After watching this video, there’s a bunch of tools I didn’t even know they made. I got a lot of buying to do Great company, good tools, awesome warranty can’t ask for more than that
Those guys are awesome. The company as a whole is fantastic, I will say this if it is stamped “VIM Tools” you are safe to say you will be in good hands in the case you ever have an issue.
The only crappy part of their warranty is the fact you have to pay $9.95 shipping regardless. If I break a single socket or bit in a set it's either pay more than the one socket is worth or have one missing in the set.
if you cant get it local dont get it. you will be paying 10-15+ for replacement sockets. i know as i have the big mechanic set. the times i have had to warranty out the torx its been 10-15 bucks for replacements. buy something else local or stick to the trucks.
Very proud of all my VIM. THANK YOU for making the packaging smaller. It doesn't take 200in2 of shelf to package five mountain wrenches. I'm tired of paying for tools in quality storage cases that i can't use b/c i don't want to waste the space in my box. Then i have to find space on a shelf full of empty blow molded cases and foam to store the packaging. It's attention to detail like this that i look for in my tools today, not the brand stamped on the side.
As a tech that lives in the Tampa area. I love that there is a local quality tool company. Been telling my local trucks to start carrying these tools and id buy them, purchased some organizes and the collapsable stool. Love it!
I live here in Tampa but buy most of my VIM Tools from Joe's All Star Tools in Savannah TN ! I Love That Guy ! Nice work Clay ! "LIKE" button has been torqued to the manufacturer's recommended specification. "CLICK". God forbid you should be running around the Golf Courses here in Western FL with a loose "LIKE" button !
Ok brother, im sold. I do not own any VIM tools but there are a few sets that i am very interested in. Those bit sets and the combination box/ratchet wrench sets need a home in my box. Excellent video brother, thank you. Very informative.
Just remembered Mr Joe needed the shoulder fixed so no Joe Monday!!! But I’m glad you found something interesting to keep us drooling over the new tools coming out!!! You rock Clay!!!!
Just got my vim shm400A (stubby 1/4 hex set) in today!(ive been borrowing a coworkers for a while now wen needed) Cant wait to use them! As a vw tech we need these for the tight spots in places like rear breaks and theyre just great hex all around
Sir, thank you again for the vid, I always enjoy new tools, concepts, etc!!! I wish we had a guy like Joe! Am sure you have a lot on your plate, please keep the vids coming!!
i have a set of the 1/4 inch bits i was doing a engine on a volvo and had to take the head off and that was my only triple square 12 so i used adapters to fit it on my milwaukee and it got the head bolts out no problem i was extremely shocked when it didnt break! after that vim has my respect and always keep a eye out for there stuff.
No they are “inexpensive” tools but definitely not low quality. There’s no way all the tool truck brands would be putting their name on them if they weren’t good tools. Many people have bought VIM Tools under the tool truck brands and don’t even realize it.
Love vim stuff been using it for a long time they are a staple in a European technician’s toolbox for sure, have some stuff from 10 years ago that I have heavily abused and have not had to warranty anything
I don’t buy vim tools first they don’t fit well in my box second they just don’t last. Seems like every set I bought broke way too easy be nice if I could test tools for them in my small shop. Thanks for the great video have a safe week
Man i was not expecting a treat like this today! love all the information and enthusiasm from the guys at VIM! i didnt know those ratcheting wrench extensions existed. im a subaru guy so a 1/4 body with a 3/8 head is my got to spark plug ratchet but these extensions will make that job a cake walk! thank you for the awesome video clay!
This right here is a great example of American family owned company that to be profitable has too make their product line overseas and there is not a thing wrong it.This company has almost 30 empolyees and their family company gives alot other Americans a job because of the Vim products.Good Job Vim Tools
I have the vim vhc77 and it has absolutely paid for itself and saved my ass In tighter tricky situations.. I have a list of the stubby half cuts I want to get as my budget allows it.. love vim and I’m a snappy fan boi.
I've been selling these VIM Tools since 1992 and they are not only excellent in workmanship nut also affordable in price, and the warranty in second to none ... Very impressed with this video and the people behind the product .
Guy with the green hat, very level headed calm and articulate. Guy in the red, can’t even let koon finish his questions before he starts yapping, talks in circles and cuts everyone off. Keep green hat guy for face of marketing and red shirt guy behind the computer desk.
@luislopezjr1626 Great to hear!! My dealer has a bunch on order for his trucks that guys have been waiting for. Also do you guys plan on making a no skip set of those flex head ratchet and fixed head wrenches?
Clay there is nothing better than a mechanicTermed tool Salesman Man you missed your calling I still say you should have bought Hamilton's Tool truck I don't own any VIM branded tools yet if you were selling them and standing behind them i would buy them long but cool video as usual 👍😎👍
They are a great tool line and as you can see they are passionate about tools. If it has VIM Tools stamped on it, they take pride in it not only as a manufacturer but also in the warranty. Give them a shot, I promise you won’t be disappointed
What really won me over besides actually seeing a face behind the tools your spending your hard earned money for was the fucking breaker bar for wrenches they don’t make so other company’s will have to warranty them out lmao
I asked my Matco guy about the VIM 1/2 ratchet kit they showed in the video that extends and has different attachments but he couldn’t find it anywhere. Is that available yet Clay. Thanks for all you do
I'm a proud owner of at least 5 or 6 sets of vim tools and will continue. Seem extremely durable and high quality. I like those ratcheting hollow frame wrenches. Too much to take in in a single viewing, will listen more though!
Gentlemen, I’d like to see a rubber faced oil cap wrench for late model cars and trucks with plastic valve covers. Something hard enough to grip but not mar or gall when you have to pull hard on that oil cap. Maybe expand that into a hot radiator cap wrench or pliers to keep from getting burnt. Save that towel from a splash of hot coolant. You’d need multiple sizes for both.
The long flex head ratcheting wrenches need to include 15 & 18 MM. Those are pretty common sizes on late model vehicles not to include in the set. Why didn't you make the shorter ratcheting wrench set in the same style as the long pattern version fixed boxed end/flex head ratcheting boxed end? Sometimes the long pattern wrenches are too long to use in certain applications.
I have two suggestions: 1)create and market a Harley basic kit. Either exchangeable bit screwdriver or T handle type of deal to include T20, T25, and T27 as well as 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 hex bits. 2) some sort of JIS bit kit or screwdriver set.
I can't agree more!
The only crappy part of their warranty is the fact you have to pay $9.95 shipping regardless. If I break a single socket or bit in a set it's either pay more than the one socket is worth or have one missing in the set.
I hope the tools are amazing but the prices are not. You have been shafted
if you cant get it local dont get it. you will be paying 10-15+ for replacement sockets. i know as i have the big mechanic set. the times i have had to warranty out the torx its been 10-15 bucks for replacements. buy something else local or stick to the trucks.
They have the best torx drivers ever. The grips on them actually work and they seat themselves perfectly.
The company is in good hands with the son! And he’s a coyote guy! Definitely will purchase some VIM stuff from cornhole!
👍

Excellent video brother, thank you. Very informative.
Give ‘em a shot you will see why tool trucks rebrand them!
"Low profile, tight access tools" is definitely thinking with their noodle!
Just remembered Mr Joe needed the shoulder fixed so no Joe Monday!!! But I’m glad you found something interesting to keep us drooling over the new tools coming out!!! You rock Clay!!!!

Every VIM tool I bought, zero complaints with and have held up well for me.My local Parts Plus auto parts store sells VIM tools and will warranty them
Big adjustable for the half inch extendable would be freaking awesome damn it just take my money!!!

It’s very cool innovation I love that extendable stuff

Very cool video good to see young people in the industry. Those two guys are great.
They have some badass tools for sure!
I have quiet of bit of VIM tools and I love them
Hey man, awesome video! To the VIM team, great products and positive energy!
Daaamn and all this time I was thinking vim was a low grade tool company! Well I’m definitely a buyer now
No they are “inexpensive” tools but definitely not low quality. There’s no way all the tool truck brands would be putting their name on them if they weren’t good tools. Many people have bought VIM Tools under the tool truck brands and don’t even realize it.
Very interesting products wish more was made in the USA
Would be nice if they would make a 3/8 thin wall flip socket set for lug nuts.
Do those ratcheting wrenches come in sae? I was trying to buy a lot of sae tool and 12 point because i mainly use that in aviation.
Cool stuff
RFW200 Line Flare nut sockets Please develop more awesome tools like these thanks VIM

They remind me of old S&K Tools
In regards of Knipex it is correct to actually speak out the K. It is Knipex not nipex.
I need vim tools I heard lifetime warranty and I’m all for it
How bout if I live in bradentucky and can drive half an hour can I get them warrantied the same day ??
Great guys! Great tools! Great video! If I was the owner of the company I would be proud to have them employed!! Keep innovating!
Vim has it going on!
Need VIM to make a 3/8 anvil in a 1/4 body to rival koken's ratchet.
He’ll see the big board!
There my favorite tool com. By far...
have they thought of trying to move into the aussie market
I have the vim vhc77 and it has absolutely paid for itself and saved my ass In tighter tricky situations.. I have a list of the stubby half cuts I want to get as my budget allows it.. love vim and I’m a snappy fan boi.
The FRB89 set is a great set to go with the VHC77
I've been selling these VIM Tools since 1992 and they are not only excellent in workmanship nut also affordable in price, and the warranty in second to none ... Very impressed with this video and the people behind the product .
Those box/flex-ratchet wrenches look like rebranded japanese Tone RMA400Ls. Lots of cool stuff though
I want to win that ratchet! LOL!
I'm with Mike from VIM.. I pronounce Knipex the same way he does
just got the dfxl100 wrench set today, really wish it came with a 19, had to order it separate
Guy with the green hat, very level headed calm and articulate. Guy in the red, can’t even let koon finish his questions before he starts yapping, talks in circles and cuts everyone off. Keep green hat guy for face of marketing and red shirt guy behind the computer desk.
Wish the cutout wrenches were also made in SAE. I work in aviation, we don’t have metric on anything!
I’m certain they will see this comment 😉
Same industry and im really interested in those double box with one side ratcheting in SAE. Gonna have to keep an eye out.
I’ve been trying to get the impact 50 for months from my truck.
IMPACT50's INCOMING. all current back orders should be filled and in your hands by the end of September, most likely sooner
@luislopezjr1626 Great to hear!! My dealer has a bunch on order for his trucks that guys have been waiting for. Also do you guys plan on making a no skip set of those flex head ratchet and fixed head wrenches?
50:50 Clay wondering if he can brake clean the handles...
You read my mind!
I clean tools with a damp diesel fuel rag and wipe dry with other side or separate rag.
Do they have adjustable prybar head for the adjustable breaker bar, if not they should make it.
Hey does anybody have any info on the die grinder disk that was on a few episodes, months back
I think it was dimond and would cut and grind
CTA has those
RFW Aviation version would be legit!!
that irs100 looks JUST LIKE MY TONE set btw i love my japanese tools also gnna check out that stubby vim impact bit masters set.
Do u guys have those flexhead ratchets in SAE. Do u make tools with aviation techs in mind?
Lol when you said Scooby Doo they looked at you like what ????😅
Young bucks…. Haha
Thanks for all you do
It’s just now becoming available if he’s part of the Mobile Tool Network he can get it
Ok thanks he says he is I really appreciate you getting back to me thank you
I'm a proud owner of at least 5 or 6 sets of vim tools and will continue. Seem extremely durable and high quality. I like those ratcheting hollow frame wrenches. Too much to take in in a single viewing, will listen more though!
Bueno tool amigo God
What’s the part number for that one piece bit driver set? With the sp2 and sp3?
I wish I had more independent tool dealers! My shoe is down to only a snap on dealer!
Technically you can go slimmer to fit more wrenches. or include more sizes and just make more slots. do you have those wrenches DFXL100 in SAE?
The VHC77 set could use a case size reduction.
Just when I thought I was done buying tools, I see this video lol
I hear that a lot!
@@KoonTrucking that just means you’re putting out quality, informative content!
Gentlemen, I’d like to see a rubber faced oil cap wrench for late model cars and trucks with plastic valve covers. Save that towel from a splash of hot coolant. You’d need multiple sizes for both.
Where’s at non extendable wrench extender they showed at SEMA for bigger wrenches ?!
Hope Joe is doing well
He is. I talked to him this evening.
Is that set missing any sizes ?
Which set? We only showed like 50! Haha seriously it was a lot in there but you can see them all on their website
@@KoonTrucking sorry the long wrench set did it have 10-19mm all sizes or missing some?
where the hell can you buy TRK100 kit? the extendable breaker kit with 1/2" swivel head??
If they make them xl wrenches In 10 -22 I will getem
The long flex head ratcheting wrenches need to include 15 & 18 MM. Those are pretty common sizes on late model vehicles not to include in the set. wrench rolls where wrenches dont fall out ?
#^$*ing beautiful love vim stuff

That a look at the FRBS89 set or the VHC77 kit. There’s your answer
Did vim come up with the crazy drill bits or was it a colab between them and astro?
I think Astro did it first but VIM did them in cobalt
