    I was just diagnosed with breast cancer last week, I needed this video right at this moment. I'm sitting at work right now wondering how I'm going to keep going. As a women of faith, it's moments like this I know God hears me.

      Hi, I was also diagnosed with breast cancer at aged 30, and also worked part time out of my own choice during treatment. It was very important to me and I found it manageable. I'm now 6 years healthy. Good luck and all best wishes x

    Well good for you that your treatment kept you alive to talk about it. That isn’t always the case and some have awful struggles through treatment and in the US they have to “show up” at work just to keep insurance that covers the treatments not to mention that they may need the income. Disability coverage here can put many families in a deep financial hole which adds stress to the cancer patient.

    Happy to know that some people can cure them and working but for the majority of workers work is a health problem, stress, polution and many others tricks !

    Work is always my my motivation to live. I don't want to go out so much. My work is learning the languages. And I admire her so much :-0

      You really need to get out more. Or, at least, get yourself a hobby or something.

    В некоторых случаях работа помогает избежать уныния людям страдающим раковым заболеванием. Прекрасная женщина, отличное выступление.

    The trick is to forget about the disease. It doesn't matter whether u work or not during treatment. Forgetting is the hardest part but doable.

    I worked through chemo too and was glad for it. But payroll and disability insurance had fits trying to figure things out lol Congrats, Sarah!

      cplcobra Are you implying that work is only necessary under capitalism? lmfao

    • @gultchScience
      @gultchScience 6 років тому

      i think hes implying living in a capitalist society has caused her to irrationally value work and profit over other things in life. which is a really simplistic way of seeing capitalism and what it does for society ignoring that and everything shes talking about, as her work made her feel valued and like she was contributing and help keep the feeling of control in her hand. and some what distract her from her illness but you know ...Who cares about that.
