As I said this will make things much more performant. Cloth physics in Unreal are soo heavy... losing 30 FPS just from1 ship ( just for the physics sails ) is not scalable at all. It looks good but performs very bad. Now this looks quite amazing and basically has 0 fps drop. Great job!

Yes. I will release a separate pack for a minimal price that will contain animation for all previous ships. On the brig ship, physics does not take away FPS. since the sail was lightened and there were no drawdowns. For demonstration, I put about 10 ships on video in edit mode. with a compiled project everything is even better. The minus of the animation is that there is no reaction to the wind. and preparing an animation package for 4 motion trajectories is expensive.

@@GgAvG That is great. No worries I understand. If you update all the older ships as you said put them in a separate pack, that would be great.

@@GgAvG If you don't mind me asking, how did you do this? I have explored using shape keys for this but I couldn't figure that out, at the moment I'm using a world position offset on the material that doesn't look very good.

@@projectjackdaw2692 you can use both the vertex offset of the shape case and a fully simulated animation, as in this case. Created with a blender)

@@GgAvG did you use bones or shapekays for the animation, I have been trying to import cloth simulation from blender but dont know how.
