he's a bloody good actor .his character just jumps off the screen .that takes some class as an actor he's like those rare people you sometimes meet who make a deep impression on you and you never have trouble remembering their name .

I find it interesting how Laroche, who took revenge on his mother's rapist, would think Jane would see him differently because of that. Because if you thinn about it, Jane is the epitomy of "Stop at nothing for my revenge". So of course Jane wouldnt see Laroche as a monster, if anything he would ask him for pointers and potentially even his help. Quite an interesting duo, both of them so vulnerable yet so daring ... Edit : What i mean by the last sentence is, both are very daring : I dont need to explain Jane, you've seen his shenanigangs. Laroche is also daring in how he ruthlessly pursues the truth like a reaper going after his promised souls, without wavering or being afraid. Yet both are so vulnerable, Jane isnt trained in weapons or fights, all it takes is one bad guy out of the hundreds in all the seasons to use a knife or gun on him. Laroche also equally vulnerable, following the Reaper analogy, if you could kill the Reaper, would you let him come for you ? No you wouldn't. Laroche has the audacity of a Reaper but he is so defenseless. Makes for an interesting dynamic
And there is another aspect that you refuse to acknowledge. Being able to use a gun or having a black belt in karate are not " be all and end all ". Since the 2014 Ukrainian coup and the beginning of the civil war, I was lucky enough ( or cursed ) to have known each and every Rebel leader and military commander. All of my beloved surrogate brothers were born athletes, fearless warriors and crack shots. And almost all of them have been assassinated. And someone like me, a Rebel Princess who hates guns and abhors violence, is very much alive. So life is not always black or white. Jane is not a psycho or a sadist- but there are times when he's more terrifying than Red John.

I accidentally spoiled who Red John is for myself which is super frustrating because I'm only on season 4 but even though I know JJ dies, I refuse to watch it because I know it'll be even more emotional when the shotgun goes off... the ups and downs and emotions that go along with this show is why I love it so much. I didn't like JJ at first because he was too blunt with the Todd Johnson investigation but gradually appreciated how dedicated he was to solve it. RIP Agent Laroche
I thought CBI was a confidential unit. Not too clever to have that conversation with other people in the next booth who might overhear what is being said.
