I don't think your videos are too long. I think you do an excellent job of making them just the right length so we do get to see how amazing each location is without the videos ever becoming boring.
I could never stay at a resort in Costa Rica. The country is way too beautiful to be stuck in one place, plus the luxury airbnbs there are far cheaper and more stunning. You can drive almost anywhere in CR safely, all while expierencing one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. Can't wait to go back!

My wife, son, and I stayed here just as they opened. We were one of two families there for the entire resort that week. We had to sign attestations stating they were actually unwrapping the pool furniture and using it there verses taking it home and avoiding taxation. It was an outstanding stay. We are due back in two weeks for the Canopy villa. It looks like it has grown so I hope it’s as peaceful as it was.
We had a wonderful time staying here. We went on many excursions while there also. We Zip lined via Witches Rock, rented Sea Doos and at that time you could pay 25.00 to go up to the amazing golf course and ride carts after hours. It was one of the best things we did. The views were incredible and we saw unusual wild life as well. We purchased golf shirts in the shop too. The food was incredible. Our group had a great time under the great pavilion for a nice dinner and amazing entertainment one night as well. It feels secluded and relaxing. We enjoyed going out on a catamaran but just be aware of snakes and we were all stung by things we could not see. Some had a worse reaction than others. I would do it again but I would think twice before getting off the boat. I saw a poisonous snake swim right before my eyes. I was not the only one to see snakes in the ocean either... But that is part of being in nature I guess. This is where you want to go to be away from everything.
Loved the resort, we stayed in 2015 for 4 nights after staying at Nayara Springs, another beautiful resort. Our suite had an infinity plunge pool, with incredible views. Lots of wildlife including visits from monkeys.You could hear them cooing at night. We rented jet skis, and took a ride on a yacht to cruise the coastline and do some snorkeling. Also did the after hours golf cart tour, which was fun, they do this at the Nevis property too.. The food was delicious. I highly recommend gorgeous Costa Rica. We always enjoy Four Seasons properties. Enjoy!

The hotel and nature complement each other. I loved dinner with DJ. Guests were very relaxed. Very cozy atmosphere 😍

Thats how Southern California beaches look most of the time. The drought takes it's toll on the vegetation.

I haven't stayed here but the pool areas are off-putting. Too many people and kids running around. Felt like a zoo. Rest of the resort looked quite nice though!
Just like turkish 2-star cheap ones.
But that could mean it's affordable for the majority of humanity, meaning that the resort operates profitable for longer periods...

Hi, Dr. LTE--I changed my youtube name a little to make it easier to read when I do live chats. Eggs bene in Costa Rica! Very nice resort, with gorgeous beach and good food. Only wildlife I saw was the iguana at the pool--lol. Your suite was nice and excellent amenities! Would definitely want an ocean view rather than a pool view. Loved the sunset shots!
P.S. We had our first real rain of the year today in drought-ridden California.
Great video as usual. The accommodations and room furnishings at this property are vastly better than the concrete floors and shabby looking furnishings at the Andaz Resort. Now this is a real 5 star property and worth the money.
The only negative, is that a good number of Four Seasons hotels, are frequented by Pretentious hotel guests.. so that one thing to consider and why some may opt for a hotel like the Andaz over the FS.
@@patr70 good point. I agree they are sometimes are quite stuffy depending on the location. Though the accommodations and service is usually top notch..
@@Paulguynj Pretentiousness is the WORST energy to deal with becuase people who have that going on are jealous, envious, shallow, and angry. When on vacation I would want to be around pleasant people.. not the Housewives of Beverly Hills. lol 🤓

For a tropical region, the vegetation looks very brown with many leafless trees.
Costa Rica has many kind of tropical variation environments... this place is located in Dry Tropical Forest area so it is normal such kind of trees..
There are also Cloud Forests in the north side of the country, and Rain Tropical Forest in the middle and South Pacific Areas..
Papagayo is located in North Pacific is a Dry area actually...

Yet another magnificent property presented by the LTE. Congratulations and well done as usual. They are never too long imho.
Not sure when you stayed/filmed this however, I really don't understand nor agree with the resort decision that staff should be masked, but guests not. It's over, and for the record, the mask mandates did not prevent any spread of the pandemic. Even the much-vaulted CMO of the US, Fauci, has now admitted this. I digress. Thank you for another outstanding presentation. Make them 2 hours in length and of course, RIP to the red suitcase.
I love these videos. But they've been getting longer and longer lately. To be honest, I don't find the time for that anymore. And I know there are probaly many people who really like the longer ones. Nevertheless, thank you for your great work!

Why are all the trees so brown?
Costa Rica has many different kind of forests... on South Pacific and Volcanic areas you can find rain or cloud forests (like you can see in videos from this youtuber about Corcovado and Arenal Volcano) but on North Pacific is more dry tropical forest there is no a lot of rain here so most trees are not green actually... this is particular on all Guanacaste zone where Papagayo Peninsula is located...
The first thing I notice... why are there so many dead trees when this climate is a rainforest?

Compared to most of the other resorts that I've seen on this channel, this resort was rather underwhelming. All of the dead-looking trees and distant hills certainly didn't help, either. Is this normal in Costa Rica?
You can find several kind of forests on Costa Rica, like rain or cloud forests as you could see on Nayara or Lapa Rios videos.... Four Seasons is located on Papagayo Peninsula (North Pacific) where tropical dry forest is the most common, green trees are not really common there since the average of rain is more much lower than other areas like South Pacific and Volcanic Areas (Central areas of the country).... Caribbean areas are also much greener than North Pacific...

Costa Rica has the most diverse ecosystem in the world. This was filmed during "high" season when it doesn't rain so everything is dried up. This resort exploits the natives of this country. Charging you insane prices while paying their employees pennies.

Hills around the resort are looking poor, such greenery for Costa Rica is 0 out of 10, taking into account what this country offers. FS in multistoreyed builings (not in a city) looks maximum as marriott. Nevertheless, rooms are excellent. But in overall, seeing general appearance of beaches (like mid-scale Bali) and grey wood I'd not even check rates for hotels here

Papagayo is located in Dry Tropical Forest actually so that is normal...
Costa Rica only has two seasons...Dry Season (December-April) and Rainy Season (May-October), November being a transitional month...

I like the resort but I'm not tempted to go to the beach because of the color of the water and the sand.

That’s the one think I don’t like about Costa Rica. It’s the water and the lack of blue beauty . Seems dirty all the time.
Check playa quesera, playa calzón de pobre, islas murciélago, playa ocotal, playa barrigona, isla tortuga, etc. Costa Rica has more than 600 beaches.
Are you sure this is the best beach resort i mean i was expecting much nicer beaches than this especially at a Four Seasons Resort. I find the vegetation dry and brown ugly and the waters too be equally ugly. Where are the crystal clear waters, blue, green colors we expect to be seeing like in Bora Bora, Australia and other parts of the pacific? Ill pass on this excursion. Nothing else to do around here but swim in man made pools? Really? Whats the point of the beach if everyone hangs around pools? It must say something about the ugly beaches, nobody wants to use. And forget lush tropical forests, green vegetation and amazing views. Does not exist here!
This resort that charges thousands of dollars a night to stay, pays their employees $3 an hour or less. Keep that in mind when you're paying 6k a night to stay in this glorified hotel.

So you travel all that long to just stay at a resort? that beach is ugly, luxury doesn't mean best, this would be a waste of money for me, way nicer places to stay in Costa Rica
