    The Crave is my favorite and most thrown MVP mold, right infront of the Envy.

    i did an mvp circuit challenge last year and got to try out the tempo and the servo as well as the runway. the tempo has been in my bag ever since, very comfortable to throw and very consistent flight! super stoked for the proton ones to arrive

    I'm an Envy guy. Been digging the Circuit Challenge Tempo too, and I'm excited to hear that this OTB run is more stable.

      Does it feel similar in the hand to the envy or is it deeper like a zone?

    • @sebastjankinney1597

      @@nathaniellee5518 The Tempo feels like a more shallow Zone. It has a very straight rim, unlike the curved rim of the Envy.

    The Uplink and then Nomad are staples in my bag.

    Looking forward to trying a tempo whenever they do a stock release!
    My favorite mold is either the Tesla or the Echo with Drift getting an honorable mention.

    That Tempo looks soooo good. I will always love the Glitch most for playing with my daughter haha

    Ugh. That Tempo and Hex...😩👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I bag both and love them. Love the feel of the Hex, just want a more stable version to fill my OS midrange slot, so maybe that proton Hex could do it? (Currently trying out an Eclipse Reactor.)
    And my Tempo is money. I don't see it leaving my bag any time soon. It's from last year's Circuit Challenge, so it's straightened up a bit, but the Tempo you threw looks like it could be a more stable version of what I've got now!

      I have to ask, do you only throw MVP? Cause if not I'd recommend the Rocx3 for that more stable Hex slot. I love my Hexes but the Rocx3 is my tick up in stability.

    • @tylerking7890
      @tylerking7890 3 місяці тому

      @@dblevins343 I don’t! I’m open to all brands but just have really taken a liking to more MVP discs, one at a time. 😅 But thanks for the recommendation! I may give that a shot if the Eclipse Reactor straightens up too much. 🤔

      @@tylerking7890 I personally find that I tend to love MVP discs. But I have a rule that only 50% of my bag can be any given manufacturer. It forces me to try different things. With that said, many of my staples are MVP (Uplink, Hex, Proxy, Crave). Those are extremely important slots and MVP has all of them claimed at the moment. Other slots I have in by bag that are MVP are the Paradox, Resistor, Rythm, and Relay (which I prefer on forehands for some reason). MVP eats up a huge chunk of my bag (currently sitting over 50% so I'm working on it haha).

  • @dblevins343

    I've been using a Tempo from the MVP Circuit Challenge for about 8-9 months now. I'm not sure what it is, but I can push the Tempo farther than my favorite zone (ESP Flx). It also feels a little bit thinner in the hand to me (which I tend to prefer). I currently bag it and a Järn in K1 Soft. The Tempo fits more into a mid that crashes for my while the Järn is for shorter throws and forehand.

    Is Soft Proton the best plastic in the game? Yes

    • @dblevins343
      @dblevins343 3 місяці тому +4

      My favorite MVP plastic is Neutron Soft.
      But the best plastic IMO is the K1 Soft from Kastaplast.

  • @TheOzzo3
    @TheOzzo3 3 місяці тому

    Soft neutron Hex that I'm baging is really stable. Is this soft proton even more? I've really enjoyed the soft proton paradox. Great disc in the woods. Effortless distance and really workable for those (myself included) who don't have a good forehand in the "toolbox".

    favorite is a toss up between the Glitch and Envy.
    But, as far as your comment goes on the Tempo, it won't be in my bag, but I never liked the Zone much either. It's not a spot I need in my bag.

    • @RustySeatbelt
      @RustySeatbelt 3 місяці тому

      Can I ask what you use for scramble upshots?

    • @zendragon6
      @zendragon6 3 місяці тому

      @@RustySeatbelt yeah, it depends on the situation, but usually I'm using a Glitch or an Envy for shots that need to turn a lot one way or another. I find the Glitch really useful for when I don't have a lot of room to work with and a flick of the wrist will get me out of trouble, where the Envy I'll use when I have more room for a full swing and it holds pretty much any line I need it for as well. If I really need to be creative I have a Resistor I use for thumbers/tomahawks, FH rollers, or shots that need to go left or right fast. I haven't found any situations where I needed anything else than those 3 discs for any scrambling I've had to do so far.

    • @dblevins343
      @dblevins343 3 місяці тому +1

      Sounds about right. While I love my Zone slot (I use a Tempo and a Järn) I could usually get by without them. What I find they do that I can't replace though is a flat shot that fades hard at the end. My Envy definitely fades but not like the Zone esk discs.
      But if you have space throw a hyzer, practically and disc can do it. If I know I meed beef I do have a Resister for a bit more distance.

    I'm still confused... stable = overstable? always saying "this is a stable run" with it not being straight, but overstable. someone plz help

    • @whatsreallythepointthough4048
      @whatsreallythepointthough4048 3 місяці тому +4

      the "more" stable something is generally means the more overstable it is- definitely confusing but just think about it as a scale from most stability to least stability, where most stability is correlated to most overstable and least stability is correlated to most understable

    • @zendragon6
      @zendragon6 3 місяці тому +2

      It's an inherent flaw in the terms we've created for this sport. Somewhere along the way we stopped using turn and fade and started using 'overetable' and 'understable', which don't have definition outside of this sport. But, because we did it, now stable no longer means neutral. It's a scale between "more" and "less" stable.
