Well for a start because the topgearDOTcom video player isn't working currently, which is always super convenient. Maybe it is location restricted? Maybe they can't handle the traffic? Maybe their player just sucks? Either way it is just a pain in the ass.
I think someone was kind enough to upload a mirror to youtube. It's unfortunate that we have to do it this way but if it keeps Chris doing these high quality videos I don't mind that much.

Chris, this channel was hands down easily the best motoring channel on UA-cam. I don't blame you for taking the Top Flop lolly, but this cross posting shameless advertising leaves a poor taste in the mouth.
Honest question. Why? In my case if he hadn't posted here I'd never have seen the vid. I don't check the TG site daily. If anything, by making sure to post short clips on his YT channeller ting us know there's a new vid out he's staying true to his old fans. All that is in my opinion of course. I'm still wondering why it annoys you so much?
Everyone complaining you need 'perfect internet' to watch these videos on UA-cam, your internet must really suck. I'm on a ship with a 2 meg connection that I'm sharing with 19 people I was able to watch the video on Top Gear website with no problems.

They uploaded it, its just a month late most of the time.
The headlight of that Bentley in the thumbnail has obscured the P in Spa and it read like "24 HOURS OF SIA" and I was like "hell no!"
