Hi buddy i hope you are ok, when you retrofit that climatronic contoller it was plug and play or you had to modify something, i am about to do the same on my mk5, thank you in advance

It was plug and play BUT I had to swap two wires around so that the unit remember the last temperature set whenever the ignition is switched OFF.
Pin16 was one of those I remember
