After all the high cost of flying, we now have to be under these unscrupulous hired employees? How about having cameras in strategic areas where this potential robbery takes place? Don’t even mention about cost. This is THEIR responsibility to hold a high standard that defines them. NEVER check luggage! Humans have become so low.
You are absolutely correct. Let's demand such security or have the uncaring people pay 100% for loss through employee theft..

Do you have proof, to make such a bold statement?
Despite being an adult, my favorite suitcase to travel with is a 16.5" little kids' softside rectangular suitcase that's red, yellow, green, and navy that my grandparents gave me when I was 6. I top it off with a blue luggage strap that I snug down to the max (mainly because the extending handle won't stay down any other way; its also the only way to attach it to my wheelchair). I fly carryon-only whenever I possibly can (I've gotten packing down to a science), and I've only ever had to check it on one trip (and for reasons completely unrelated to the type of ticket I got, how much I packed, or a lack of overhead space - the last is never an issue for me because I'm always the first one onto the plane, one of the perks of being a wheelchair user), but it was glaringly obvious both at the baggage claim (hardly anyone would want to take it - it's a brightly colored little kids' suitcase, after all - especially since it already had a ripped pocket from a previous trip (something I accidentally did, not from tampering)) as well as when it was put on and taken off both planes (I sat directly above the cargo door, so I watched it go in and out on both flights). It has an easily accessible outside pocket, but if someone actually had the guts to open it and reach in, all they would find is dirty underwear.
TSA locks only protect against opportunistic thieves. The keys which open them can be bought from Amazon, and the locks usually have the key number printed on them. Your video shows locks with key numbers 2 and 7, the most common ones.
You're right, it's important to be aware of the limitations of TSA locks.
I always use carry on and roll my clothes to get a lot in , also the best type of case is the pelican style with no zippers and have snap buckles with a reg padlock these are expensive but worth it and come with a carry on version with wheels
I agree with you, packing smart and using quality luggage is essential.
Always lock your bag at your hotel and use tamperproof seal. The only time I got hit was my unlocked a suitcase in my hotel room while I was out.
This is the best advice on the fees and honestly something many people don't think about. It seems like everyone is shady these days
Do NOT keep your valuables in your carry on, as some airlines check in your carry on at the gate, due to space limitation in the aircraft it ends up in the cargo hold. Keep your valuables in your personal item at all times. Ramp thieves look for carry on luggage as they know they contain valuables. Report all theft incidents to airport police.
So you need yet another bag for computer and camera. Where does it stop ?
You are absolutely right. It's important to be aware of the risks, and to take precautions to keep your valuables safe.
So have you actually witnessed a "Ramp thief"?
@@danieleheinen7995Well stop listening to a lot of these UA-cam experts! If there are thieves on the ramp! They are going to get what they want! Best thing to do is to have nothing hanging off your luggage! Decorate your bag to make it look different! Write personal information on the inside of your bag! And remember your luggage is handle by TSA,the conveyor systems, then ramp personnel!

TSA locks are not even remotely secure, and master keys for them are not hard to get.
Best method…learn to fly carryon only.
Yeah. Agreed! I got my luggage and it was locked with a TSA locked but when I received it, one zipper was tampered with. Luckily nothing was missing because I just filled it with hotel freebies and 7-eleven chocolates.
Hard to do if you’re traveling for more than a couple of days.
@ Not true…have been taking 7-10 day trips and cruises carryon-only for several years. Takes planning but can be done. Well packed carryon plus underseat personal item can hold more than you think.
You are right. Carry-on only is the best way to avoid baggage handlers.
I always paint my initials on my luggage along with a picture or logo. I like it but nobody else wants it!! It is easy to find on the carousel that way!!
I’ve never seen anyone do that! Creative idea.
Good
You’re absolutely amazing thanks look is 4 years I don’t got to Colombia from London every thing changed zipper are not good any more well I got my aluminium luggage cost more money but there no zippers thanks very mucho 🙏 Amen
My last trip a brand new winter top was stolen. Years ago my jeans and new tops were taken…. There is no recourse. Take pictures before you go….
Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Baggage handlers steeling is unacceptable.
Oh really?
"stealing" not steeling
(I'm a retired English teacher... Sorry, but I can't help correcting misspelled words... Lol)
Never use luggage with zippers. Hard shell with combination latches
Even in cargo too shipment they steal from box it happen to my brother they stole 6 leather backpack
Broker said that how it is
Supervisor need to take action if you steal you go jail it is not their property
Take nothing of value keep your nice bags for home and go with a regular cheap one that nobody will want to sell. Clothes in your suitcase just get cheaper clothes for traveling. There's nothing we can do about it so all we can do is not make anything valuable to steal.
@ wear-house need smart camera
People who steal from shipping will do again
I am sure one day they will caught
They do but airports have a store where they sell unclaimed luggage, but they're taking advantage of that unclaimed loophole so they're taking stuff themselves along with their employees. So that's why you just can't take anything of value at all.
Supervisor job is to keep his team with good work and watch his employee
Under his leadership that his job
Wear house employee need stop stealing stop stealing
Does not matter if it valuable or not
But wearhouse employee stop stealing
@ Sadly because the airports are doing it then it's no wonder why the employees steal too because they can. I always take photos of everything even my suitcase and everything i put inside so if they put it in the back intending to sell it they know the fact i can prove it exists they have to give it back or questions will be asked.
If you get your bag wrapped in Saran Wrap what happens when TSA wants to examine the bag? Did you just waste $15?
Pretty much lol and it totally happens at random which suitcases they search. Don't bother with padlocks either they break them off and TSA ones are no good when they have a master code. You can significantly decrease the chances of a search by putting nothing with metal in your suitcase not even anything with metal zips. And don't do the army roll with your clothes even if some people do like they could see it as weird your clothes bunched up like that.
Some people like bringing their coat hangers too i tried it once but i think it's better not to bring any to save space but it got my suitcase searched. Don't take any designer clothes, shoes, or bags either because they'll get stolen and again reduce the chance of your suitcase being opened. It's about preventing the scanners from going off. Just put in your towels, clothes, and a pair of flip flops which can also be put in your carry on bag which is what i do to save space in my suitcase and i don't want them stolen lol.
If you bring back gifts try not to bring anything back like jewelry but if you do you can pretend it's yours by using a organza gift bag and keep it in your bag, i use them every time for any pieces of jewelry i take although it's best not to take much either.
@@Harteo3917I guess I'll just stay home 🤷🏼♀️
I gotta tip - stay home and garden.
I love watching videos where I can see kislux different knockoffs. If it looks well made, it saves time and I can reconsider if I really want to buy it, or buy the real thing. If you have the time, it would be great to keep watching more videos like this
No matter if your suitcase is hard or soft, they can open / close it without you noticing it. Staff working in security areas should pass clearance, still they are the ones who causes a lot of trouble. Thanks to an undetected Tag I knew where, what time my suitcase has been opened...it is a mafia bunch working together around the world..
A few days ago I found a bag that was almost the same design as my dream bag, but the price blew my mind. I have a soul resonance with kislux . It taught me that beauty doesnât have to be expensive, it just has to be right.
If you wrap the luggage and the TSA open it for inspection.
This was very helpful for me, thank you
Glad to help!
Just subscribed 😊
Now mostly NON ZIPPER type suitcase ..thieves can't easily open it..(i think)i used different lock numbers too
Odd numbers of travellers from Thailand and Indonesia cime home with the suitcases containing suspicious parcels.
I've just purchased a set TSA007 master keys. Sadly, these locks are now no safer than safer than any other
I dont think TSA locks are safe,
as all copies of TSA keys have already been leaked to public,
and hence a thief with all TSA keys can get into any TSA lock,
while the thief wont be able to unlock all non TSA locks .
Which means that TSA locks are more easier to be opened by the thieves,
compared to non TSA locks
Thanks
I number my items and take pictures of them so rats don't touch them😅
How will TSA examine a case that's been wrapped then ??
Why no csmera or ssecirityy i baggage?
Get yourself a Suitcase Cover like really lol because it took 1 trip for them to get multiple scratches on my suitcase including the brand plate on it all scuffed up, several tarmac marks, and all kinds of scuffs on the shell casing that looks like it was just slid across the runway floor with force. I just bought one with a zip at the bottom and two holes at the top for the handles it cost me more but it's a good one and of course they're all washable. However the plastic on the handles got scuffed too and i'm thinking to wrap them with some pink duct tape.
Really nobody looks after our stuff anymore and it could be a hardcase and people have even had huge gashes all way through the suitcase like What on earth do they do with them?. My mum has even had them cut a hole in the side of her hand bags at security so i think maybe they're using a stanley knife to cut through and then reaching their hand in to feel around for anything valuable, and luggage handlers are allowed to have scissors and stanley knives. So it would be a good idea to get a Suitcase Cover.
My sister got her stuff stolen out of her bag.
Yeah, hotels have rats and raccoons who are watching after your bags. My husband lost his two Sony Headphones in Guam. Can you believe it?
You say get unique luggage, then you say your luggage must not stand out as it may be stolen or targeted 🙃🤔
😃🤣🤣🤣 There is SO much wrong with this video.Did they spell "travel" wrong? Sorry Park and Post. AirTags are worth it but not for the reasons they state. You can immediately check if your bag has made it to the airport. If not, you will be first in line to file the claim.
Luggage wrapping in YARDS OF PLASTIC is terrible for the environment.
Be responsible. Don't do it.
never put your adress because thiefs know yoy are away, only phone and mail
to buy so expensive Aeroplan ticket and the thieves to stolen bags? Nowadays are cameras around everywhere how thieves dare ? Security sleeping , there isn't control in those places but driving us crazy?
To long video, get to the point.
Half of their points here are invalid, too (e.g - TSA approved locks), or have nothing to do with theft (e.g - removing old tags, which is correct, but missrouting isn't theft).
Since becoming a mom, I've learned to be both budget-conscious and stylish. kislux bags help me find the perfect balance between parenting and myself. They are both stylish and affordable, a true choice for moms.
NEW SCAM. Thieves lurk around the baggage claim area waiting for bags to come out before passengers have made it to the carousel area. They are looking for flights whose arrival gates are the furthest away. They grab the bag and rush to the DEPARTURES drop-off area and wait for their ride. Nothing stopping them. So make sure your bag is old and beat-up looking. Investment luggage is not the "investment" you think it is.
Good tip. I think I will opt to actually buy a second hand suitcase to check in which will be in a drab color and in my suitcase I will fill it with my feminine products, disposable menstrual pads, disposable bladder pads, disposable incontinence underwear, and some drab clothes. I will fill my suitcase with stuff that no one would want.
This is alot of repeated info from your previous videos. Shorter videos get more hits
I am always looking to improve my content, I appreciate your thoughts.
