Why is it that most of the reviews of this kit always neglect the fact that the emergency pod has a little switch to rotate the pilot figure into a more vertical position when it's installed inside of the mobile suit?
+정우재 i don't think the rx 78 was supposed to have waist movement iirc cmiimw the first gundam to have waist movement in the canon is gundam mk ii, it stated that before the the gundam mk ii all mobile suit previously have their armor on top of their armor without much consideration about their movability, only after mk ii they decide to graft the armor based on the frame to allow more complex movement
I watched the anime, it really almost isn't like any other gundam series. Apart from the fantastic animation, the story is also kinda dark and it paints the really sad and painful story of war, where you really feel it when lives are lost...
If you like Thunderbolt, watch MS IGLOO (1 & 2) that has similar darker story set in UC OYW. But you might be turned off by the CG characters. And MS IGLOO 2 is a bit weird with the Shinigami character, not unlike the later part of the Thunderbolt manga which is also weird.
Errr it's really just like any other UC Gundam, the difference is just the OST and amazing animation, but that's about it when it comes to difference, everything else was there from the beggining, only done better because of the time frame.
The white with a tint of blue goes well with the space theme. It's nice the cameras go all the way front and back. I also prefer the finger swapping. You forgot to mention that the cockpit can rotate forward. No bend at the waist could be a due to them deciding to keep it more stable; especially with armor parts added. Overall I think the problems stem from the use of the vinyl joint covers.
It's been two years and four months, I havent seen my kids since this came out due to waiting for part two. Mecha please, i'm so hungry for the jazz.....
They look like standard HG joints on the arms and have a similar look for the knee joints. The leg and ankle joints look decent but not great without the vinyl.
Hey Mecha, I just built my RX-78-02 a few days ago. Is this kit worth it? Because I'll have to wait about six months on my minimum wage before buying a master grade. Should I get the Unicorn (OVA Version), Nu Gundam, or the Thunderbolt? By the way, Thunderbolt is anti EFSF propaganda.

IMo: FA78 Gundam Thunderbolt have the RX 78 ver. 3 woth the Face GP01 Gundam Zephyranthes. I thing Gundam Atlas is more handsome and looks more cool especially if they have in RG or MG version.
i really don't get why you have to go into details regarding the articulation. i mean, if you've been building gunpla you know what to expect. i think it's better to just highlight if there's something lacking or something really extreme with the joints. you get tired of listening the same shit over and over again.

I know I am 2 years late replying, but he mentioned towards the end of the video that it was codeboya's (probably spelt completely diferantly to that) LED sword and he would be doing a review of it soon, that was not far off 2.5 years ago and it has not yet arrived, same as part 2 of this review. To be fair, if it were articulated in the waist, once you got the backpack on it'd only lean back. (even with the action base)

The hg psycho zaku has waist articulation, and it has that exact ptoblem
