Your doing the right thing not oversize the rear rim. These old bikes looks best that way. What bike does the rim come from?
I also made my own caliper stay with m12 stainless threaded bar and hi performance rose joints from that UK company (don't remember the name) Good people anyway. I put some heat shrink covering the threads. Looks quite anonymous or what to say...😂

@@H-M-78 wheel, caliper, caliper bracket and hub are all MK1 Suzuki Bandit. I had to have the hub/sprocket carrier face machined back by 10mm 👍🏻 got there eventually 🤣

Cheers Graham, just done episode 16, completed rolling chassis with rear wheel with proper spindle fitted and lined up, fork extensions and front guard with a walk around outside in some rare sunshine 🤣

Bruh you took the GSXR triple calipers and mounted it on a katana?? THAT'S FREAKIN AWESOME, I wanted to do the same but the price tag turned me off. Do they mount up on the Katana original bracket ( uh damn think they mount to the forks, what is all involved in doing this ??? Please) or ya need the GSXR brackets ??? Damn I wanna STILL do this, Getting close to finishing up my 95 750.....sync and paint are about all that's left. Ah the inverted forks tell the story............

Cheers mate, the front end is a complete gsxr750 Srad. Just had to press the stem out and extend all the threads down by 10mm. Also have fork extensions that drop the forks by 60mm which I fit in the next episode 👊🏻🙏🏻
