    To be honest this video came on the right moments I just bought the filter but because I was wondering how I was going to configure it for my tank and I didn't want to make it basic but go further. and as life is, it came to me without looking for it, thanks for your help

    Thank you for the unboxing and setup. I've only ever used HOB filters and I want to get the Oase FiltoSmart Thermo 200 for my next planted 15Gallons. With your experience on it, do you think the ajustable water flow can be gentle enough for a half-moon betta? I'm sure I can make it work if I angle the outlet on the glass but I would like some input if you have any. Thanks!

    So to confirm when taking off the pipes, the auto shut off stops the water leaving the tubes? So it stays trapped in there from the bottom to the top of the lilly pipe section?

    Hey, do you actually need surface agitation when using a lily pipe? I just installed by Oase FiltoSmart 200 with a lily pipe just like yours and I barely have any surface agitation, but there is definitely a lot of flow. Is this somethign of concern?

    Great video! Very informative with great editing and closeups of everything you were describing. Could you please tell me how tall the filter is approximately with the inlet/outlet pipes attached? (ie. Near the end of the video you show it in the cabinet). I'm interested in this filter but concerned it will not fit height-wise in my cabinet. Thanks.

    Hi Vladimir, What model would you recommend for a 105ltr tank? Is the thermo 200 too small?

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  Рік тому

      Hi! Maybe you should use something a little bigger for a 105l tank. I use this filter on my 60 liter aquarium and it is sufficient for it.

    Hi, I noticed your intake and outtake are on the same side of the tank, are there any downsides to that? Thanks :)

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, that's how it is on every my tank. I didn't notice any downsides. I think it's great because that's how water makes a whole circle around the tank and ends up in the inlet pipe. But the pipes can be on opposite sides it doesn't matter, it all depends on the setup and how we want to see or not to see those pipes :)

    Da li moze da se stavi manji grejac od 100w u ovaj filter, u akvarijum od 75 litara, filto smart 100 mi deluje previse mali za 75 litara a mislim da nije mozda 200w grejac prejak za tu litrazu? Svaka cast na svim recenzijama, veliki pozdrav

    Hello! Quick question! I just recently purchased a 20 gallon long tank. I will be putting 10 celestial pearl danios and maybe some shrimps and hoping for a Dutch style for aquascape. I was wondering if I should go with the oase filtosmart thermo 200 or 300. Thank you! You make amazing informative videos.

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks!! You can go with 200, and you can go with 300. If the water flow is to strong for your tank you can regulate it but only if you use the original filter pipes (in/out connectors). 300 is larger and fits more filter media. The 200 has the perfect water flow for my 16 gallon tank.

    Koja je razlika između ovog modela i biomastera? Da li se isplati dati 22000 umesto 12000 za biomaster oase? Hvala unapred! Pozdrav!

      Trenutno imam akvarijum od 50 litara sa dve zlatne ribice veličine oko 4cm. A plan mi je kupiti veći oko 150-200litara. Zato gledam veći filter biomaster 350. It's really great filter. And what I like most is that it has a built-in heater in it. I love that. The filter is pretty silent, but here's the catch. Any filter when I put in the cabinet is louder than when it is outside the cabinet,the cabinet behaves like a resonant box.

    • @jpaquarios541

      @@vladimirstojanovic3603 Yes true that happens with Eheim also and they are quite silent also. About the built-in heater I have some Eheim with the same like the 1200 XLT and the 4+ 250 T. But I am planning a new tank and I will go with Oase.

    THIS IS THE WORST FILTER ON THE MARKET FOR SETTING UP. Every video for it does not go over the complexities. Locking on the intake/outtake is a tremendous pain in the butt and then priming the thing is an awful challenge. I've owned mine for about two months. I have yet to get it working. I bought it because I'm a big fan of the 350, this ain't that whatseoever.
