I can totally relate to the bowl versus a cup issue - sometimes the content is more important than what you were drinking it out of! I guess you would’ve had to of spent a long time in hospital - which I have, at least 12 weeks of this Covid year, to appreciate that one! Best of luck! Plus I too like to look somewhat presentable in hospital - for example I have clothes that I will wear around the house when there won’t be anyone else at home but I would not want to wear in hospital. I will admit I am more religious and more reliable with skincare routine in hospital then at home…
@BethinnEvans I'm so sick of this negative stereotype that ONLY females become chronically sick or suffer injuries such as paralysis. I'm really fed up with especially teenage girls going on UA-cam almost bragging about how special they are for having a serious illness such as cystic fibrosis. I recently left a Facebook group for patients who have had colon surgery simply because the group was in effect dominated by females....in the world according to them I never should have undergone a laparascopic right hemicolectomy back in October of 22 because I'm Gasp!! NOT a female!! But guess what? I DID have to undergo that surgery. The true reason why females especially teenagers tend to effectively brag about their chronic illnesses or injuries is because the female brain is hardwired to crave attention from others because females are in competition with each other for potential mates.
