Great asset, just cant seem to get the water interaction working
I think that your work is incredible. Do you have tutorials or pre-made environments? I'm also interested in possibly working with you on custom projects.
Thanks) I put everything I have in the store. I learn by myself from my own work and try to improve my skills with each subsequent project)
These models are stunning! Your ships are clearly a labor of love. It is my desperate hope that other devs take these and give them their proper place in sailing games that match their beauty and rigorous detail. It's my firm belief that grounded (not necessarily 1-to-1 authentic) handling and combat can make a fun age of sail sim. These ships prove at least that they can look the part.
Thanks! I totally agree with you) And I hope that the ships will find a use for themselves, and I'm not doing this in vain)
@@GgAvG You already do service to the gaming community by showing us how ships should look. :)
@@tylerwash2573 That's right)
Too bad you show this wonderful video so quick jerking the mouse all over the place. Common mistake
Well, a sample video. And not a rendered recording) There are no smooth mouse movements) especially when you model all day and then try to shoot something))

@@GgAvG Can't you just move the mouse slower. I would've loved to have seen the ship but is just too jerky menu can make another one
@@jeffrenman4146 I think I'll fix it)
Hello, thank you for this amazing model! How can I prevent the water surface from appearing when moving inside the ship? I want to set it up so that it behaves the same way as shown in this video and demo play.
Hello. It all directly depends on what kind of water you use it with. My ships were configured with the Unreal water plugin. I created copies of the water material and added the ship collision subtraction function to them. If you use third-party plugins, you need to read their documentation or ask the sellers directly
@@GgAvG Thank you for explaining. I'm also using the UE5 Water Plugin. However, based on the information I found online, just using DistanceToNearestSurface in the water material to hide the water surface doesn't produce as clean of a result as in the demo. For some reason, I can see a kind of hazy wave effect inside the ship. Is the "ship collision subtraction function" you mentioned something more advanced? Are there any references you used that I could check out online?
perhaps you lowered the boat low and it turns out that you get into the post-water process and the underwater effect turns on? write me an email and I'll show you what to do.
@@GgAvG Thanks, I sent an email including a video showing the situation.
Is that a game or is it an animation?
Greeting. This is a demo version made on unreal engine 5. I created models and demonstrated their work. The models are sold on Fab. Unfortunately, I'm not making a game)
Hello, how many polygons do you use for this corvette, do you model it yourself, and have you some tutorials?
Hello. 1 million is a hull with masts. and about 6 million are volume ropes) I model it myself. There are no textbooks.
Ships are beautiful, very well done.
thanks
The ship dynamics are too arcadey. In Naval Action it is much more realistic in combat mode, I think that a more realistic model of ship behavior will be interesting here too.
May be. but I like a game like black flag. and I make models. I use control and interaction to show the capabilities of this product) and there you can customize it as you wish)
Que épico se ve , bien hecho 🗿👍.
thank you! It is clear that there are not enough good particle effects) but I think I will fix it soon)
A masterpiece, as always. Awaiting to grab it from Fab.
Thanks
Awesome work. I alr have in wishlist some of your ships. This one is not ready yet i suposed.
thanks
Link to buy ?
I'm not ready yet. I think it will be released by the new year)
I just HATE that is for UE 5.4 and not for 5.5.......
Does it not work for you in version 5.5?
@GgAvG i didn't buy it becoue is not specificed 5.5
@GgAvG what guarantee i have that will work..
@@feralhuntgaming THIS works on version 5.5. Fab does not allow me to make changes to the description.

I have own your ship sloop asset is it posiible and how with a bit of work to animate the rope like you did here: 0:07 ?
hi. This is a recorded animation of a gunshot.
Wow.Beautiful work. What page did you get the plans on?
Hi. Thank you. YES, I came across it somewhere on the Internet.
Looks dope, are you building a game or just creating models?
Hi. Models and a little management to them.
Nice work! Are you going to make bigger ships? Frigates, ship of the line, indianman e.t.c?
hello! Yes, at work.
@@GgAvG Great, sir! Thank you for your work. It's masterpiece.
Nice, I downloaded it but am not sure how to open the sails.
Oh nm. I see that how you named them in BP.

Take the helm and press the spacebar to open the sails.
Is this your largest ship? Larger than the Brig right?
Yes. That's right
looks great, when can we sail
Thank you. The project is not being developed. The models are sold on the developer marketplace. www.fab.com/listings/18c837cd-7c14-489c-a1ee-3077f09824cb
It's not heavy, it's my galleon.

Liked and subscribed! I love your work, keep it up!
Thank you!)
It's a nice start, but old black powder cannos should be pouring out immense amounts of smoke, not just flame.
I completely agree with you. Guns work differently) We'll do everything. It only takes time)
Ah the classical diversion tactic. Make your ship appear more powerful than it actually is! Looks good so far.
Yes, the ship is big) There are a lot of things to do with it)
The angle of the mast relative to the hull is also historically accurate. I have no idea where you found the plans but they are utterly accurate
I'm glad you liked it)
Sloops didint usually have a wheel. No reason, more harm tahn usefullness. But the models are wonderfull
Hello) Well, I made several options where there is a steering wheel and where there is none. For convenience.
Hello. It would be interesting to chat with you about ships and their adaptation in UE5
Hi. Write to the mail) Or here in the comments)

thats not how cannons work
you will make your own. then you will show how it should be. 😅😅
Awesome! I'm excited to see the progress
Thank you!)
I'm doing a pirate mod would it be possible to use these models please? They do look very detailed and many polys lower ones would be nice so doesn't lag
Hello. All my models are almost low-poly, the maximum is chamfers and more faces per cylinder within 32 on cannon. There are many polygons only on the cables) If you find it difficult to purchase these items at current prices, you can wait until Black Friday. If epic store launches discounts like last year, it will be good) Thank you for liking my models!
Oooo another ship? I have your others.
Yes, that's right!) It will appear on the new epick website

Water physics across the boat are garbage

@@XRyanC179X correct why stop there
@nathanc4543 who said he stopped bro 😂
if i buy this i can modify the base mesh right ? i mean legaly i am allowed right ?
Hello. Familiarize yourself with the rules of the market.
Looks amazing, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to play it like you do. I bought both your Kutter and this Shooner, set up the water plug-in in UE 5.4.4, then placed water and both ships. The Kutter reacts to water perfectly, while the Shooner is static, floats in one place and has no children attached to it. Am I missing something?
Hello. Regarding mesh binding. This was an experiment. to reduce the load. Put all objects in 1 blueprint or leave them outside and simply combine them into a group. The ship is standing still - You need to return the connection in the blueprint "constant forward movement" event tick connect and then the boat will start moving. If you need screenshots and help, write to the mail. We will sort out the issues there. mainsstoreepick@gmail.com
@@GgAvG The stripped mesh is fine, I was just providing information, I thought I had the wrong blueprint. Upon connecting "constant forward movement", the ship indeed moves forward at a constant rate, but it's more like a kinematic object that just flies forward instead of a physics object that utilizes the water plug-in and buoyancy. Edit: figured it out, for future reference select the Shooner > SM_Beams_1 > tick Simulate Physics Beautiful asset, thanks for the help!
No. So far, I have not set up the interaction of the object as a physical one. The bluprint was assembled to show the possibility and demonstrate My models. that it's not just some kind of static picture for photos) My skills in control settings are not so good yet to make a full-fledged black flag type control. But we will come to this.
