I dive with both and love them both, I prefer Ace Pro's color science tbh. I've done some side by sides and I also find Ace Pro has a slight edge in sharpness over DJI but nothing post can't fix. The one thing I find with DJI is when the light goes really low ie. in caves or corridors or penetrating wrecks, the DJI starts to show it's weakness with intermittent blurs/jitters where the Ace Pro doesn't do this and with PureVideo on, it's a no brainer.

Exactly my thoughts:) But I like cinematic look of DJI footage.

All dive sites around Lembongan and Nusa Penida (manta point, Mangro, Crystal bay, toya pakeh, Sd) and a bit from Candidasa.

Great review. Thank you. Did you use any external lights in any footage?

Thank you. For shallow depths there's no really need for external light, especially during the sunny day. Shallow I mean down to some 15-18 meters. Deeper than that it's better to use light to get quality footage. In this video I used it only inside the cavern and to light up under the corals. The rest is without external light.

Ace Pro is crazy blue sometimes eh. Do you think that it's TOO blue? Often looks like it just puts a blue filter over everything reducing the range of colors you can see.

Hi. I found that if first I point camera to some object close to it, then it’s easier to balance colors. Same as it’s done to get white balance for underwater cameras. Otherwise agree, quite bluish, especially deeper than 20 meters.

@@MartinSlisans That's an interesting way around it. Hopefully it would stick to the colour after that and not do all these colour changes mid recording.

😀 I have footage filmed with GoPro6 last year. Never edited it and can not push myself to do it😂 That's how bad it is comparing to new cameras🙂

The Ace pro seems very over processed. I think DJI looks better.

Kinda yes, but it's easy to fix in post production. DJI looks more cinematic for me.
