My Dad had a D6 it was set up for logging this was the late 60S ln very fine condition it was pony motor start he would have one hell of time getting it to run, my older brother had what it took to start it the old man got rid of it I still laugh about it. Nice content sir where do call home. New Sub here.
Back in the seventies my old man had a d6 with the pony motor and the left clutch on it and he had a 9:55 with a pony motor with a loader on it with the arm clutch on it too this is a real good video

Those pony starts can be a beast for sure. This one starts and runs nice. It has other issues of which I started work on.
Good stuff Milt. A real treat to hear the old machine and actually see it move!!
Yes if everything was in better shape that engine sounds great 😊

Thank you for the support and encouragement.
Yep, you're right. Joey Barnes - "King of Obsolete"
I think he recovered two D-6's( the Hood and the Bismark) out of the depths of Raindeer Lake!
@gavinwood558 that would have been a sight when they come out of the lake.
He’s got a lot on the go!
When I found your channel I immediately thought of the King of Obsolete.
I enjoyed the video👍🏻
Wow, thanks!

Wow. I’d like to get mine running on all 3 as well like it was built to do.
Milt, your 15-30 is a bit like me. It does not like dark cold mornings.
I’m amazed it starts at all. Considering all its problems. The belted Case helps!
She cold natured 😊
She don’t warm up easily lol
First time ever seen a tractor run without a manifold. Good watch
I didn’t catch it on video but as I poured gas into the primer cups I spilled a bit. The side of the engine caught fire for a bit.
Hey now that’s cool stuff.
Thank you for watching and commenting. That old MD is a cool piece of technology
It's worth it
