David Canto most professors dont get paid enough for that shit, if amything institutions should receive better funding to promote these types of teachings byincreasing Pay. professors are really important for the society, i can even say one of the most important for they pass down knowledge that will help expand future knowledge. Yet they are not respected enough. If only there was more respect for professors is what i think you meant to say
@@juliosantiago7182 I can assure Ninja Nerd earns a fraction of what Profs earn and mostly Med Profs earn quite decent, The pay is obviously less than physicians the job is much less stressful, low risk and stable. The Profs that do this are mostly being lazy.

With the remote learning system being implemented this year due to COVID-19 pandemic, THIS VIDEO IS SUCH A BIG HELP! I'm 3 years too late to say this, but THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You are a gift to medical students.
Thank you. Your videos are my "break/self-care time" during studying for nursing school. I learn more than I need to know but it's so enjoyable. Your videos and your enthusiasm are wonderful. Sincerely, a grateful nursing student
You truly are amazing! Thank you so much, you will never know how many people you have helped. Not just with students but all the people who will benefit from what you have taught us in these video's.
His explanations make so much more sense than lectures for MLT/MT, he literally packages his lectures in a more detailed format, but in a smaller amount of time than some of my instructors managed. . I hope to see more Blood banking, I had a weak BB instructor and always feel like I need to refresh what was taught in the earliest BB class.
+Nellie Collins wow, thank you so much!! No problem, we are so happy we were able to help!! Thank you so much for your kind words! Best of luck in your future endeavors!
I am a medical laboratory scientist and i find this very helpful for my ASCPi licensure exam. Ive been recommending this to my students keep it up! 💓💓💓
I should have started watching your channel when i discovered it . 6 years ago but no, i chose stupidity and wasting time on textbooks that i stay wuth for the whole and not understand a thing. Thank you so much . I'm so grateful and very eager to live here for the next few months ❤
Sometimes I just rewatch ninja nerd videos for a good recap/revision. Great stuff. Y'all help me explain and organize infos in my brain in a better way too. Thanks zach and the ninja nerd team
All the way from our great kingdom KSA 🇸🇦 I send my thank and appreciation for your work and for you, Amazing helpful learning method, keep up clinical coders also need your great support 👏🏻🌟
Went to sleep watching advanced suture techniques to practice, woke up to this guy spouting off about Erythropoiesis and god damn do you have a sub. Just finished another semester's finals and am about to binge your content while I have the time.
I really enjoy your videos. They have helped me a ton in MLT/MLS school. FYI, EDTA (lavender) tube would be better for hematology testing. Blood cells won't stain properly with heparin (green) tubes and cells clump affecting counts.
Thank you, I’m a midwife. I’m teaching a short class on different concerns when treating anemia in pregnancy at our next Peer Review. I found this. It was a well done and fun review!
Top class video 📸...I find peace in your videos....i have watched endocrinology playlist, renal playlist respiratory playlist, reproductive physiology play like and now I'm here....more to watch sir .. thanks alot
Thank-you so much it's been so relaxing after watching your videos. Kindly post such videos more often for all complex theories with simplified explanations. Wishing you good health and tons of success. Keep going👍❤

Since the buffy coat= concentrated area of WBC + platelets obtained through centrifuge, When you donate platelets, are you taking whole blood which is then centrifuged to obtain the buffy coat layer and then centrifuge again to separate the platelets from the WBC?
This is second series of yours I watch. Love that I knew what opsonization meant (from your immunology series) You are an excellent educator. Thank you.
Can a person have anemia and secondary polycythemia at the same time? Also what's the relationship between platelets and rbc? For 7 years my platelets were low while my rbc and hematocrit were normal. Since June 2010, my platelets are now normal while my rbc and hematocrit are elevated. My blood is thick. I have enlarged spleen and liver. My ana is speckled 1:320. Would appreciate any advice. Ive seen every specialist possible. No answers. I keep getting petechial rashes
I actually am curious about blood cells clumping together when spun in the centrifuge? Ive recently been told that when having blood tests I have to let the pathologist know to inform the lab not to spin my blood in the centrifuge on certain tests. I do have pernicious anemia and I also have hypothyroidism. The doctor never did explain why my blood cells clump together.
I just liked, commented, subscribed ..went to instagram and followed (both science and medicine), next will order shirts .....please get accredited....I’d love a Ninja Nerd Diploma put up in my office (merch I would also buy lool) :)
