I may be in the minority, but I love the mundane/normal everyday flights on the 737/319 as much as the heavies and inaugurals! Another fantastic one sir!
Well, then count me in the minority. I film all my flights because I love all flights. Big or small aircraft, long or short distances. Thanks for watching my friend!
The Channel that never stops giving. I have learnt so much about interesting US airports and destinations from Skylite. BTW, that leg space looks a bit cramped on this flight. I'm 6ft2in so leg space can be a nightmare sometimes.
Well, first, I'm 6' 2" as well, so what you see for me is likely exactly what it'd be like for you. Also, I really appreciate all of that. One of my favorite parts about this channel is my ability to help people experience new places. Places they've never been and maybe never will go to. Thanks for continuing to watch my friend! I really appreciate it!
@@nemiaidid well, that’s kind of a loaded question. Ultimately the airline’s cabin configuration and how many seats they decide to cram in makes a big difference. That said…. Generally, I find Airbus aircraft to be more comfortable form a passenger perspective.
@@sla31 I find Airbus aircraft to be quieter and more comfortable. Boeing aircraft vibrate more in my experience. Airbus seems to have more of a refinement. I'm an av geek. I'm sure most people don't care what plane they fly as long as it gets them to their destination.
I have not. Until recently, traveling with my daughter, who had just turned two, was almost impossible. Because of the mask mandate, she was required to wear a mask. Good luck getting a two year old to wear a mask for any length of time…. Now that the mask mandate is gone though, that might change.
Ah yes, the famous car won't start, or dog stuck in the cargo bay. What you're hearing is the aircraft's PTU or power transfer unit. Aircraft have multiple hydraulic systems. There are primary and backup systems, and they're even separated into completely different groups in case one system loses power or pressure. Each system also gets its primary power from one of the two engines. Again, separation in case one system or engine fails. The PTU's job is to transfer power between systems when an engine is lost, or in this case, the crew is saving fuel by taxiing on only one engine. Since one engine is off, the PTU is taking power from the good engine/system and transferring it to the other hydraulic systems. Sometimes you'll only here this briefly once one engine is running, before the crews starts the second engine, and sometimes you'll hear it for longer, if the crew decides to taxi with only one engine. As long as only one engine is running the PTU will be operating to transfer power between the different hydraulic systems. Airbus has actually done some heavy duty sound proofing on their newer A320 aircraft to dampen this sound. As the A320 is notorious for having a SUPER loud PTU. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
Aircraft with EOW safety cards are equipped with life rafts, a pyrotechnic signaling device, an ELT, and life preservers. This allows the aircraft to operate further from shore (up to 186 miles) and typically mean they can do some of the east coast routes out of the northeast down to the southeast, while not having to hug the shoreline. This is like the step in-between nothing at all and ETOPS.
@@sla31 ofc! I love watching these videos because I love traveling especially on planes and LOL but I’ve almost got the list down that I’ve almost been to every state of the country it’s not full yet but it will be soon
Gosh I love the A319! Pls keep going.
My fav parts is always the boarding, the announcement during the boarding till the engine startup!!
More A319's on the way my friend!

@@sla31 You're welcome buddy. In your experience, which jet/airline has the most spacious or comfortable economy class seating?

Wow... good views on this flight. I now have to rest up from the jetlag - oops, you stayed in Central Time so scrap the jetlag. :)
Just because it's a short flight, doesn't necessarily mean you can't be tired afterwards haha. Thanks for watching my friend!

Beautiful and smooth. I noticed the food wasn’t really food per say but rather a snack 😂. Granted it’s only an hr flight 🙃😂
On a flight this short, we were lucky to get anything haha.
Nice job.. A319 👍

Great fly! Have you fly with your family for this year yet?
I have not. Until recently, traveling with my daughter, who had just turned two, was almost impossible. Because of the mask mandate, she was required to wear a mask. Good luck getting a two year old to wear a mask for any length of time…. Now that the mask mandate is gone though, that might change.
I’m curious as what (I’m assuming) the hydraulics are doing that creates a sound like a car won’t start?

How do you manage to keep your phone steady during the entire flight?
A very steady hand haha.
How comfortable were the seats?
As with most domestic US carriers now, they aren't great, but they're bearable for short flights like this. Certainly better than Allegiant or Sprit.

What does the EOW mean on the safety card?
Aircraft with EOW safety cards are equipped with life rafts, a pyrotechnic signaling device, an ELT, and life preservers.
