I feel so called out in this video!!! 😂 😂 But seriously, great video! Some really great advice! #12 is my favorite tip! My day is so much less stressful if everything is clean and tidy! It just makes me happy! Thanks for all the tips! ❤
New subscriber. Lots of great tips! Thank you for posting this video. We’ll be retiring in a couple years, with plans to travel across the states in our Class A, and I’m collecting nuggets of recommendations for future consideration.
@cynthiakammann7368 LOL, I'm keeping it! Just the other day I made swiss steak in the big one and mashed potatoes in the little one. The weather has been chilly so we've been ripping through the propane and making mashed potatoes on the stove was just not feasible. They're done in under 10 minutes start to finish in the instant pot. 😊
Not a fan of the meat masher fad. Bought one, tried it, and get the same result with a spatula. We have limited closet space, but tons of under bed storage. I keep seasonal clothes for the 2 of us in a soft sided bin under the bed. Packable coats are a space saver and warm.
I have a propane stove question for you to answer. I spill something down inside the grates every time I cook. The grates are almost too heavy for me to pick up. I got a Furrion 3-burner stove liner (black ) which is too small for the stovetop and I want to get another one. Do you have a stove liner? If so, what kind? What can you recommend about how to best clean a propane stove.... and how to best keep it clean? Would you ever just use aluminum foil?
Ugh! ME TOO! I don't have a liner but I have seriously considered one, I just don't know if it would be more of a pain than a help 🤷🏼♀️ What I do at least for under the actual stove top is I vacuum any crumbs and then I just use a rag with cleaner sprayed on it to wipe and spills, sometimes it's hard though
@@MakingMyAbodeOTR I appreciate your answer. What I think I'll try is to clean it good, then put down aluminum foil. On top of that I'll put the too small liner to hold it in place and see how it goes. If you watch other RVers you know that some have replaced their propane stoves with convection two burner cooktops and storage drawers where the oven used to be. I have a convections oven in my sticks and bricks house in Grapeview, WA. My rental, in Shelton, has a gas stove and my tenant likes it but it is hard to keep clean. BTW: You said you were currently in WA state. Where?
@judyross182 I LOVE the idea of the convection at least for cleanliness the foil might work pretty well...actually we're currently in sourhern AZ where it's nice and warm!
I keep my reusable shopping bags in my car. I have 1 that I ise to corral all the rest. Working out well so far.
I can't serm to remember to put them back in the truck 😆
Yay, a new video! I vote to keep both Instapots . Great tips and tricks!

@@carollebutler You're welcome 😊
Grandpa always said "Use it up, wear it out, make do or do without."
Your grandpa was a smart man! 😊
Good tips even if one is not a full time RVer, to use at home or in the RV. Thanks and happy travels to you. Loved your clip inserts, by the way!
@dianadunham6691 Awe! Thank you so much!
I definitely have too much stuff!!
@@J_LOVES_ME 😅🤣
You're feeding a family. That's a chore. Keep both pots. They help 'you' multitask.
