Big SK fan here. SK SuperKrome was done by the same company that does Harley-Davidson chrome (before 2021). The VIM hub set looks promising.

I bought the plier holder's about 2 months ago and the kinpex wire strippers over a year ago and I use them all the time
It would great if M.T.N. had a directory for independent dealers so we could find a dealer in our area, even if we had a place to leave our contact info so the local independent could see who needs something in their area.

My quinn wire stripper was 17 bucks same exact tool as the mac and knipex version u showed I use to own the mac one I sold it cause I couldn’t justify $60 for a copy of the same exact tool for $17 but either way great video! Congratulations on the new tools! Cheers!
Those plier racks are the best I got mine from tekton back when they were cheaper but man that hi viz would look good with my tsunoda hi viz pliers

Haha I’m sure you have seen them on the tool trucks, just know it was them. Lots of their stuff is rebranded by the big 3. Same tool just pay the tool truck tax for it.
Take a look at the Weicon wire stripper similar to that Knipex. I tested them side by side and was much happier with them than the Knipex. Though generally I am a big Knipex fan those missed the mark when tested over a wide variety of wire sizes and types.
Clay, for a DIYer any thoughts on Harber Freight's Doyle brand pliers, or Northern Tool's Klutch brand pliers and great impact sockets?
Nothing wrong w harbor freight. I actually went there yesterday and picked up some stuff.
R.B.R.T…on all the tool trucks! I picked up Craftsman version yesterday. I think they called it “X-Trac Technology”. It would of be great to have MacDaddy Micheal fill in today. 😂

Be careful with the koken wheel nut sockets if the nuts are overly tight. I have cracked about two of them
Just warranty them out. They have to make them slim to fit in these “fancy wheels” everyone wants and obviously that will cause them to break easier.
Heard from my snap on guy, you got your snap on guy fired that’s why there’s no videos of him, getting drinks with him during the day while he’s working, good thing he builds houses lol 😂
Your Snap On guy is full of shit, that is a complete lie. He got out because he wanted out and he was still under contract. But him having a beer during the end of his work day on Friday had nothing to do with it. I was his last stop of the week on Friday.
Super glue the blades in would be my recommendation for the wire cutters - for the price they are cheaply made and the blades tend to fall out carrying the cutter across the shop floor. Knipex failed for sure on that tool
I personally have the SK wrenches that I bought about 6 years ago. They were the long pattern wrenches. The open ends spread a tremendous amount under any type of load. And for a USA wrench, I am deeply disappointed. The box end works good. But the open end, don’t put any stress on them and it will spread and either round off or piss you off.
The finish is very nice, and smooth. But looking back…kinda wished I would’ve just bought Snap on or Wright tool wrenchs

MATT ~ I have many S•K wrenches both old and new and I've never had that issue b4. It's possible you received a bad batch set of wrenches with impure/improper metallurgy.
Those wrenches still carry a Lifetime Warranty from S•K. I would either contact them directly, or fill out a warranty form on S•K's website. They should take care of ya!

I though sk loopholed the USA tag by changing the name to Sk USA before thr sell off
I like my old sk wrench’s but they are to over priced imo. I’d rather spend money on proto or snapon. Imo sk has there stuff priced so high so they can stay around.
