We also had some great conversation regarding our abundant summer steelhead run this year, and how big of a role predation plays on our fisheries. Next we talked about our podcasts and how they differ, then we dive into some of how social media has affected our fisheries, especially in pressure areas.

@The80sWereGreat Don't be so salty. Yes, UA-camrs can turn "your" great spot into a sh!t show. But, I can tell you that this year's participation by fishermen was abysmal! We need as many people in this sport (especially young folks) to be out on the water as much as possible. The "wild fish" groups, PETA types, and general Karens sure are getting their voices heard. We need to be louder, higher in numbers, and willing to spend more dollars. Social media influence is more needed than you understand. Don't be such a Debbie downer, it's a buzz kill... If you are having that hard of a time catching fish, my freezer is overflowing. If you need some LMK.
@@ccarter0069heck yea well said i have fished with alex and he is very particular about not giving up spots or blowing up fisheries as well as many other in the industry.

It's a relatively great Summer Steelhead year for the Lower Columbia so it's well worth getting out any river that gets hatchery summer steelhead like the COW
