Also, if you flare too early and then let go of the flare it's even worse as the canopy will dive in front of you! Speaking as a paraglider pilot I'd be more worried about flaring too late as I'm used to a flatter, slower approach so I might think I've got more height/time to play with than I really have..

To be fair Basejumping is one of those sports where you don't have alot of time to change things when they go wrong so probably experience wont help you as much.

When Matt Jones' channel turned to a lifestyle blog I lost interest. I'm not into showing off your cars etc but then again I'm not part of the Instagram generation.
