Bro, i want to share a piece of advise with you that two wheelers aren't made for snow clad roads. Put your bikes at your hotel and visit other parts by local traffic. Infact life is better with adventures but someone could lost life by these silly mistakes.
True, it's very risky and uncomfortable as you are completely exposed to the elements on a 2 wheeler

😀 actually I had stuck near Khardungla 2009 in severe snow storm.
Took shelter at BRO smaller roadside cottage. Whole night snow storm at temperatures below --13°C. Bukhari lit by Diesel and a very small window saved my life.
Next morning at 9am a heavy duty truck with snow chain carry us to safe zone. Although that truck slipped twice almost left one innova car in the ditch. Moral
Snow chains must in snow clad way.😀
