Thank you, somebody thought of the same BASEketball scene as me comming into the quallifying NHL playoffs. Really looking forward to that two man sack race if it comes down to it.
agvoigt That's because, if I recall correctly from an article I once read about the movie, this scene was written specifically to make fun of college football's BCS.
I think it was a huge pain in the ass to make. Mainly because of the sportscasters being egotistical bitches. They say the same thing about Team America and what a pain in the ass it was to work with the puppets, but my life would not be the same without the joy those two movies have brought me. I’m glad they suffered for us. Lol.
@@FreedomIsAChoice777 Given the fac tthey were producing South Park on the 6 day release schedule while filming it has to be a real bitch to work their schedules to accomodate both.
@TheMisterthoms '23 is looking a lot more clear for the Bills and the Mafia lol AFC East Championship game next week against the Fins... who got straight penetrated today by BAL
So if the Beers beat Detroit and Denver beats Atlanta in the American south western division east northern... Thank God for the two man sack race on consecutive Sundays
Thank you so much for posting this. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to try to explain the clever reference you just made to Baseketball to someone who can't see the clip and is scarcely aware of the film? Well, yeah, you probably do which is why you posted it. 😁
Revisiting this after trying to explain the NBA play-in tournament (I know it's not that complicated, but if you explain all the scenarios for each team, it does become a bit of a head shaker... hahaha).
I love how the entire playoff bracket is in the background while they're trying in vain to make sense of it for the viewer. Or how there are at least seven months worth of baseketball postseason.
Most underrated sport comedy movie of all time.
"And if no clear winner emerges from this, then a two man sack race..."
Easily
The opening bit about "the *first seven months* of the Baseketball *post season"* is *really* easy to miss.
This scene is so good. But it’s the delivery of “consecutive Sundays” that elevates it to legendary.
I love Dan Patrick's head shake when the crazy scenario is being said.

We need a 2 man sack race if there's an overtime game in any sport
Finally, an accurate description of the NASCAR Playoff format
I love that they need a week off between each sack race
I get the impression Matt and Trey aren't particularly fond of this film. They're crazy! It's legendary in the minds of millennials
They probably feel they couldve done it better

I sometimes think they don't like easy, obvious targets. They like being a little more subversive. Sports is a pretty easy target.
Not quiet sure how I got to see this movie back in the day when I live in Scotland, but I love it, so underrated.
Most underrated film...
This is how the current AFC 2022 playoff picture makes me feel with all the Bills scenarios.
And this year?
