle
Exactly, like people forget that he clearly is afraid and doesnt know how to fight. He and the girl would've both died. His reactions are so human and realistic.

And a forking might have happened, but we’ll never know will we? 2 vs 1 is notoriously always more advantageous than 1 vs 1. Anyway all I’m asking is he threw the bottle two more inches to the left 😂 or made a distraction when he failed rather than hiding 😂 that girl was his only true ally from the start
Gi hun just sacrificed the rest of the players on the X side so he could execute his plan. He us becoming what he planned to defeat and thats why inho gives him the look while asking him if hes ready to sacrifice people for the "greater good".
Yup, he's definitely blinded by hatred and revenge. Who's he even helping at this point? Even if he shoots the frontman, surely the police officer told him about the VIPS, which means the games will continue. Just like the peiple in charge told him, for the games to stop the world must change. He just wants revenge.
@@Marina-cq2yt exactly!!!! You get it. He had the option to save almost 100 people but decided to sacrifice a lot of them. He knows how the game works,it's the rich people behind the games who are in control, everything else including the frontman and the red suit soldiers are all replaceable

@@zulynava4059 they had issues with copyright particularly when they were reacting to it’s okay to not be okay they almost lost the channel bc of the copyright takedown in so many of their videos. that’s when they started only posting them in patreon except for some kdramas that weren’t as strict like the glory I think
@@zulynava4059 they made a post around april on patreon about taking a break from kdramas . Basically the main reason was copyright as they wanted to post the reacts on patreon and youtube but it was impossbile. Shows like its okay to not be ok and D.P. was only patreon exlusive. A few other reasons mentioned was most the kdramas highly suggested have long episodes and seasons as that would take too much of their schedule and would be hard to commit to. I guess the same went for animes as well I don't blame them theres too many to watch lol. They could still watch kmovies tho if it ever wins the polls.
Love your reactions and your opinions on this season! Definitely agree with your views the most out of the reactors I've watched. I know a lot of people were let down with this season but I really enjoyed it. I saw a lot of criticisms that there weren't enough games and it wasn't like season one, but I don't understand why you'd want it to be? The story has to progress somehow! I don't know why you'd expect to see a full set of games, there has to be some sort of attempt at a coup or the plot would go nowhere. I really think people just wanted to relive the feeling of season one but that was never gonna happen, its time to explore the overarching story. My main negative definitely was the Jun-ho story line being a whole lotta nothing. I know it's split into 2 parts but the inclusion of their scenes didn't progress a single thing other than the "reveal" (it was pretty obvious) of the captain being on the inside. They didn't get any closer to finding the location so it seemed like wasted plot time. But I honestly can't wait to see how it all concludes, though I fear for the characters left.
100% agree, I really enjoyed this season, and I watched it not knowing it was going to be split into season 3. People were definitely just wanting more games (how ironic), but I thought the sociological additions of the voting system, how the money would be given to the surviving players, and putting In-ho on the ground to directly challenge Gi-hun’s morals were an excellent way to further explore the concept. Absolutely Jun-ho and even No-eul weren’t plotted well enough for this first half but I’m hoping they’ll pay off well in season 3.

They had to change it up for season two or it would be boring to repeat season one, and I really enjoyed all the new additions to the games and how the coup came about. I'd definitely change my opinion on the plot if 246 was dead (I doubt it) and if Jun-ho's plot doesn't pay off as you say as that would be huge failures of two majorly hinted at storylines, but I know it's just something we have to wait for in season three.

I do sympathise with the people who wanted more games, from a purely entertainment standpoint - it did feel like they had to spread them out a bit thin in order to only cover half of them, but I also count the Recruiter’s episode as a kind of pre-game; I thought Rock Paper Scissors Minus One was maybe the best ‘moral choice’ game of season 2. Having Woo-seok accidentally play two rocks and Mr Kim needing to choose to kill or be killed was so abruptly heartbreaking. 😭 But narratively, absolutely, it was less about the games this season and more about how the characters would/would not take action against ‘the people in power’ with Gi-hun’s knowledge. I loved how his positivity was motivating in season 1, but that in season 2 he’s grown so dark (understandably) and starts tipping too far into his plan for revenge. That look on In-ho’s face when Gi-hun accepted “sacrificing a few for the greater good”. 🤌 You’re right, I’d be surprised if 246 is actually dead, that would almost completely halt No-eul’s plot besides the organ harvesters, which we’d already seen to this extent in season 1 anyway. Crossing my fingers but fairly optimistic both she and Jun-ho will have a deciding influence on how everything wraps up!
obviously, 388 - Daeho has PTSD, he was forcefully sent to the MARINES because his dad thought he was too soft and too girly playing and always being around his sisters, all that gunfire probably brought back his trauma, and panic attacks. He is from Marine class 1140, he enlisted on April 18, 2011, and was discharged on January 17, 2013. During this period in South Korea, the Ganghwa Marine Corps shooting incident occurred, that's maybe why he was Flinching, shaking, and panicking. He's not coward at all, Let's all be thankful to him, coz 120-Hyunju is saved because of him... our 120 is our MVP for this season... And also the Mom she saved Hyunju for not continuing to fight. So sad that history repeats itself 456 friend (390 Park Jung Bae) are killed just like what happened in season 1 (67 Kang Sae-byeok and 218 Cho Sang-woo).
Hyun-ju, the absolute Queen that you aaaaaaaaaaaaare! Ahhhhhhhh! (Also, I think 246 is alive, I think the girl was the one who shot but didn't really kill him, they didn't show the body and I was also rooting for him, so yeah, I'll be in happy denial until we get S3).
I hope some people's theories are wrong about Gi-hun eventually becoming the front man. I know his actions and thought processes grew steadily darker over this season but I hope seeing Jeong-bae die will forever leave him jaded about the nature of the games.

I think there was way too many characters this season which left little room for development. Like 011 story kind of fizzled out. I guess we will get more in season 3 but they should of done some resolutions this time. Jun ho was definitely wasted :/
@TVGIRLiminalSpaceMetallic it is a problem if you want people to be invested in them. I found myself not really caring if the characters died , and felt nothing during scenes that were meant to make you emotional. also: sae byeok doesn't have any sisters, only two brothers

@TVGIRLiminalSpaceMetallic her child. the broker mentions that the kid was just 1 year old when No-eul defected. and since No-eul's been working for the games for 7-ish years (with a 2-3 year break inbetween while she worked at the theme park), the kid (if still alive) should be 8 by now. and if they were sisters why wouldnt the broker just tell her that "o BTW your sister is dead. and your brother is being raised by this old lady at this address" that and No-eul would have noticed her in season 1.
in addition to everything you said about Noeul and the dad, they also took all of this time to establish Noeul's deep awareness of (but non-involvement in) the organ theft scheme, which suggests to me she might use that knowledge somehow to navigate saving the dad's life

No-eul might be the one who shot the father, probably just on the leg or something. They didn't really show that he died there. I really hope so, He can't die just yet!

Idk, personally S2 felt a little bit like a letdown. Maybe it’s cuz I thought this season was gonna be longer with a more wrapped up storyline but even what Rob said like the detectives plotline felt so minimal and barely gave us any new info whenever they’re scenes would pop up. It felt like each plot wasn’t as fully fleshed out or delve into compared to last seasons and felt kinda rushed in order to make room for the chaos of the games.
@@LiahSerenity to be fair it’s Netflix fault because most people did not know going into this season that it was only part one. Nowhere does it say, unless you search it up. It does feel somewhat rushed without knowing this
i totally agree. the detective plotline just felt like stalling, so unneccessary. but i'm mostly disappointed that they didn't develop the characters enough. i didn't have time to really care about any of them like I did in season 1.

not too much on minsu😖 hes in complete survival mode rn n hes had some of the most human reactions the whole time. im upset she died but its not rly minsu fault, he tried to give her a weapon but then had to watch his only friend in there die. i personally would NOT have jumped in to try n help her, id js want to get home. n my fav poor daeho i love him so bad, his ptsd is so clear n raw. honestly if 388 didnt have his panic attack, 120 would prbly be dead. I personally enjoyed season 2, however, surely they could've done a more thorough search of the pink soldiers, find the maganize in the pocket, y'know? when you're such in a desperate plan, surely it shouldn't be missed also just the fact that there are so many popular actors in this kind of took me out of the immersion. I just had a feeling they wouldn't die quickly

Maybe trauma from his dad cause when Hyun jo reached for the mags he flinched away as if he was gonna get hit. It would make sense with the hints earlier in the season where he seemed uncomfortable talking about his dad who wanted him to man up.

I think he’s pissed but also fascinated by the audacity of Gi-Hun to (potentially) be one of the first winners to refuse to just live large and actually decide to come back thinking he could be the hero and save everyone. I agree some of it is morbid manipulation and torture but I don’t think it’s JUST bc he gets off on it, I also think he might’ve been a Gi-Hun at one point after winning and lost that, so he wants to see Gi-Hun’s spirit broken in the same way his was. I have a feeling he didn’t initially want to use his winnings either so he decide to go work for them and eventually lost his way and now he sort of wants to see if Gi-Hun can pull off what he never could.
He didn’t torture him at all. He already knew gihuns motivation and genuinely wanted to see how he’d accomplish his goal. The actor himself even said he played the character like he was open minded and even had a little bit of hope that gihun’s ideologies would prove his wrong. What made him turn against gihun again is how he sacrificed people’s lives for his own benefit… which is basically what the games were made to prove. Frontman was correct in his ideology that human nature is naturally evil so he gave up hope for gihun cause he couldn’t stick to his morals of trying to save everyone

they would absolutely keep Gi-hun alive just to torture him some more. this whole ruse by the Frontman was a way to prove to G-hun that he's wrong about these people and that there's no saving them from themselves. I think it's very fitting that there was a prominent character in this season named Thanos because this ending gave me the same feelings I felt at the end of Infinity War. the heroes have lost, and Thanos has won. I look forward to next season, where we finally get to see the endgame of this heroes' tale.
also, Hyun-ju was my favorite new character, and I have high hopes for her next season.

I theorize Gi-hun will not return to the games but will be held captive and maybe tortured in another way outside of the player group. After losing his best friend his mentality will likely be quite bleak. It's hard to picture him re-entering the games and once again fighting for his own survival while other people die instead of him. I feel like he would just give up immediately.
I feel like Gi-hun will be put back in the games though, because if not, he will be quite sidelined (like Junho this season). Since most of the screentime goes into the games, if he's not in it, he'll have significantly less exposure and i feel like that would suck cause he's the MC and he needs to be present in the main plot (the games).
there are people who are theorizing that the post credits is a flashback (or a timeskip??) because 100's hair doesn't look grey (so this would be a different character) but I thought it was because of the lighting/shadow effects.

I have SEVERE PTSD and it’s so clear to me that he has PTSD.
I can’t even explain how it is for me everyday and has been ever since that horrible incident October 2022.
I still have nightmares and PTSD flashbacks and panic attacks EVERY DAY.

One thing that was made very obvious this season is that the soldiers are *every bit as expendable* as the players are. And we saw that they are recruited in much the same way that the players are, as well. The gamemasters fully take advantage of their downtrodden financial situations, just as they do the players.

Is it an unpopular opinion to say i liked season 2 more than 1? I feel like there's much more likeable characters this time. I was rewatching season 1 and the players were much more ruthless and bloodthirsty. Our team here actually felt like a real team so i'm very attached to them

For the first time I feel like 456 became more like the people he says he wants to stop. He literally sacrificed his side because he let his anger and greed for his vengeance get in the way of what he’s been trying to do. He could have at least told his side even if he didn’t wanna tell them the getting under the bed part like “hey guys when the lights go off Os are gonna come over here and attack us so keep your forks and be on alert” but no he literally let most of the Xs go to bed thinking tomorrow their gonna be able to revote and can go home that was messed up even if he warned his team about the attack no matter what the guards were gonna come in and the beginning of the plan to get the guns would have worked and I didn’t understand his speech to try to get people to help in the “war” he was like it’s time to capture the people who captured us but most of those people he was talking to were Os who wanted to legit stay and play for the money they didn’t feel captured at all the people who needed to hear that speech were the people he sacrificed for his own greed. Now literally almost all Xs are dead and tomorrow they’ll probably revote and the games will once again continue cause it’s only mainly Os who are there now like all this Xs died for nothing. 456 should have know something was up with how easily they were getting closer to the control room like sir it took you 3 years to find the recruiter then when you tried to stop the game on the outside they messed up your plans in seconds which is how you got in the games again then planted a tracker in yourself they found it took it out and messed up your plans once again like time and time again they legit messed up your plan so he knows how dangerous skilled and smart these people really are and he really thought he was finna take this whole corporation down in some minutes like it’s reason these games haven’t been found out about and have been happening non stop for years without a trace these people are hella smart I just feel like 456 should have known better than to think it was gonna happen that fast and easily not so many people died for nothing this might sound bad but if he wanted to help and get those people out like he said they should have done 001 plan by attacking first so they could vote the next day and go home even if they didn’t wanna kill the Os they could at least barricaded themselves and protected themselves so that the next day they could vote and be able to go home idk maybe I’m just thinking to much or something but I just feel like he didn’t think it through he let his emotions lead him and ended up becoming closer to the people he wanted to stop in the first place but still it’s a great season and I can’t wait to see what season 3 brings

I feel like that’s why frontman ultimately turned against him again in the end as well. 001’s actor said himself that 001 watches gihun closely to see how he can subtly crush his motivation and goals, but deep inside is hoping that gihuns morals and ideology can overcome his own. It was when gihun made the plan to sacrifice some people for his own benefit that his hope was gone and gihun proved him right with humans turning naturally “evil”when put into a harsh situation. So their relationship came to an end when gihun couldn’t keep his morals.

@@zulynava4059 they had issues with copyright particularly when they were reacting to it’s okay to not be okay they almost lost the channel bc of the copyright takedown in so many of their videos. that’s when they started only posting them in patreon except for some kdramas that weren’t as strict like the glory I think

Basically the main reason was copyright as they wanted to post the reacts on patreon and youtube but it was impossbile. Shows like its okay to not be ok and D.P. was only patreon exlusive. A few other reasons mentioned was most the kdramas highly suggested have long episodes and seasons as that would take too much of their schedule and would be hard to commit to. I guess the same went for animes as well I don't blame them theres too many to watch lol. They could still watch kmovies tho if it ever wins the polls.
Love your reactions and your opinions on this season! Definitely agree with your views the most out of the reactors I've watched. I know a lot of people were let down with this season but I really enjoyed it. I saw a lot of criticisms that there weren't enough games and it wasn't like season one, but I don't understand why you'd want it to be? The story has to progress somehow! I don't know why you'd expect to see a full set of games, there has to be some sort of attempt at a coup or the plot would go nowhere. I really think people just wanted to relive the feeling of season one but that was never gonna happen, its time to explore the overarching story. My main negative definitely was the Jun-ho story line being a whole lotta nothing. I know it's split into 2 parts but the inclusion of their scenes didn't progress a single thing other than the "reveal" (it was pretty obvious) of the captain being on the inside. They didn't get any closer to finding the location so it seemed like wasted plot time. But I honestly can't wait to see how it all concludes, though I fear for the characters left.
100% agree, I really enjoyed this season, and I watched it not knowing it was going to be split into season 3. People were definitely just wanting more games (how ironic), but I thought the sociological additions of the voting system, how the money would be given to the surviving players, and putting In-ho on the ground to directly challenge Gi-hun’s morals were an excellent way to further explore the concept. Absolutely Jun-ho and even No-eul weren’t plotted well enough for this first half but I’m hoping they’ll pay off well in season 3.

They had to change it up for season two or it would be boring to repeat season one, and I really enjoyed all the new additions to the games and how the coup came about. I'd definitely change my opinion on the plot if 246 was dead (I doubt it) and if Jun-ho's plot doesn't pay off as you say as that would be huge failures of two majorly hinted at storylines, but I know it's just something we have to wait for in season three.

I do sympathise with the people who wanted more games, from a purely entertainment standpoint - it did feel like they had to spread them out a bit thin in order to only cover half of them, but I also count the Recruiter’s episode as a kind of pre-game; I thought Rock Paper Scissors Minus One was maybe the best ‘moral choice’ game of season 2. Having Woo-seok accidentally play two rocks and Mr Kim needing to choose to kill or be killed was so abruptly heartbreaking. 😭 But narratively, absolutely, it was less about the games this season and more about how the characters would/would not take action against ‘the people in power’ with Gi-hun’s knowledge. I loved how his positivity was motivating in season 1, but that in season 2 he’s grown so dark (understandably) and starts tipping too far into his plan for revenge. That look on In-ho’s face when Gi-hun accepted “sacrificing a few for the greater good”. 🤌 You’re right, I’d be surprised if 246 is actually dead, that would almost completely halt No-eul’s plot besides the organ harvesters, which we’d already seen to this extent in season 1 anyway. Crossing my fingers but fairly optimistic both she and Jun-ho will have a deciding influence on how everything wraps up!
obviously, 388 - Daeho has PTSD, he was forcefully sent to the MARINES because his dad thought he was too soft and too girly playing and always being around his sisters, all that gunfire probably brought back his trauma, and panic attacks. He is from Marine class 1140, he enlisted on April 18, 2011, and was discharged on January 17, 2013. During this period in South Korea, the Ganghwa Marine Corps shooting incident occurred, that's maybe why he was Flinching, shaking, and panicking. He's not coward at all, Let's all be thankful to him, coz 120-Hyunju is saved because of him... our 120 is our MVP for this season... And also the Mom she saved Hyunju for not continuing to fight.
So sad that history repeats itself 456 friend (390 Park Jung Bae) are killed just like what happened in season 1 (67 Kang Sae-byeok and 218 Cho Sang-woo).

I think there was way too many characters this season which left little room for development. Like 011 story kind of fizzled out. I guess we will get more in season 3 but they should of done some resolutions this time. Jun ho was definitely wasted :/

and if they were sisters why wouldnt the broker just tell her that "o BTW your sister is dead. and your brother is being raised by this old lady at this address" that and No-eul would have noticed her in season 1.
in addition to everything you said about Noeul and the dad, they also took all of this time to establish Noeul's deep awareness of (but non-involvement in) the organ theft scheme, which suggests to me she might use that knowledge somehow to navigate saving the dad's life

Idk, personally S2 felt a little bit like a letdown. Maybe it’s cuz I thought this season was gonna be longer with a more wrapped up storyline but even what Rob said like the detectives plotline felt so minimal and barely gave us any new info whenever they’re scenes would pop up. It felt like each plot wasn’t as fully fleshed out or delve into compared to last seasons and felt kinda rushed in order to make room for the chaos of the games.
It was only half a season that’s why. I don’t think they marketed it correctly which is why the end feels so jarring.

People keep saying that Dae-Ho has PTSD. I absolutely doubt it. The guy didn't even know how to load the gun in the first place. Besides he never spoke about his "combat" experiences with the others and he would just joke around and salute the other guy like it was all joke to him. He is simply a person who doesn't like violence.
Maybe trauma from his dad cause when Hyun jo reached for the mags he flinched away as if he was gonna get hit. It would make sense with the hints earlier in the season where he seemed uncomfortable talking about his dad who wanted him to man up.
