Nice vid Greg. I noticed that when you removed the broken piece, it still looked ok. There's a product that I use that's better than crazy glue, you may have heard of it it's called "Q-bond" it comes with a very powerful glue, black powder for plastics, and grey powder for metal repairs. I think it's great to repair RC plastic parts in case of an emergency.

One tip I use on my bikes... get some stiff nylon rod say 3mm (like brushcutter line) and use that as a lean bar. Bend it rearward so it doesn't catch.. Doesn't look too out of place and does a great job of keeping the back wheel on the ground if you tip over hence throttling out and away.
Plenty of RC race bike action on YT to see what I mean.

Losi did a fantastic job with the R&D. We got to play with the sample model at my shop and man is it unreal. So easy to drive and also easy to work on. Every offroad RC enthusiast needs a Losi ProMoto. It's just bad! I have 7 different RC bikes. The Exceed RC dirtbike that has a brushed motor-powered flywheel we converted to brushless doesn't even compete with the Losi ProMoto. My Thunder Tiger nitro-powered rc sport bikes are so hard to control. Losi hit it out of the park with this one.

Great video and information on the bike. Out of the box, my bike would not wheelie. I thought it may have been the cheap/weak battery I was using but that wasn't the case. Another UA-camr suggested tightening up the slipper clutch which worked for about 2 batteries, now I'm back to very short (5 foot long) wheelies or no wheelies at all. I've continued to tighten the clutch until the nut has bottomed out---but my lackluster results are the same. I even took the clutch apart and lightly sanded the discs with 1000 grit sand paper. I run on very coarse asphalt so traction isn't a problem. Just curious if you or any of your viewers have had similar issues. Otherwise the bike is a hoot to drive. Btw, I tried to contact Losi and Horizon with zero success. Thanks again!

Just an idea for gluing the Holeshot to the 2-piece wheel. Instead of using the usual thin CA glue, use a thicker CA that takes longer to dry. Put the tire in the wheel, but NOT in the 'grooves', and screw the wheel together. Next, using a Q-tip (or similar), lay down the CA into the groove on one side of the wheel, coating the bottom, and both sides, and then 'pull' that side of the tire into the groove. Once that side is done, repeat the process for the other side. Once both sides have dried, do a light coating, using the usual thin CA, around the edges of both sides, essentially "sealing" the tire & wheel together. Just an idea worth trying. 🤙🏼

If it was raced on a track with multiple bikes on an actual Motocross style track having the bars off is the way to go. It appears as though with the throttle pinned regardless of orientation other than oaying on its side already it can get upright fairly easily and keeo going. So on a race setting the throttle will be oinned most of the time which would allow for aggressive handling and actaully should be the optimal method for driving it in lue of the need for forward momentum to keep upright. @@joski9030 ya I’m sure it is a bit expensive for some. Sorry you guys have the even higher price! But a lot of the people that ride will pony up the money. Price is relative to one’s income. Some will think it’s expensive some will think it’s cheap.

I think losi or a aftermarket company should make some really short lean bars with the wheels touching like a cm away from the foot pegs that way you would get the better looks with shorter bars but the bike won't tip all the way over where you won't have to do the walk of shame. maybe even some billet aluminum anodized the color of the bike would look awesome

This thing would be so fun at a track with those bars off…. Might feel better when it doesn’t have all those small rocks making it slide out in the corners 🤜🏼🤛🏼 I bet it’d be fun on pavement with those bars off or up highv

It will be great if after market or losi introduce headlight for bike in place of front number plate 💡❤

I wonder what kv it is or if it is a 2 pole or a 4 pole. A 2 pole would be smoother not nearly as tourqie

They put the bars on for a reason. They’ve tested it without before selling it to you. I’ll keep mine on.
