Wow, I lived in Plano when it was only 72,000 - 1980. It had an old original vibe on the east side which was cool. It more than doubled when I moved out in 93 but holy cow, 280K is crazy!!
Is there tornadoes 🌪 in Plano & Frisco? Were thinking to leaving our state to move there in Plano or to Frisco. I think realtor said Frisco has HOA which we don’t like! Does it snow in Plano?

It's kind of a shame that entire neighborhoods that are only 20-40 years old are already outdated. What specifically do you think makes these houses look outdated? And do you think that the newer neighborhoods being built in recent years are avoiding those same errors?
@@LIVINGINDALLAS You mention that the facades of many houses in Plano have an 80's/90's look. Meaning that not just the insides but also the outsides look dated and haven't held up as well architecturally correct? I know every facade has characteristics that were popular at the time they were built but ideally they would hold up OK over time.
Having lived in Plano, Texas for 2 years I have one question. Hey neighbor how is your backyard 8 ft high privacy fence working. Nice...nice..mine is actually 8ft and 1 in....... Privacy fences of wood about 8 to 9 feet tall as far as the eye can see. When I moved there from the Midwest, that took some getting used to.
I should know Plano, I lived there nearly 50 years, Plano is not feasible to live in anymore! If one is not able to spend 300 thousand plus on a house you are screwed and good luck getting one with so many offers above the asking. Not practical to live there anymore unless you are a millionaire or an Engineer making 100,000 a year or more! I moved to Sherman Denison area, far more feasible and easier to close on a house. Goodbye Plano!
@@LIVINGINDALLAS In an apartment I suppose? Low income would be living with parents or relatives. I know for a fact you can't buy a home in Plano with a middle class income unless you have a large down payment. A fifty thousand per year income isn't what it used to be! Investors pay cash for homes and they are hogging up houses to rent, similar to Atlanta. A three thousand sq. ft. home is prime rental space for an investor. If one finances, they are at the disadvantage these days, trust me. I buy and sell properties!

Hey Bob. It's good to hear from you again. Mostly the interiors are outdated.

@@LIVINGINDALLAS Yeah. Just funny just how many people have those identical fences in most of Plano. In some parts of the country you rarely see them.

I wouldn't agree with that. There are several middle income and low income families that call Plano home.
