Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

Strategies that Dr. Aria mentions in the video for building psychological resilience:
Cultivate a growth mindset: Adopting a growth mindset means viewing challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than as indications of failure or limitations. This mindset shift can help to build resilience and overcome adversity.
Learn from failure: Instead of viewing failure as a negative outcome, use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Reflect on what went wrong, what you could have done differently, and what you can do better next time.
Reframe negative thoughts: Challenge negative self-talk and reframe it in a more positive and constructive way. For example, instead of saying "I can't do this," reframe it as "I haven't figured out how to do this yet."
Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness practices such as meditation, breathing exercises, or simply taking time to be present in the moment can help to reduce stress and build resilience.
Take care of yourself physically: Getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, and engaging in regular exercise can help to build physical resilience and provide a strong foundation for psychological resilience.
Build a support network: Having a supportive network of friends, family, or colleagues can provide emotional support and help to build resilience.
Embrace discomfort: Stepping outside of your comfort zone and embracing discomfort can help to build resilience and develop new skills and abilities.

I usually listen to any podcast/video in the background - passively - while I am working. This was such a great, truth-hitting video, I have literally set work aside, opened the browser and am ACTIVELY listening and watching this video. This was a GREAT one Ali. thanks to both you and Dr. Aria.

This is my 3rd time listening to this. I just keep coming back because somehow this conversation makes me feel seen. My partner and I broke up 9 months ago. We were together for 5 years. The depression was real and devastating. Fast forward to this day and he already has someone new. The one that Dr. Aria said about fear is so real. That your mind will automatically be on guard because it doesn’t want to go back to that dark place you’ve been to. And once I decided to share this with my closest friends, it became lighter and slowly fades. So simple, yet most of us find it hard to open up. Take your time and welcome the idea of being vulnerable to the people you know will understand and support you.

I rarely comment but This this is what I needed the most. Usually, while I am working, I would listen to music, rarely podcast. But I listen to this podcast today. This podcast 2 hours, but it took me 5 hours to finish the podcast. I would be taking down the notes and replay couple of scene.
I truly felt connection during this podcast. I was able to relate with so many moments. There were times I had huge smile and laugh little. Time, when tear almost came to my eyes because it felt like I finally find the part of the guide to become better version of myself.
I definitely with Ali, when he talked about being yourself vs choosing yourself.
And when he was called by aria. You are a burrito.
Truly it was an enjoyable and learning podcast. I definitely planned to rewatch this podcast, while take down notes and apply it to my life.
Thank you very much to Ali and Aria. 👏🙏
Definitely looking forward to part 2? 👀

Resilience - Accept. Acknowledge. Release. Process. Understand. Grow. Act in line with our Values and our Vision.
What's wrong with cliche :) Interesting that Ali is embarassed :)

It's curious to see Ali repeatedly doubt his ideas as trivial, almost as if he's aspiring towards something better, deeper, more original. When the reality is that it's less about being original, and more about embodying these apparently simple truths and ideas like, joy and truth, and honesty. And he's actually already doing so, which is why he's so relatable to people and popular. Yet still seems to feel inadequate. ❤

I can relate to his moment on the beach. When you've been through trauma, you lose the ability to experience joy in joyful situations. So you lose motivation to participate in everyday experiences. To the point where I think, this talk will probably have a lot of good information, but do I have the time and energy to listen for 2 hours? I'm not trying for high performance. I'm just trying to get back to performance.

@Dr. Aria I am truly sorry for your great loss. It is such a traumatic experience to go through. Unfortunately, four years ago, I actually lost my whole family. My father died on Easter Monday, my sister, my only sibling was taking her two daughters to the dentist and a truck driver had a diabetic coma and he killed all three of them. Thank you God for not letting them suffer. That was in October and in December just a few days before Christmas, my blessed mother died in my arms. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of my blessed mother. I was so angry with God when it happened, but my relationship with God is stronger than ever. I have apologized to God for my behavior. Thanks for all that you do. Susan from Canada
