best seats are in the cockpit

I chose the back seats every time I fly because it is easy to access to the bathroom and most of time there are some empty seats to lay down.

Lots of old clothes in mine. Plastic necklace, cheap earrings. Anything valuable goes in my hand luggage.

Despite being an adult, my favorite suitcase to travel with is a 16.5" little kids' softside rectangular suitcase that's red, yellow, green, and navy that my grandparents gave me when I was 6. I top it off with a blue luggage strap that I snug down to the max (mainly because the extending handle won't stay down any other way; its also the only way to attach it to my wheelchair). I fly carryon-only whenever I possibly can (I've gotten packing down to a science), and I've only ever had to check it on one trip (and for reasons completely unrelated to the type of ticket I got, how much I packed, or a lack of overhead space - the last is never an issue for me because I'm always the first one onto the plane, one of the perks of being a wheelchair user), but it was glaringly obvious both at the baggage claim (hardly anyone would want to take it - it's a brightly colored little kids' suitcase, after all - especially since it already had a ripped pocket from a previous trip (something I accidentally did, not from tampering)) as well as when it was put on and taken off both planes (I sat directly above the cargo door, so I watched it go in and out on both flights). It has an easily accessible outside pocket, but if someone actually had the guts to open it and reach in, all they would find is dirty underwear.

You say get unique luggage, then you say your luggage must not stand out as it may be stolen or targeted 🙃🤔

to buy so expensive Aeroplan ticket and the thieves to stolen bags? Nowadays are cameras around everywhere how thieves dare ? Security sleeping , there isn't control in those places but driving us crazy?

Don't try to carry $190K through airport security. Whether it's the TSA, FBI, or police, if law enforcement sees you with a large amount of cash they'll say it's drug money and confiscate it. Good luck getting it back. Keep it in the bank and don't withdraw it until you're at your destination and really need it.

I just got things stolen while going through TSA in chicago. They got my earrings, glasses, fashion diamond ring and 60 bucks that was all in a ziplock i had in my personal item bag. Rotten person.

I've traveled with documentation which the TSA ignored. They've never questioned the amount of each medication but have questioned the number of each type. The officers are not interested in anything you have to say; just shut up & send it thru. They can confuse themselves.

I see a lot of new rules for travel but they mostly related to U.S. domestic and Europe, but what about travel in the rest of the world?

Unfortunately, I've had TSAapproved locks left unlocked by whoever it was who inspected my luggage. The locks have been hanging, open, when I've claimed by baggage at the end of the trip. I've been lucky in that nothing has ever been pilfered from my checked luggage.

My last trip a brand new winter top was stolen. Years ago my jeans and new tops were taken…. There is no recourse. Take pictures before you go….

Want make sure your checked bag does not get lost. Put a gun in it. You declare it at the ticket counter. it's passed off hand to hand thru TSA and put on the plane. When you get to your destination. You go to baggage claim and someone brings it to you

I love the window I have no problem I the plane . Sometime I help passengers to set her movie seat all kinds of. Even offered me job me to be flight attendant. I’m fully retired and pay big tax . I don’t like flying but it’s the only way . Oh lord I have bad allergies from food to scents of the peoples and bad breath. That’s horrible glad the attendant move . So horrible smell and she lets beautiful.

I used mu military card good international and if I’m sick I can see any doctors in the world .I have all priorities. Any issues I will speak to the big time who wear suit . Global security concerns? Allowing mass migration on the scale we have seen over the last few years makes a mockery of national or international security and airport checks. The only thing a passport/ETA/visa does is control the law abiding travellers, keep tracks on inidividual motility, and cause headaches for those dealing with the changes.

It would have been better if this presentation was clear about citizens from which country (passports) flying to where. UA-cam has a global audience. So when you say "travelers" and talk about some 7 dollar application, are you applying to Canadian/America flying to Europe??? Be clear and say that.

Lots of whining here about tsa. Do I like going through the line, no. But it's what you're going to do. Get over yourself. I fly once, maybe twice per year so not a lot. But, I've made up my "system". First, be plesant with the screeners. You'll be surprised at how far that goes. Belt, watch and shoes off when I'm maybe 10 people from where you get the tubs. My wallet sticks out out the top of my shoes, I can see it before I take the tub off the belt. My phone is in the tub along with the charger and power bank, all in different corners. True, tsa has limited power, but they also have radios. Anything they need that you don't do, the police will be there shortly to make sure you do it or you leave the airport. I got the dreaded SSSS once, it was (I think) I bought the ticket and traveled in the same 24 hour period. Did it bug me, yes. I was going to see my dying father. Acting like a jerk wouldn't have achieved anything.

The qualifications for TSA employees are extremely stringent. You must be able to breathe without artificial aids, you must pass a 3rd grade level examination and promise not to steal more than you need.

I always choose the window seat on the exit row. It has all of the benefits of the window seat, plus extra leg room. Also, because it's an exit row, I don't have to worry about a screaming toddler sitting next to me on my flight.

Always lock your bag at your hotel and use tamperproof seal. The only time I got hit was my unlocked a suitcase in my hotel room while I was out.

How does my United States passport have my fingerprint associated with it? I’m Andrew. I just renewed mine in December of 2023. I’ve never been fingerprinted to renew my passport. I am glad that online renewal is an option for my next renewal. I never did like mailing everything (including a check). My recent renewal got delayed because I forgot to sign one of my forms embarrassed 😅.
