The GCR HST looks good, but there’s just something about it that gives me an uncertain opinion! The GCR sounds are definitely much better but the SCR HST looks very luxurious with animated door windows as well! Good comparison though! :D

It's because gcr work at other trains and map, they finally make a huge update - version 1.2 but later I know, he do fantastic interior!
One massive thing that needs to be noted is that GCRs HST was done in Roblox studio and SCRs was done in Blender, both very different tools.
Looking at what has been done, the shape on GCRs is very good for CSG

Obviously.. SCR has a fine touch in details than GCR for Class 43(while I play SCR, I always prefer to sit in First class in any express train including 43)
In terms of sound, scr is good, although gcr has better sounds like smooth transition from no sound to sound and a major pro in my opinion, the ability to play both low horn and high horn, The scr hst only plays the high horn, which is weird as most of the other trains play both horns. So in conclusion, the GCR HST has much better sounds while the scr hst looks cooler

The seats are a bit like that as the scotrail ones have been upgraded
The seats on the SCR one looks like the ones they have on GWR. First class seats also looked like when GWR has those HSTs for the intercity services from London Paddington but the standard class ones look like GWR HSTs and maybe Scotrail as well.
One thing to point out: the SCR one has animated windows
you havent seen 1.2 in gcr cash, its so much better, i actually prefer the gcr one alot better as the game doesnt lag awfully for me and it actually has realistic breaking and stuff, and also the cab i can admit is a bit plain but this was recorded before the 1.2 update so yeah, you might wanna check the new 43 in gcr, its epic (im just saying that as that clip of the class 43 is like a few months old now lol)

The HST before 1.2 wasn't in scotrail livery so it had so be 1.2 or are you talking about the pullman one?

If it was the intercity liveried GCR HST it would put up more of a fight tbh
SCR's HST is better, but there are only 2 things about (SCR, Stepford Express) IC 125 sets:
1. Staff room in power cars could've been used for a guard
2. Bland kitchen in buffet choach
i think everyone who says that scr is better. jsut keep in mind with that incident of roblox physics bouncing off scr trains, and also i tried scr and running it on an old computer, it was so laggy i couldn't belive it, scr has way more issues than gcr
I do like both, but the GCR HST is better. But that doesn’t stop me from liking the SCR HST.

Scr's HST(43) is more better in my opinion cuz its more realistic, has a luxourious first class and effort
I would also like the old model(bef v1.7) they have a nice model, even the first class looks nice on the old model

you forgot about the Buffer version in SCR
HST Cabs are quite basic in real life so the SCR devs haven't done a too bad job. In terms of sounds the recordings aren't bad on the SCR one but the implementation is quite poor.

I love playing gcr
I have lived with the HSTs for ages, the SCR sounds are really sad. The acceleration is stolen from AP and the horn is from a HST but cuts half way through the tone. ua-cam.com/video/uez5VKwhMTY/v-deo.html < Link to where the tone came from. Go to timestamp: 4:28 for the horn. There fore why I think the GCR HST is better.

gcr has won, sure the interior may have let it down but the sound and looks are amazing while scr has won by interior it sounds are very lacking and the train just doesn't fit in scr therefor i think gcr has won
Not to mention in GCR you can actually sit in the Window seat, unlike SCR.

GCR - 1 SCR - 0 (i prefer the GCR livery)
*INTERIOR*
GCR - 1 SCR - 1 (it has good seats, a first class and a detailed cab)
*SOUNDS*
GCR - 2 SCR - 1 (it has a good horn, nice acceleration sound, even a release brake sound)
GCR wins for me
TBH the GCR 43 would won bc if u count the blue pullman addition it has amazing horn sounds tho

scr is kindaa gcr copy bc gcr was made in 2016 whereas scr was made in 2017. i rate the 43 in gcr as better bc the mtu engine is very realistic and i like the touch of an inter7city livery, the 43 cab on gcr cant have many assets inside of it bc that would cause lag. the scr model is a mesh anyway.
